We stayed here while visiting the Monterey sites such as the aquarium. Easy to get to all the places we wanted in 10-15 minutes or less. The staff was very friendly, rooms were perfect for a family and the kids loved the breakfast, afternoon snack and pool. Overall, a nce place a good value for what you get.

Extremly friendly staff, best experience with staff in a long time. The hotel was conviently located. It was very clean and beautiful with an excellent staff. Manager receptions were wonderful and very accomadating.

I have heard bad reviews about this hotel but they are wrong. My husband and I are in internet marketing business and had our business travel to Monterey,CA. The staff were very pleasant,accommodating, courteous and hospitable. The housecleaners were very excellent in cleaning our room. The hotel has a very excellent breakfast buffet which surpassed the ones we had experience in the other hotels we've stayed. You have lots of choices for your breakfast. The location of the hotel is also very excellent, close to a lot of places where you may need things in your stay in Monterey. Their conceirge guy, he has good tips on hand to where the good places are, and where you can park to see sites without paying the parking meter (that was a total awesome saving for us!). I recommend this hotel for family vacation and business functions.

The hotel was easy to find and convenient to Monterey attractions. I thought we would be able to see the ocean but you really can't. You might catch a glimpse of a sailboat which confirms the water is out there. Never did find the beach access but the weather is too cold for sunning or swimming. A car is needed if you stay at this location. We will go back.

We loved this hotel! What a fun place to stay with the soaring atrium, indoor koi streams and great location--within walking distance of the beach and a short drive to downtown Monterey. We have 4 teenage children so the included breakfast bar and evening drinks/snacks was wonderful. Great selection of food to please any type of breakfast eater. The room was large and comfortable and although we were right across from the elevator it was not noisy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay here again.

The Embassy Suites Monterey Bay - Seaside, Seaside, California was comfortable with seperate bedroom and sitting area with TV sets in both rooms. I liked the space with the refrigerater and microwave oven. The bathroom was a nice size. Very nice to have an iron and ironing board at hand. It was good to have the lovely beach within 2 blocks of the hotel, easy walking distance. Excellant complimentary breakfast with good food choices. Dining alternatives are a distance from the hotel. Room decor leaves much to be desired, they need a good interior decorator to give the rooms a more appealing ambiance.

When I first checked in the front desk/head concierge person was rude and condescending. I identified myself as a travel agent and showed him my credentials and I was treated like a second class citizen. After we checked into the hotel I needed to go back to the car. As I passed the concierge desk the same person who grudgingly checked us in was sitting with his feet crossed up on the desk. The front of the suite is noisy. Our room service dinner was not delivered as ordered and the food was too salty. Don't order the soup it was spoiled.

The Embassy Suites in Monterey Bay, Ca was very comfortable. My Husband and I visited the Embassy suites for our Wedding Anniversary. The suite was vey neat and clean. It offered ample closet space and additional pillows/bed linen. Room service was also delicious. The location was perfect for visiting the aquarium and nearby restaurants. The front desk gave us detailed directions on how to visit the local attractions. The highlight of the trip was the Manager's Reception and the awesome complimentary breakfast. I will definitely stay at the Embassy Suites from now on!!!

Loved the scenery. The pool was large enough and deep enough but was way 2 salty. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. People were nice and friendly. The room was more then I expected.

The font desk head conceirge was condecending. I felt like he was doing me a favor by selling me a room. The door man and roomservice folks were great.Roomservice food was way too salty and they forgot items that we had ordered. I missed the usual sink in the bedroom. The beds were comfortable. I was traveling with 2 children. This is a good place to bring the family. Not a good place to eat.

I go to the MJF every year and have stayed in a different hotel every time, well that will end as this was the best hotel ever. The hotel IS the hotel staff and at this hotel they are absolutely the most friendly and helpful I have ever encountered. The food is good the rooms are clean the hotel itself is very, very nice. It is worth the money. You get a great breakfast and if you are a Happy Hour person that is nice as well.

I had booked the wrong date, and the staff helped me change it with no extra charge. Had to pay for internet. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was nice with a decent view. Happy hour was pleasant, although some "low carb" choices in the snacks would be nice (i.e., cheese, meat).

This is one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. The amenities make it extremely convenient and enjoyable. Can't beat the complimentary beverages in the evening, and the complimentary fabulous breakfast buffet in the morning. Also enjoyed a swim in the indoor pool/spa with the kids. Service was also exceptional. I would highly recommend for families. 5 stars!

Allways a great place to stay with out the worrys if the room will be large enough or wether there is a hair dryer or a place close buy for breakfast this has been my fifth or sixth time staying with Embassy Suites over the past several years and they are a cut above the rest I know that every time I stay It will be a pleasing experiance if its for buissness or a family vacation or just some R&R with my wife. If I have the choice it will be with the one that is consistant with every thing they do Embassey Suites . L.T.

The room was big and very nice. Bed was wonderful, food was great, and meeting facilities were very good. And the staff was incredible! Very very friendly, helpful, and accomodating. Only downside is location...you cannot walk to the Monterey Bay tourist attractions, but the drive is only 5 minutes or so. I would definitely stay here again and/or recommend this hotel to others.

The Embassy Suites - Monterey was very nice . The two room suite was very spacious . It is located very close to all the tourist attractions and major highways . The dining in the hotel was fantastic . There are also several restaurants within walking distance .
