Came here for a hockey tournament in the area. I was told during the stay had finished a multi-million renovation. Needless to say the rooms look incredible. Very modern, and being suites you have tons of space. Add in the free FULL (not continental) breakfast and free beer, wine, and cocktails at night, and we had a great time. Will be coming back next time for sure.

Great hotel. Having two rooms is perfect to separate work and sleep when on the road for business travel. Plus, they have a convenient and good hot breakfast (complementary).

Inside atrium with stream and waterfalls is very nice atmosphere you cannot tell from outside. Great place and location for business traveler. The inside open atrium with stream and waterfalls was very nice, and the restaurant there reminds me of a Japanese garden. All my special requests were met by very friendly staff. The hotel was a pleasant surprise.

Pool was great, room clean and large. Several large flat screen TVs. Breakfast was good, as always at Embassy Suites hotels. Would go back on our next trip to the north Chicago area in a heartbeat.

The staff at the Embassy Suites were very helpful and considerate. The rooms were very clean. The noise in the hotel was kept at a minimum. The breakfast was wonderful and alot to choose from. The breakfast was very fresh. The pool had a little too much chlorine but that was all that we noticed while we were there. My daughter swam in the pool. We would go back to this hotel if we return to Chicago. The hotel met all of our needs while visiting.

This is a well run and hotel that offers five star features at a three star price.

Three sinks in the suite. Pool area filthy, and remained so for many hours. Great value, and be noisy with large groups. Windows can open for a breeze, but no screens.

We were on our first family vacation (with a 2yr old.) The hotel provided a small bed for him, all we had to do was ask and 5 min. later it was there! The hotel is beautiful with the waterfall and fish ponds in the attrium. Our son spent a lot of time watching fish. We did use the pool, which was nice except for how cold the water was! Our son was a popsicle after his first swim. A heated pool was the only thing I could of asked for. Everything else was great. Breakfast is to die for. If you leave hungry it is your own fault. They had cooked to order omlets and so much more. And the manager meet and great in the evenings proved a snack and free drinks (beer, wine, mixed.) The staff was so friendly, they felt more like friends by the end of our stay. We would stay again. In fact it was such a great experience we plan to stay at Embassy Suiets when ever possible from now on.

This is a first class suburban hotel.

The bed and linens were very comfortable. The windows opened so you could feel the fresh air. AC worked well, not too much drafts. The windows from each living room that faced out into the hallway. It gave a feeling of being on show, not private! The food there was so basic. They were very friendly and accommodating about early checking in and late check out, the new check out time there now is 11AM but they were kind enough to let me stay till 12:30, when asked. It is not walking distance from much of anything except the Arbor Lake with pretty swans and across from the lake was the Hyatt which had a great gourmet restaurant. The hotel restaurant was bland, though the free cooked to order breakfast was generous it was some weird chemical mix of egg - whites that they used for omelet's. The free wine and cocktails at happy hour was nice. The decor was very masculine and lacking color. All dark browns etc.

My husband and I had an excellent stay at the Embassy Suites. The suites were big, with a 32-inch flat-panel TV in the bedroom and another in the living room! Beds were comfortable and pillows were very soft. The suite was spotless. The hot, FREE, made-to-order breakfast was delicious and made staying at this hotel an even greater value. The manager's reception each evening had nice snacks and drinks. The lobby of this hotel is beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. Beautiful plants and a koi pond made for a very peaceful environment. The location is great -- in the suburbs but still close enough to downtown Chicago. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Chicago!

I especially liked the ambience of the eating area. Not enough towel racks to be green. The hotel was a pleasant experience. The breakfast was very good and definitely was a bonus. Omelets, pancakes and waffles were cooked to order. The selection of other breakfast items was good. The cocktail hour was a pleasant surprise. Since it featured a full bar with high quality liquors. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. We would definitely stay at the hotel again.

We were treated so well. This trip couldn't have been better. One night the pool was full but then the next two evenings we had itto ourselves. What relaxation!

The atrium ambiance and the cooked to order part of the breakfast the friendly staff helping with directions. The hours of the restaurant pool, the items not found at breakfast, location far from city, no spa. The embassy suites gives you the feel of a tropical getaway as you enter the atrium with palms, waterfalls, and koi fish. The cooked to order breakfast meets the individual guest needs and the friendly staff goes out of the way to help even at 2 a.m. The spacious rooms with separate bedroom, large closet, and two big screen TVs are great for families but desk space makes it ideal for business travelers. Plan adequate time for travel with daily traffic, but a wonderful hotel experience, and we hated to leave.

Came here right after new years. New renovation looks great. Rooms are pretty contemporary looking and upscale. Breakfast in morning great. Not continental but a real breakfast which was surprising.

Beautiful open area setting with a lot of plants. Right off the toll way, so if you have to go anywhere, you pay tolls. The hotel was great! I loved the evening manager's reception. Besides the beverage of your choice, they provide chips, cheese, homemade salsa, peanuts, & pretzels! The breakfast was fantastic! Well worth the money. The room was relaxing and the bathroom was a nice size. Very relaxed environment. I would return to the hotel if in the area again without hesitation.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to friends. The location is perfect. Just outside of the city but close enough. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. A home away from home.
