You need to travel on the metro and a bus to get to the Eurostars Zarzuela Park Hotel Aravaca using public transport. from the Airport. An hours journey. Bedrooms and decor need a facelift already considering the hotel is only 4 years old, shabby decor and paintwork on walls.Internet facility was not always available. Staff were friendly. No tea or coffee facilities in the room.

Very nice hotel and very good value for money. The one real downer is that it is located in a strictly residential area and there is absolutely no shops or restautrants in the vicinity. The hotel restautant was not to my liking - a very limited menu.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere in a fairly unatractive area, the ground are much smaller than anticipated too. The rooms etc were absolutely fine though and it was well priced.

Mainly positive.Beautiful hotel but unusual location for holiday.Public transport excellent though. Concerns about frequency of cleaning of access passageways. No warning that restaurant/bar closed at weekends.Unusually in a four star hotel, no porter staff. Great reception staff.Very good value hotel.

It is very much out of the way, but a great value. Cabs have a tough time finding it sometimes even with GPS. But great pool and EXCELLENT staff. It's about 15 euro to get downtown via cab, but the bus stops right in front.

I thought this was one of the best hotels we stayed at and for the price quite excellent. The location was a little far from the center of Madrid, but the bus stopped across the street in front of the hotel. We rode on line 161 then took the metro to Sol to the center of Madrid. I would book here again!!

Dommage que la fermeture du restaurant ne soit pas indiquée pour le samedi et le dimanche soir ! et ce n'est pas facile de trouver un restaurant à proximité...

They've fixed the light problem. The drains still smell near the reception area (sometimes)

This was by far the best deal for the money that we encountered in a month of travelling between Spain and Denmark. The rooms were unusually large for European hotels in a similar price range, the bathrooms were beautiful, the outdoor pool was a bonus and air conditioning and overall ambiance made the room great. The hotel was very hard to find and the location is modern urban unattractive but the quality easily compensates. Very pleasant staff

Comentarios en Español & English. We visit Zarzuela Hotel in August 22, 2006 and stayed there for 5 days. We loved it so much that added an extra days to our trip. The Hotel is spectacular! We loved it! The view, the tranquility, the pool….The only thing I didn’t like about the pool, is the fence around it. I understand is for safety, but they should at least paint it for aesthetic purposes (it looks awful in the pictures). The installations are very nice, everything is new and clean. One thing about cleanness: the bathroom sink is made of glass and stains easily with soap and water marks. I found myself cleaning them all the time; Soap marks in the sink are not unhygienic, but they are annoying (at least to me). We drove straight from the airport to the Hotel and couldn't find it. Finally, we asked a police patrol, which drove in front of us, guiding us to the Hotel (I love Spaniards kindness). One BIG piece of advice: Rent a car for the sake of convenience. Besides, downtown is literally a five minutes drive. If you travel in the moth of August, Madrid offers FREE parking after 3pm. That's a huge plus! In Spain the sun light last until 9 or 9:30pm so the days are loooong enough to do everything you have in mind. Going back to the hotel, one thing that irritated was the curtains. In some places, the curtains were off the hooks and made them look awful (I’m not picky, I’m just a good observer). I recommend you to get your room in ground floor, so you can step out in the porch for an amazing view, or walk straight to the poll...very romantic!! Another plus to the rooms, they have small fridges. (tip: you can empty it and put your stuff in it!) . Something that I appreciate in the Eurostars Zarzuela Park Hotel Aravaca is the tranquility and the amazing views, is hard to believe that is located 300 seconds away from downtown, by the way, there are lots of parking spaces in the Hotel. I recommend it. Visitamos este Hotel en Agosto 22, nos gusto tanto que añadimos días extras a nuestra e

The hotel is very hard to find, and it is away from the middle of the city. When you get into Chemartin train station you need to take the P.PIO train and get off at aravaca. then you take bus 161 to the property. Also note, there were no taxis around when I finally got off the train. Other than that my stay was excellent.

1) Breakfast isn't included in the price - unpleasant surprise when you're coming to pay; 2) No signs on the road. Considering huge English knowledge of Spanish people, it wasn't easy to find the hotel.
