We were staying here with other family members for a wedding and the hotel was very accommodating about getting us close to them so that we could help with the grandchildren. Breakfast was fabulous and the staff here is very friendly and engaging. The bedroom part of the suite was very quiet, but the 'living room' part was noisy in the morning when people were out and about. This wasn't a problem for us, but was a bit of a problem for those with small children using the pull-out sofa. Rolling up a towel and wedging it under the door helped quite a bit. My husband went to use the hot tub and there was a lot of dirt in it - that was the only bad thing I have to say.

Suite rooms and really hot water. Air conditioner was not working last evening into morning when we checked out. The lines for breakfast were really long and slow.

I stay at the suites chain whenever possible and this one was quiter than most. Service was wonderful. A brief internet problem was resolved immediately with apologies all round. Buffet breakfast was great and the snacks during free cocktails were more generous and better quality than some in the past branches. Great location easy access to downtown and highway but in lovely area, close to great mall and food.

My friend andI loved the rainforest inside the hotel. The elevators were really slow. This hotel was very clean. And the staff was very friendly. The room was perfect, very big, and comfortable!

I love staying at Embassy Suites! Free parking is right out front so you don't have to worry about being in a garage. The staff was very friendly. I didn't have an ironing board in my room but I spoke with the front desk and it was there within 30 minutes. The rooms (suites) are perfect for families. You can have your own seperate bed and tv without any conflicts with the kids. And breakfast was great!! It's a real hot breakfast; not just cold coffee and stale doughnuts. Eggs to order, bacon, saugage, pancakes. The whole nine yards!! This is my second time at this particular hotel and my third time at an Embassy Suites hotel but all three experiences overall having me singing their praises!! Now this is what I call a hotel. I would stay here just to get away from home!!

Advertising high speed Internet then providing minimal bandwith and charging for faster service is petty. The TV system sucks. Took two minutes to change channel due to having to back out to menu then select TV then select cable then scroll down to next channel. Surfing was impossible. Won't be back.

The Embassy Suites is a great hotel. It had very comfortable beds (even the sofa bed) and it has an extra vanity in the bedroom, as well as the one in the bathroom. This made it very easy for all of us (3 adults) to get ready at the same time. The bathroom is a little small, but with the extra vanity it was not a problem. The hotel is very conveniently located, once you find it. The amenities (cooked to order breakfast & evening cocktail hour) were very well done and tasty as well. The restaurant had decent food, and was ok if you were too tired to go out. Room service was prompt and served hot. The staff was amazing. Very helpful and cheerful. We will be staying there again.

Very pleasant atmosphere. No hassle check-in or out (due to Priceline reservation). No fresh coffee in lobby, only in room. Coffee not the best. Pleasant restful stay. Staff very helpful and courteous. Would recommend for convenience to Richmond area attractions and interstate.

"I was forced to stay in a smoking room after reserving a non smoking room. When asked to be moved I was told there was nothing available. I went back after three nights and insisted a non smoking room because I got very sick on the smoking floor, then I was given a non smoking room and was rushed to move out of the smoking room, this upset me. I had reserved 5 nites and was told thats why I had to take a smoking room in the first place. ???? I loved staying at the Embassy Suites in the past never had a problem. "

The clean rooms andamenities. Nothing. The Embassy Suites was very convenient to Richmond University. It was very clean, comfortable and very affordable, especially in this economy. The staff was very helpful. On our next visit to Richmond, this is definitely where we will be staying.

Incredible lobby area, spacious, clean and sweet. Terrible views of the rooftop below, lots of noise in room from open lobby & halls. The room itself was very nice & clean. I enjoyed the spacious living area & separate closed door bedroom. This hotel has a beautiful courtyard atrium/lobby & overs complimentary hot breakfast & a nightly manager's cocktail hour. This was enjoyable, however there were the massive open attrium/courtyard allows you to view every room in the place the noise from this area rises up throughout the hotel & into the rooms. If they were to soundproof the doors this would be okay. Also a lot of families with small kids stay here & often the kids would run the halls outside which you could easily heard inside your room.

I liked the various amenities that the hotel offered. The staff was wonderful. Greeted me and my family. My husband and I really enjoyed relaxing in the whirlpool while the children had fun in the pool. The suites that we stayed in exceeded our expectations.

Nice and neat the room was. Don't forget clean too. The toilet flushed a little slow. I will be visiting this hotel again in the near future. It was nice and close to a lot of businesses/stores.

The free executive evening cocktails and snacks. Excercise room could have had more weights. Excellent hotel would highly rate this for a 3.5 or even 4 star. The only thing that they could improve on is the excersice room but believe me it is good but just not to the standards of the rest of the hotel. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Free cooked-to-order breakfast, very spacious rooms. What a value! If you have kids, this is the place to be. Free cooked-to-order breakfast and a suite with a separate living and bedroom made the entire stay comfortable, convenient and a great value.
