clean, smart, knowleadgable, friendly, easy going and english speaking staff..... fantastically located in the old streets of the city, few minutes walk to the bars, city centre and main shopping streets, 6-euro taxi ride to the river front restaurants and bars, 45 min bus ride or 20min (16-euro) taxi ride to and from the airport, woudl definitely go back there with a group of friends .... we went in November 08 and the sun was stil out, t-shirt and jeans wheather with a jacket in case its a little windy. Tram ride to have a coffee on the beach was goo too :-)

Very pleasant hotel. Helpful, intelligent desk staff. Good air-conditioning and soundproofing. Decor aesthetically pleasing.Spotlessly clean and frquent linen changes.Location tricky to find and surrounding area a little run down and dingy. Take a good map! Use the Metro from and to the Airport. Very clean and efficient.

Very good hotel - nice, tastefully designed, clean and comfortable. Our room was not very large, but comfortable, well equiped and quite. Bathroom clean and large. Brekfast sufficient. The location is central but quite strange, so one should to make clear the idea of the streats of the city of Porto before. Access by car is quite easy, there is parking in the hotel, costs 10 EUR per day

The hotel was absolutely lovely. Staff were approachable and very happy to help. The hotel itself is situated within walking distance to all the main attractions of Porto. We didn't eat at the hotel but found that the food in Porto was not very good or accessable so would recommend eating breakfast at the hotel. It is pricey but in guarentees a full stomach before a long day out. People in Porto tend to eat light in the morning and heavier in the evening so don't expect to be able to find a cooked breakfast in Porto itself. Overall the hotel was excellent and comes highly recommended.

Very good hotel with excellent breakfast in a central but rather dislocated position.

Very smart, modern hotel. Staff spoke English and were helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is slightly off the beaten track but is fairly central and within walking distance of all the major attractions in Porto. The breakfast was extra at €10 per person but there were two or three small cafes nearby that provided decent food and coffee for a fifth of the price.

Room & bathroom spacious. Located not too good, in a small street with very few shops & deserted rather early at night.

Just perfect! Great relation quality-price (specially if you can rent it for 60€/night like i did). Only one problem: expensive breakfast (10€) and car park (10€/night)...

Rooms are very good, and quiet but with view over rundown housing and flats at rear. The hotel is a good 20 minutes [downhill] walk to the waterfront - much longer coming back, the hills are very steep, but Taxis are cheap. Reception staff charming and very helpful. Poor bar service, and rather inflexible seating arrangements at breakfast.

Hotel was situated in the centre of Porto and easy to get around from it. Restaurants nearby and lovely parks etc. Overall it was very good value for money.

Amazingly great place - I have done many biz trips in much worse hotels very nice friendly - it is a reason to return to Porto!

The hotel was quite difficult to find but was worth finding! We had pre-booked parking which was ideal as there was absolutely nowhere in the street or surrounding area to park. The reception area was lovely and the receptionists welcoming. The room was well designed, spacious, quiet and very clean. The welcoming fruit and wine was set out on the dressing table. Breakfast buffet was good and service pleasant.
