Great location. Great steak house downstairs. Walking distance to all Prospect St. shops and restaurants. Renovation work going on right now, but that will be over soon and hotel will be even better.

I liked the location of it. The room was hot even with the ac on and it ran all night long. The room was nice but hot even with the ac on. The refrigerator was loud when it ran. It was in a nice location and the rooms were nice. The parking was not the best but the hotel did offer value for a price.

Not one staff member was unfriendly. The hotel and staff couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating us. Loved the stay at The Empress. I thank you.

Great location in La Jolla Village, close to all shopping and restaurants, near the Cove. The elevator was down temporarily. Very good staff; very friendly. Location was very good in La Jolla Village and there is a good sandwich shop nearby (by the athletic club). Shopping and restaurants are just blocks away.
