Arrived to find an unfriendly welcome staff who said they had no room ready for us...then found one. Put us in a handicap room with a junky shower - had to hold the head of the shower in place to keep it from moving. Mildew all over the place - no divide between tub and bathroom causing water to go everywhere. Dated room - dirty. EXTREMELY loud group of people there that weekend. Needed an iron since there was a board but no iron in the room - called to get one - 20 minutes later called again - front desk hung up on me. Went to discuss with front desk manager - said that he did not detect any problem with his worker when I called since he was there at the time- so I told him I would be sure everyone else did on this survey. AC BARELY WORKED!! This was the last of a two week trip and stays at 6 hotels - the most expensive of them all and BY FAR the worst!!! Go down the street - anywhere but here. PS - the "free gourmet included amazing" breakfast was terrible too!!

I have stayed at this hotel six times since March 2008 because of the location and shuttle service. I like the suite style and the complementary breakfast. The first few visits were great - the last two have been disappointing. On my last visit, the room was dirty. The bedroom door had white spots, possibly toothpaste, while the bathroom had greasy hand prints. There was dust on the edges of the bathroom door. I was too tired to ask for another room so I dealt with it. In the morning I had a bug bite on my hand. This could have been a coincidence but the same thing happened the last time I stayed at this hotel. This place needs a thorough cleaning inside and out and more staff.

Stayed for a visit to Busch Gardens. Location was right down the road from Busch Gardens. Suite was quite spacious for the four of us with bedroom separate from living room area. My pet peeve is cleaniness and it met my expectations. The free breakfast is not the typical continental breakfast from other hotel chains. You could actually order your meals how you liked it (omelets etc) with anything from bacon & eggs, grits, oatmeal, cereals, pastries ....... I would definitely return.

This hotel is located on the USF campus. It is only a mile or two from Busch Gardens. We could see the roller coasters from the window in our room. All the rooms are suites. We had 2 double beds in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living-room. We had plenty of room for the 5 of us. The staff was very friendly and willing to lend a hand when needed. The complimentary hot breakfast buffet was excellent, complete with cooked to order omelets. We will definitely stay here again. Since we booked on Orbitz the room was only $99.00 versus $129.00 if you call the hotel direct!

As a result of my stay in this hotel, I signed up for the Hilton Honors program to be a frequent patron of Hilton hotels. I had a WONDERFUL experience! The staff was phenomenal! . . . friendly, welcoming, funny, engaging, accommodating, available, informative and attentive to my children. I could NOT have asked for ANYTHING more. I've never had the pleasure of staying in a 5 star hotel but if it tops my experience, they must carry you around on a bed of roses!

Close to Bush Gardens, nice and clean. Pool under reonvation guest had to use university pool & that closed early. Hotel was close to Bush Gardens, nice and clean. Breakfast was good and omelets were very good. Hotel pool was under renovations so I did not get to use the pool. From 5pm-7pm complimentary drinks was nice.

Rooms were large and clean; first day it wasn't cleaned though. No wireless internet access except in lobby, 9.99 per day for in room internet.

I enjoyed the how friendly and courteous the employees were. I enjoyed Tom the driver. He was helpful, funny and punctual in picking us up and dropping us off at our destinations. I also enjoyed Mark, I believe that was his name, at the front desk. An older gentlemen with impeccable manners. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tampa Bay Embassy Suites and will recommend it to all of my friends!!

LOVE Embassy Suites & delighted to stay at this one again. My Jan 07 trip came up wanting: wanting an unused bed and a bath without someone else's body hair. (Mgr not helpful) I was compensated, yet still shared skin particles between the sheets with who-ever slept there before me. Next room had a fiesty toilet. Yet the staff was exceptional. Breakfast is all you eat, evening reception - they have cut back since I began staying at Embassy Suites - 1988. But hasn't everyone? I plan to stay here again."

I like that the hotel had open indoor room all facing each other. No comment. The hotel rooms are very nice. The hotel is family friendly and serves a very good free breakfast buffet.

If you are headed to Busch Gardens, I highly suggest the Embassy Suites. 1 mile from the park, hot breakfast and plenty of space in the hotel room. The evening reception was refreshing with a nice glass of wine. (free!!) Have fun!

The hotel suite was very large and homey, the pool large, the breakfast wonderful. Hot tub did not feel hot. The hotel staff was knowledgeable and quick to answer all questions, the cook to order breakfast was very good, the hotel was approx. 1 mile from Busch Gardens and Adventure Island, this hotel has a pool, hot tub, exercise room, manager special every night, arcade for the kids, the hotel restaurant is spend but very nice atmosphere. I would visit again.

"The breakfast area is very congested and loud. There are not enough tables for a hotel of this size. The food was ok, but bacon and sausage is rationed out instead of being in the buffet area. I also thought that having the cooks argueing in front of customers was not very professional."

The room size. The size of the TV's. Overall you will enjoy your stay. 1 mile away for Bush Gardens/Adventure Island. The rooms are all the same but pretty big. Regular TV's. The free breakfast was a delight.

Nice staff, great continental breakfast, nice managers reception. Room smelled of cigarettes. Good location, nice pool, friendly staff, good breakfast and managers reception in evening, good restaurant, I had stay again in a different room.

I would have to say this was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The 2 room suite was very roomy. and everyone was comfortable.
