The suite was very comfortable. While you could hear noise out in the atrium, it was very quiet in the bedroom. The chef that fixed our breakfast was very personal and joked with his customers. Excellent omelet. Price was pretty good considering all the we got here. Would stay again when in KC.

The rooms were large and had everything you would need except the thermostat did not work. The front desk people were very pleasant and supplied us with a portable heater and even gave us shaving cream and deoderant to replace the ones that were confiscated from our carry on luggage at the airport. There was plenty of FREE parking supplied by the hotel which is important in the heart of a city especially when you come back late at night. The FREE breakfast and cocktails in the evening offered a large selection of choices that were available in unlimited quantities. The only downside was that there was only one computer available for guest use and it was a model from the 1990's. There was an extra charge to get access for your own computer. We went for a long weekend to get away and see a show at the new Sprint center, which is beautiful and has a great lineup of entertainment.

The room was very nice. However, the shower did not drain and did not drain well after it was "fixed". Loved the breakfast buffet. Could watch fireworks display at Corporate Woods from front of hotel.

Very clean, very friendly staff, Excellent breakfast! Within 20 minutes of all KC attractions. Very comfortable bed. The staff was the friendliest I have ever encountered at a hotel. We will definitely stay there again. I would highly recommend this hotel. Room comfortably accomodated our family of four. Price was very reasonable for what we got.

Free breakfast, comfortable bed. Broken elevator/slow elevators. The hotel was comfortable, although only having one working elevator was a significant inconvenience. The food was more than adequate, although the night staff was somewhat short and discourteous.

Next time I need to stop in Kansas City, I'll go back to this hotel. The living area was nice, the bedroom was great, the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. Comp breakfast was great. Staff was helpful.

The room was wonderful and the bedroom was very nice. However, we had to wait THREE hours for our room to be ready. That was very upsetting but during check-out they offered us a free nights stay next time.

Tremendous value for the price. Smaller than usual common areas for Embassy Suite. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable and the staff helpful and friendly. The common areas and pool area were smaller than the typical Embassy Suite would offer but, all was newly refurbished and very nice.

This hotel worked perfect for us as we were in Overland Park to do our Christmas Shopping. It was easy to find right off the interstate and minutes from a great mall and restaurants. The breakfast was great and of course the free cocktail hour was a hit.

Separate bedroom. Elevators/pool. The hotel only has 2 elevators that are very slow and got stuck numerous times. The pool is very small. If you call the front desk for something it takes them hours to get it to you.

Check in service was slow and had many mistakes. Roll aways that were promised to us months earlier when we made reservations were never available. Rooms were comfortable. Service was below what I expect for this kind of hotel.

Room was comfortable and had enough space for our family. Fridge and microwave came in handy. We enjoyed the breakfast selection. Staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. It was very convenient to the highway, the Overland Park Convention Center and there were lots of restaurants and stores around to meet our needs.

Had a great breakfast. Nice older hotel, going through updating at present time. Only one elevator working. Pool closed for remodeling. Our room had been redone nice clean. Staff was great. I will stay again.

I felt like the price we paid was for square footage and not comfort. The layout of the room(s) were awkward. You had to keep the bathroom door closed to walk from the sitting area to the bedroom. If the bathroom door was open and you opened the bedroom door they banged into each other. The sitting area, although large, was arranged awkwardly. Again the bathroom area was large but was difficult to use the shower without getting water everywhere. The manager's special was ok. The breakfast was probably the best part of our stay---better than other breakfast offers at other hotels. However, that in itself will not bring me back to this hotel. I have stayed in less expensive hotels and had better accommodations.
