those wooden blinds in the room i stayed in were terrible....i had to hang towels up at night to block out the light which was not very successful so i didn't have a restful sleep.

This hotel is close to the Southern Cross train station, the City Circle free trolley, and convenient to things we wanted to see and do in Melbourne. My only complaint is that the room was quite small, and the television and table was really in the way. I'd like to have put those items in the hallway outside our room, since we don't watch television at all when we're traveling. Our price included breakfast, which included a buffet as well as American breakfast--a plate with two eggs and bacon was brought to each of us at our table.

The staff on first checking in were not very friendly and none of them smiled at all. It was like if was an inconvenience for them that we were there. Also there was a lot of cigarette smoke in the hallways. The price was a bit too much for such bad customer service.

I was very happy with the hotel, it surpassed my expectations. I am going to return to this hotel if i visit melbourne again. Thankyou for making my short holiday a real great experience!!!!

I could not access the ABC on the TV. This was looked into and they did make an effort to sort it out but apparently you cannot access the ABC from this venue. Otherwise I found the facilities as expected and was happy with my choice.

Great location and low cost make it affordable and convenient for anyone who wants to stay in the city. Very friendly, helpful staff. Good value for money.

Air con did not work in the room despite speaking to staff. Atitude of maintenence man was "you won't need it later. With renovations going on still, the rooms are very dark and very stuffy.

Great location - just across the road from Southern Cross Station. Staff very friendly. Building works meant that the courtyard was dark but there was no noise. Great wee hotel!

These comments are for a Budget Double Room. Very good accommodation for overnight stays where you only require basic living.

Location was good, and room came with a cooked breakfast. The room still had rubbish in and some of the drinks were out of date. Room very dated and run down and looked dirty although the sheets were clean and bathroom tidy. No extras like hair dryer or phone book. No folder on what the hotel offers or how to use the Television. Very disappointed as the internet picutres made the rooms look quite comfortable.

Need to reconsider their arrangement with restaurant who cater for breakfast. Service is shocking, food is ordinary, restaurant is dirty and dusty, bathroom facilities are out of the last century, no lighting, not clean and hardly accessible. It is unorganised mess and the staff are not even worth writing about. Conversation with fellow guests each morning related to the lack of service and the lack of manners on the part of several staff members. Should we stay again we will not include breakfast in our package.

The Enterprize Hotel is well located on Spencer Street and is only a short walk to trams, trains and even the Crown Casino. The rooms are clean and comfortable. You can't beat the price especially as a cooked breakfast is included. We will definitely book this hotel again in the future and we can’t wait to see the hotel once the construction has finished.

Budget rooms are very basic, small, no external windows and poorly lit.

good hotel for those who want the good location and good price. Not for those who aspire to 5 star but great for the boys heading to the footy. Telstra dome just a drop kick away.

I stayed in the budget rooms, and they are exactly that. The rooms were clean and were serviced every day. The resturaunt at the hotel is cheap, but the wait staff don't speak too much English. The location is fantastic, a short walk to everywhere and easy to get to and from the airport via the airport shuttle bus.

Staff friendly and helpful, close to all services and will definitely stay here again.
