The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly and attentive. While the pool was a little small, it was fine for our 10 year old. The evening manager's reception was a very nice touch, while the free cooked to order breakfast saved us quit a bit of money. The hotel was also very convenient to the Metro and the National Mall. We will definately consider staying here again the next time we visit.

Hot cooked breakfast and evening reception were excellent. The hotel was overall excellent. We will definitely be going back and I will certainly be recommending it. When we arrived, we received a new crib for my daughter, which we were impressed with. The room was clean all the time. No complaints.

We traveled on pleasure with our son and had a wonderful experience at the Embassy Suites. Hotel was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. The manager' reception in the lobby and the breakfast buffet were beyond expectation. We would definitely book again.

Excellent place to stay with a family. Everyone was extremely helpful. We met a lot of nice families. The breakfast was very good but got very busy the later it got. During the week I think the breakfast ends at 9:30. By 9am it was crazy. The kids liked to pool but it was rather small. Laundry on two floors. Only two washers and 2 dryers on each floor. Sometimes there was quite a wait. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend with no hesitation

We liked the location. It was in a quiet neighborhood; but very convenient to the Metro; the trolley and tour buses. Surrounding neighborhood offers a wide selection of restaurants. The pool area is small and could use an update. Breakfast was delicious but very crowded. Manager's reception was great - really good cocktails!

Breakfast buffet was excellent. Bed was comfortable.

Just returned from a holiday stay at this hotel and found it looking a little shabby. Furnishings need replacing (sofa was threadbare on the arms and mattresses are getting soft.) Pool is very chlorinated and caused my grand kids to break out in a rash after swimming. On the positive side the breakfasts are still good and we enjoyed the variety of free cocktails available in the evening. Location is great and the walk to the Metro station is an easy one. With its faults it is still a good deal.

Rooms where great for a family of 5. Beds where very comfortable. Staff was always helpfulBreakfast was great but limited seating need to be up early for a spot.Managers special in the afternoon was drinks and munchies just a FYI. Internet on site as well as a business center , kids could check e-mail. pool was small but nice. Used the free delivery from food vendors in hotel book did both the pizza and chinees both where exellect. Walk to the meto wasn't bad 6 or 7 blocks either way.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Embassy Suites starting with being able to check in at 10am on day of arrival. Staff were always helpful and friendly, breakfast was enough variety to have something different each day, and the Starbucks coffee was delicious. Happy hour was great to come home to in the evening but we had to wait in long lines to get drinks, the snacks were plentiful. Our room was clean and comfortable, especially the pillows and bed. No hair dryer in the bathroom. A little too far from the Metro for our liking. Overall a very good home away from home.

Good Size Room. Comfortable, Clean, Close to transportation. Hotel staff did not speak english. Asked for a coffee mug and got coffee refill instead. Hotel was nice. The rooms were large with plenty of space to sleep 5 or 6 people. The maintenance of the room could have been better. The tub knob got stuck and they could not fix it until the next mornging. The front desk staff and managment were helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The fully cooked breakfast included was amazing. Our room was a perfect size for a family of four.

The hotel was clean, and the rooms were a nice size. Parking was a bit overpriced at $31 a night, but they made up foe it with the free cocktail hour! And the complimentary breakfast was great, fully stocked!

Very nice room; Excellent atrium; Good breakfast. On lower floors, view was limited to building next door. Very nice hotel - although designed for the business traveler - it well accomodates families and leisure travels as well. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Everything seemed new although I believe the hotel is now several years old. Staff was very friendly from the doorman to the housekeepers. and its location in a very nice area of DC not to far away from Metro and other sites of the City.

The Hotel was extremely friendly with all the interaction I had with various employees. First off the front desk went out of the way to look up any local football teams playing in the area the weekend I was there, thinking I might want to do something besides see another museum. Also each morning and evening the complimentary breakfast and managers cocktail reception the hostess was very personable. Even though I don't drink alcoholic beverages they allowed me to take a couple of non-alcoholic beers each evening back to my room to relax. My 84 year old father and I spent 8 days in DC just doing the tourist sight seeing , being his first ever visit to DC. The location was great for everything we wanted to see, bought a weeks metro unlimited pass. You are close to Dupont circle and Foggy Bottom stations. With the value of the suite size and the free full breakfast and evening snack and drinks, I found this to be one of the best bargains as I searched many hotels on the internes before making my reservations. I would definetly return here.

This hotel was fantastic. The location was ideal. We traveled to DC with our 4 children for the weekend (on a dime) and the room was spacious and clean. The complimentary breakfast was incredible as was the staff.. we were greeted every morning with a smile. I would return to this hotel on my next trip to DC and HIGHLY recommend it.
