Nice hotel in a great location however parking is a reall issue and if the are having a Banquet function it is very bad. Overall a great value

Shuttle service to the restaurant. Parking garage very small. Very nice beds, liked the suite set-up, bathroom kind of tiny. Very clean - helpful at the desk - breakfast much appreciated!

The hotel was nice, rooms were nice, LOVED the manager's reception. Great location. Great pool except it looks like a lot of teenager birthday parties come there so swimming in the evening with little kids isn't the best - too many bigger kids around. The restaurant in the hotel is a little pricey for the quality - but convenient. The workout room is AWESOME. GREAT Breakfast - except usually very busy. The kids thought they were in a resort! We had a lot of fun on this trip! Great for families! Checkout and Checkin and Breakfast times are busy in the elevators - there's only 3 elevators for the hotel and the only stairs are for emergencies making it kind of a pain to go up and down during busy times.

Rooms were very clean, bedding was extremely comfortable. The suite was handy, too. Two different television sets so in the early morning the kids could sneak into the other room without disturbing anyone. Our room was near the bank of elevators and we didn't hear any noise of people walking around. There is a fire station close by, and there was one time where we heard a ambulance/fire engine. My kids loved the indoor pool and my husband and I loved the free cocktail hour. Everyone enjoyed the free, hot continental breakfast. Overall, we have no complaints and would stay again.

Clean, beautiful, close to the plaza. Parking was a little tricky at night! The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean. Very romantic. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Have stayed here many times. The choice when in KC. Very consistent.

Very Loud. Tried to place us in a smoking room with king bed upon check-in, after requesting and confirming a non-smoking room with 2 beds. Thin walls. Elevator loud. Next to hospital with ambulance sirens all hours.

Very clean HUGE room two flat screens very nice, but NO noise isolation from atrium which was full of loud drunk young people. Pool is awsome design, but has not been maintained in aprox 5-7 years and is falling apart. Wife and I had dinner cost $100 and was worth $30. Service was good to great. Location was nice. Probably explore other options next time at these prices.

Very clean and spacious rooms. The free bar male staff guy was very very unfriendly! Great location, clean, and well above whatI expected.

Great large rooms, very clean hotel, wonderful indoor pool, excellent free breakfast, free parking, free shuttle service, very close to Plaza. Bathrooms are small, and price for two beds over one seems more than it should be.

went to my son's all star college football game in platt city. shopped at the plaza-nice. ate at gates bbq-great food and service was unbelievable for a take-out sit in resturant. we also visit with friends in the area. hotel gave me parking pass for my girlfriend that lived in town and we hung around the pool. too bad my flight was 6 am. also the free breakfast was good although i only ate 1 morn due to our itenery. would stay again if in area, but a/c needs to be working better in am hours. tech came and looked at it and said all was fine he ck the temp but i am in airconditioning in fl so i knew if it was working but undersized due to alot of hotels do this. thank you kathy

It's a pleasant hotel with a good location. We love the breakfast! Nothing. We've never had a bad experience here. It's the place we always stay in KC.

We are a regular visitor to Kansas City because of the wide variety of entertinment available. We ALWAYS stay at the Embassy Suites Plaza hotel. As parents of 13 & 16 year old boys, we need a room that works. The cost of two rooms is always restrictive, and packing us in one room ruins all of our weekend. The suites at the Embassy are perfect, with two rooms with their own TV and a door which closes between them, the parents and the kids get a little privacy, and at much less cost than two separate rooms. The Embassy Plaza is very attractive and spacious in it's common areas, with room to relax and stretch. The included breakfast saves us money, especially the way teenage boys can eat! The complimentary drinks in late afternoon are a great way to unwind, and the kids enjoy the free pop & popcorn. The pool is big enough to burn off some energy. The entire hotel is very clean, and the staff is friendly. The beds are comfortable, the TV's come with the always present game system, which soaks up a couple hours as the boys get sleepy at night. Access to the Country Club Plaza is about a 3 block walk through an enjoyable neighboorhood, scenic parks and fountains. The Plaza is a day long attraction of its' own, packed full of esoteric shops, higher end clothing stores, and bars, cafes and restaurants of every type and style, from comfortable Irish pubs finished in brass and dark wood, to white linen tablecloth restaurants serving exceptional 5-course dinners. Wandering the 25 square blocks can take a day without even noticing it. Walk the other direction from the hotel and you're in Westport, and area of art & crafts, and more restaurants. Go!

I have stayed at the Embassy Suites before in Saint Louis and the one in K.C. is just as great. Free parking, direct route to downtown, great breakfast and not only a cold pool but also a warmer one. I will continue to stay at Embassy Suites hotels.

Having a suite. Internet charges. Nicely located hotel for some of the Kansas City attractions.

This hotel was in a perfect location. Everything was clean an modern. Parking was convenient. The pool was nice. Breakfast was delicious.--And you get free drinks from 4:30-7:30. What more can you ask for?! My only other comments would be that the bathroom was small and the 'workout facility' was made up of about 10 cardio machines and nothing else. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

The Embassy Suites - Kansas City, MO was impressive. The room was an actual suite (2 separate rooms)with plenty of room and 2 plasma TV's. The beds were quite comfortable and the furniture was modern. The bathroom was quite small but the vanity was separate and quite roomy. Also, the living room area had a mini-kitchen area with a sink that was nice. The pools were beautiful and the restaurant downstairs rocked.

The room was great with a sitting area seperate from sleeping area.

While I had a pleasant stay here in Oct 07, this time I was disappointed. While the rooms are quite large, this time the room seemed more worn. Breakfast is good overall but a dinner meal in the hotel's restuarant was spotty, with some food acceptable and others dishes quite poor. The hotel is located in a nice area.
