Only one block from the famous New York Stock Exchange is the aptly named Exchange Hotel. Placed near Wall Street as well as the South Street Seaport the hotel is a great place to enjoy a more unique view of the city and is one of the more modern and unique hotels in New York.
The Exchange Hotel is located at 129 Front Street which is a Downtown location more convenient to the Newark Airport, but just as easily reached by those coming from La Guardia, JFK or via the Grand Central or Penn Stations.
The Exchange Hotel offers two varieties of guest rooms, the “Standard” with comprehensive electronics, including a flat screen television, free wireless Internet access, and luxury toiletries. The “Executive” is also a modern and high-tech room with the added bonus of a large work space for those on a business trip.
Small and intimate are the key words used to describe the Exchange Hotel. Public spaces include meeting rooms and a small banquet hall; there is also a business center with fax and photocopying available as well.

EurostarsThis hotel worked really well for us. It is deep in Downtown, but very easy to get to by Subway (Wall Street is the closest station - a couple of blocks away) and we found travelling to and from the tourist spots a piece of cake. Good value for money by New York standards and the room we were allocated was huge. Very quiet hotel, so we had a great nights sleep. Would stay again.

Had a great time! We had an Executive Queen room, and were hoping for an upgrade to a King, but unfortunately didn't get it. But the room was large and clean. Only downside was the bed and pillows. The bed wasn't super comfortable, but at least it was firm. The pillows were horrible, so hard they gave us headaches when we woke up in the morning. If you can, I recommend bringing your own pillow! But we still had a great time and we're planning on staying there on our next trip to NYC!

Provided all the amenities that were needed. The club in the hotel was a nuisance at night.

I stay there with my friends and had a great time. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room was very nice and pretty good size for a New York Hotel. We enjoyed very much and definitely will come back!!!

Big room, great serviceI recently visited NYC and stayed at this hotel whilst catching up with old friends, having a bit of a shop, etc. The staff including front office, housekeeping, and bell boys were all fantastic. The only negative aspect of the room was the fact that the trash is collected at 1 am and 5 am from two neighbouring office buidlings and the noise is obtrusive. Also when we asked for an extended check out, the MINX who was duty manager did not even look at us, let alone address us, and turned us down. The hotel did not have full occupancy and this young lady should really get out of hospitality as she has no people skills.

Area convenient by subway to everything. This is a clean modern hotel right in the middle of the financial district and met our needs exactly.

Was close to good viewing place for July 4 fireworks and near to Seaport area & TKTS booth which had shorter queues than the one near Times Square.

Excellant hotel. Great location. Quiet at the weekends. Perfect for exploring NYC!!!Great location, nr Wall Street and the water (South Port Ferry). Two minutes walk to ferry for Liberty island and Staten Island. Two minutes to bus stop for City Sights NY open top bus (a must for seeing NYC). We were upgraded on arrival (it was my friend's birthday) and stayed in a massive room with two double beds, big plasm screen, leather couches and a desk. Bathroom = slightly disappointing compared to quality of room (5*), although bathroom was clean and well proportioned. Be careful using calling cards from hotel. Consult hotel first as i was charged, despite following instructions on calling card.Staff friendly and helpful. All in all, a perfect and great value choice to see NYC.Wished we could have stayed longer.Thank you Eurostar!!!

Right off Wall Street. Clean, quite, friendly and helpful staff. Free WiFi. The room was a decent size, nicely decorated in a Euro style. The TV was a flat panel mounted on the wall, refrigerator, microwave, nice size walk in closet. The room had an ironing board but was missing an iron. The bed was great. firm with nice decent bedding. Bathroom was all new fixtures with basin style sink. The room did not have a desk so you have to work on the bed. I would stay there again. Staff was very friendly and helpful suggesting where to dine or shop. I would definitely stay there again when in lower Manhattan.

Shower curtain had terrible odor. Room is small but expected in NYC, bathroom smelled from shower curtain and had to keep door closed to sleep. Beds were excellent.

Good hotel great CityI Like this hotel. It is in a very good spot, less than 10 min walk from Staten Island ferry and Battery park, so it's grate for the sights and the subways up town.

The roomswere very modern, clean and trendy. Luxurious! The AC unit in my room was rusty. It worked, but looked bad. I was very pleased with the room and very glad I found this hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The fixtures and desk areawere very nice and modern. I have already suggested this hotel to a friend and will stay there again myself.

Great location for statue of liberty, brooklyn bridge, wall street stock exchange, Trump building etc. Subway nearby to other locations. Staff were very amenable, although sometimes slighty slow in responding, usually because not many on duty at times. Safe area, and lots to see nearby for a few days. Overall a nice hotel and very accomodating and polite staff!:)

Visiting NYC for the first time. This hotel was great. The only problem was the plumbing. We had to call the front desk to have someone come up and correct it. Overall the room was adaquate, very clean comfortable and quiet. Room had a wonderful skylight, however at night tended to be a little too dark, so I would suggest more lighting. Price was also great. We will stay here again on our next trip to NYC.

Clean andtrendy. The mattress was the worst I've ever tried to sleep on. I would have recommended this hotel to anyone.

Staff very professional. Very comfortable, well equipped room. TV channels were wrong. Smell of smoke in room even though non-smoking.

When I checked in I found the room dark and too warm. A call to the front desk quickly fixed the air conditioner, however, and all was smooth sailing afterwards. The room was clean, and I didn't mind it overlooking an air shaft. The staff was friendly and helpful, even getting me a cab in the rain. I would go again alone or with a special some one not looking for glamor.
