The Inn at Spiess Harbor at Erie Islands Resort & Marina is a 40-room Victorian style hotel overlooking our 160-slip marina nestled on the Portage River, leading to Lake Erie. Transportation:
From Cleveland, Ohio- Take State Route 2 WEST to State Route 53 SOUTH towards Fremont. Go a 3/4 mile and make a right hand turn onto Darr-Hopfinger Road. Go 2.5 miles and the resort is on your right hand side. From Columbus, Ohio- Take State Route 23 to State Route 4. Go NORTH on State Route 4 to State Route 2. Go WEST on State Route 2 to State Route 53 SOUTH towards Fremont. Go a 3/4 mile and make a right hand turn onto Darr-Hopfinger Road. Go 2.5 miles and the resort is on your right hand side. From Cincinnati, Ohio- Take Route 75 NORTH to S.R. 6 at Bowling Green, go east on State Route 6 to S.R. 53 at Fremont, turn left onto State Route 53 - S.R. 53 merges with State Route 20, exit on North State Route 53 - Port Clinton, North on S.R. 53 to Darr-Hopfinger Road, make left hand turn. Go 2.5 miles and the resort is on your right hand side. From Toledo North, Ohio- Take State Route 2 EAST to State Route 53 SOUTH - Heading south toward Fremont on S.R. 53. Go a 3/4 mile and make a right hand turn onto Darr-Hopfinger Road. Go 2.5 miles and the resort is on your right hand side. From Toledo South, Ohio- Take Ohio Turnpike EAST to exit 6 Route 53 North. Take State Route 53 NORTH heading toward Port Clinton to Darr-Hopfinger Road, make left hand turn. Go 2.5 miles and the resort is on your right hand side. From Detroit, Michigan- Take I-75 SOUTH to I-280 SOUTH to State Route 2 EAST. Take State Route 2 EAST to State Route 53 SOUTH - Heading south toward Fremont on S.R. 53. Go a 3/4 mile and make a right hand turn onto Darr-Hopfinger Road. Go 2.5 miles and the resort is on your right hand side.
