My family and I reserved a room for 2 nights here for my sister's graduation. The reservation was apparently guaranteed, which turned out to be total bull. We arrived on time, luggage and all, and they say, "Sorry but we have been overbooked, you can stay in our conference room with a roll-away bed for free?" I would have thought they would at least call us to give a heads up that we have absolutely nowhere to sleep, but they decided to just see if we don't show up so they can charge us a no-show fee, WHEN THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE A ROOM FOR US. What type of cheap, disgusting policy is that?. So here we are, stuck in Lincoln with all our luggage and nowhere to stay, and the Embassy Suites offers no help accept a poorly worded "Sorry." If you plan to stay here, don't fall for the "Reservation Guaranteed." You'll end up sleeping in a cot bed in a hot, crowded conference room. If that's not bad enough, you have to pay EXTRA money to park in their parking garage, $1 an hour, ACROSS THE STREET. They do this because there is no other place to park in this crowded little city. The "High Speed Internet Business Center" is nowhere near high speed, nor does it allow you to even check your email without being stopped by a "Page Blocked" sign. If you want to use the internet on your own laptop, it is $10 per day. This hotel didn't even meet the standard of a little bit clean. The breakfast area was over crowded, messy, and covered in sticky syrup. I have a large family, so I politely asked assistance from a waiter if i could move two tables together, who expectedly rolled her eyes and ignored me. So much for "Incredible Staff." I know I will never stay here again.

My wife and I stayed the night for our anniversary. We walked the Haymarket District, shopped and just generally hung out. Very nice hotel with friendly service. We took full advantage of the complimentary happy hour. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone who just wants to get there and not get back in their car. There is tons of things to do within walking distance.

Very casual and enjoyed the breakfast. Had to leave too soon. The room was pleasant, clean and well arranged. The evening cocktail area was restful and breakfast was delicious.

Courtesy shuttle from Lincoln airport was nice. All hotel personnel were courteous and helpful. Room was clean. Good access to outlets for laptop, chargers, etc. Internet access was good. Very convenient location to client's office. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Only negative was a loud family with kids next door but in fairness, I did not log a complaint. Recommended!

This is a very nice place to stay in downtown Lincoln. We walked to the Haymarket many times and other downtown restaurants and bars. The Managers Reception and breakfast buffet was WONDERFUL! They did have a hard time keeping the snacks filled up though at the Manager's Reception. It was nice to sit outside and have our drinks.

My husband and I spent one night in this establishment and were extremely pleased by its cleanliness, nice lounge and updated decor. We unfortunately missed the complimentary happy hour with snacks and drinks, but greatly enjoyed the complimentary made to order breakfast, which included anything from freshly made waffles to omelets. It is within walking distance of many great little restaurants and pubs and is a nice enough part of town that you feel safe walking down the street in the evening.

Free cocktail hour and free breakfast. We had a great time, the rooms were beautiful and roomy. Enjoyed the cocktail hour while the kids swam. Very nice. Also the free breakfast was amazing.

The downtown Embassy Suites in Lincoln is typical of most Embassy Suites -- nice rooms, good service, hot breakfast. Generally I seek out the brand. During my stay, I could not get any hot water in bathroom sink which was kinda annoying. Also, acoustics were terrible. Folks having a few drinks after work really became pretty loud later in the evening. Internet access costs an extra $10 per day and parking is across the street at $6 per day. Not too bad but remember to consider these additional costs on top of the room costs. In a nutshell, I thought the hotel to be quite nice but overpriced. If you need to be downtown, recommended.

I wasn't happy to find there was no free parking, as was advertised. Also the comp breakfast was still being set up at 7am. Otherwise our stay was great. Room was clean and the staff was friendy. I would stay here again.

Our son was a student at The University of Nebraska and we always stayed at the Embassy Suite in Lincoln. We were always treated with friendly and helpful service. The rooms were clean and everything was perfect. The breakfast was good. We will always stay here when we are going through Lincoln.

Location. Pay for parking, pay for internet. We enjoyed our stay here. We missed the manager's special (free drinks), but we did have the free breakfast and it was wonderful. I love the location right next to the Haymarket area. The only things that would make me reconsider staying here is that you have to pay for internet and parking. I understand about the parking because it's a city lot, but most hotels have free wireless internet now and as a frequent traveler, I usually base my decisions on that amenity.

Convenience to downtown locations, and University activities. Parking. Beautiful hotel with open atrium. Rooms are good sized, and very clean. The hotel is conveniently located, and within walking distance of all college activities, and great restaurants.

It is a beautiful hotel. Inside has a huge atrium that reminds me of Vegas. The parking was not convenient. On the outside, it looks like a normal hotel, but when you walk inside, it looks amazing. The atrium is enormous and it gives a Vegas look to the hotel. The rooms were well thought out for work or just to rest.
