this place sucks. never go to this hotel. me and my wife were very disappointed and my children hated it. this place must be one of the worst hotels i have ever seen in daytona. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My family and I just came back from vacation and wish it could of been much longer. This hotel was great it was in a good location with a wonderful view of the beach. It had a kitchen in the room which was great for making snacks and stocking up on drinks. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans on visiting the Daytona Beach area.

We stayed here based on the reviews however, we don't feel the reviews were accurate. The location was beautiful, you couldn't ask for better but the room was filthy. The carpet as well as the bathroom floor were horrible. The tile floor in the bathroom seemed to be covered with mold. I would not recommend walking on the floor barefoot.

The hotel room was big and clean! The queen size beds were very clean. The room I had was overlooking the swimming pool and ocean front. This was the first time that I had stayed at the Emerald Shores hotel. The employees were all very friendly. My children and I were well pleased. The location of the hotel is very convenient to all the places that we were interested in going. I think people would be pleased.

My husband and I were in Daytona to look at real estate. We thought that we would stay at a less expensive hotel as we were there on business and did not plan to vacation. We were very disappointed in this hotel. It did not look new at all, had a super small view of the ocean, and the continental breakfast was extremely limited. The sheets were so thin you could practically see through them and there was no blanket. Would never book this hotel again!!!

I was very please when i book through orbit... And I am SURE I booked with an Ocean VIEW with the agreed upon price of 204.??, HOWEVER when we got there she said we were not on the OCEAN, WE HAD A RIVER VIEW.. CRIST THE river was MILES AWAY... so we had to pay extrax money to get the room I ORIGINALLY THOUGHT THAT I BOOKED.... so yes i liked the room HOWEVER, I AM NOT SURE WHERE THE WRONG CAME ORBIT, OR EMERALD SHORES HOTEL, WITH JUST TRYING TO GET MORE MONEY OUT OF US... IN FACT I WAS GOING TO EMAIL THEM...

Our room was ready right away and we were on the beach in no time! Which our kids loved!! The room was large enough for the four of us to be comfortable. I loved having the kitchen area it really came in handy with our stay and friends over. The staff was very friendly and the room was kept very clean at all times.

This was a nice new (they said 7 years old) hotel. It was right off the beach and you could just walk from the pool to the ocean in less than a minute. Only problem I had was that the room we had didn't have a mini-fridge and the A/C unit was in a bad location so the air circulation wasn't all that great. I was still overall satisfied with the place.

The Emerald Shores oceanfront Hotel was very nice,clean,well located,very comfortable and very friendly.The hotel was one of the better spots on the beach to be.The pool,hot tub,lawn chairs,tables and all-in-all outside was just great.The room,the view of the River,the sun sets,the bathroom and overall room was just so comfortable.The staff on hand was always very helpfull.I could go on about our stay at this place..This was one very clean Motel..
