Clean spacious rooms, friendly staff, GREAT complimentary breakfast buffet. Enjoyed visiting and meeting new people at the managers happy hour 5-7pm daily, free drinks and snacks were provided..The hotel provides free scheduled transportation to Disney theme parks.Even the guests were friendly. We were treated like family.

Manager reception, atmosphere. The room had a funny smell and was not super clean. My husband and I took my 3 year old son there just to get away for a night. We swam in the pool most of the time. Toward the end of the time we were in the pool we noticed that there was a substance that looked like floating around in the pool. The room had a moldy smell and was not super clean. On the other hand, the staff was extremely friendly and the common areas of the hotel were very nice.

STAY AWAY - we won't be back. The pool does have warm water "trickling" through the intakes making the large pool not at all warm - expect to not spend too much time in it. The location of the hotel is in fact very close to Disney World but the traffic getting out of Palm Parkway and onto the access road to either the nearby Disney World entrance or I4 is almost always terrible. Expect to contend with a lot of unsupervised children in this hotel, frustrating when they play with the elevators. One time, after the room was cleaned we were supplied with 1 washcloth and no toilet paper - problem was fixed quickly after a call to the front desk but something as basic as that shouldn't have been overlooked - there were 4 of us in the suite. THIS HOTEL IS WOEFULLY UNPREPARED AND UNDERSTAFFED TO TAKE CARE OF THE BREAKFAST CROWD - expect to wait at least 20 minutes for an omelette if you get there after 7:30 am. - big waste of time especially if you have kids with you. We spent 8 days and 7 nights here - couldn't wait to leave.

When we first got there, we found out that our room was outside at the back by a stinkin' trash compactor. We had to walk past the stinky trash area and up a very dark and dingy stairwell. We were not made aware of this in advance. The room was extremely musky and we went through two spray bottles of Febreze Antimocrobial. Mold was on the back window. We moved to another room and smelled the same musky smell within the room. We will not stay in this particular Embassy Suites again!!!!!

Stayed 6 nights. Easy to find and good location to restaurants and attractions. Rooms do need to be updated and TV stations limited. No Fox News!! Great breakfast and great omelet chef, but food does get cold fast. Maid service slow and was suppose to receive paper every day but didn't. For the $$ I guess it was worth it

Check in went well. Our room was not available early, but the desk took our cell number and called us when it was ready. We were in an hour earlier than posted check in. Room was tastefully appointed. The king bed was comfy and plenty of towels were available. The complementary breakfast was made to order. It really was nice, not hard boiled or powdered eggs. Fresh fruit and pastries were also served. The lobby and atrium were tropical and inviting. We will consider staying again.

Loved the breakfast cook downstairs! He was friendly and so funny. (used creative names to keep our orders straight in the omelet line). The stairwells became super slippery, when it rained and there was no drainage so deep puddles formed. I would highly recommend this hotel for the person who wants to enjoy the comforts of a hotel room for evenings or moderate periods of rest plus have some comforts of a larger suite like basic galley kitchen etc. They provide a killer hot breakfast and great friendly concierge and hotel staff for any questions or assistance you might require.

I am not one to complain and make a big deal so I kept the room I was given, however I was displeased with the cleanliness of the room I was in. The bathroom appeared to be old and dirty, as well as the floors. Since I have stayed in quite a few Embassy Suites, this was out of the ordinary. In addition, when my son and I went down for the breakfast buffet the pancakes were cold and hard. I asked the cook if he could please make french toast and he said "nope." Last but not least when I approached the desk that sells tickets to the amusement parks, I was basically told I don't make enough money to qualify for a discount!?! I'm not sure I understand that! I am a nurse and I actually make plenty of money. I was planning to stay another night in the hotel, but because I was diappointed with the room for the amount I paid ($*** + tax) I chose to leave. I could have gotten the same quality room for a third of the price at a Hampton Inn.

Room was outside at the back by a stinky trash compactor. First room had mold on the back window, it was musky, and required some Febreze Antimicrobial. Moved to a room on the inside. Still had the musky smell and we continued to spray Febreze. Very disappointed in this particular Embassy Suites. It was very noisy and busy.

Conveniently located far enough away from the Disney property to avoid the traffic and noise. Breakfast and happy hour was a very accomadating feature. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was attenitive and courteous.

My family stayed here on the backend of our cruise/disney vacation. We are a family of five with kids ranging in age from 7 to 17 so the two tv's and the extra space came in very handy. The pool was beautiful and well maintained and the hot tub was so soothing. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch and the breakfast chef was quite a colorful character:-) Breakfast offered something for everyone. After a day at the disney parks the kids couldn't wait to get back to the hotel for an evening slushy and a swim in the pool. The kids were allowed to swim until 11pm so that worked out well. Overall the room was spacious, clean and well equipped. We had a refrigerator, microwave, kitchenette and coffee maker. Another nice touch was movie night. The hotel offered a poolside movie each night on a huge 20ft screen. We were able to watch the movie from our balcony with the kids in their pajamas. Other guests watched the movie around the pool where they were also provided popcorn. Our room was quiet and eventhough we overlooked the pool, we were never disturbed by other guests in the pool. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for large families. In addition-we arrived a few hours early and found that our room was available for check-in. The desk staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful.

There were not many things about this place I could complain about. The breakfast was great, the manager's reception was great, the staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. The folks that provide transportation at the hotel, the cab drivers were excellent I had some complaints about Thanksgiving dinner. It appears that it was poorly planned, not the fault of the staff, but the gentleman at the front desk Hector was very helpful in taking care of any issues. If I ever go back to Orlando, this will be the place I will be staying.

The hotel is nice in appearance, but too close to I-4 highway. We had a room on the highway side and the noise was very loud. The pull out sofa was very uncomfortable for my 72 year old father. The free food was good and the room and hotel were clean. I would not go back though.

The Embassy Suites at Buena Vista is located just 10 minutes from most of the Disney theme parks, making it ideal for families who may need to go back to the hotel for a break or nap time. All rooms are convenient suites, with microwaves, refrigerators, and televisions in both the living room and the bedroom. Having two rooms means that kids can go to sleep while parents stay up and enjoy the manager's reception every evening (free drinks), watch a movie and have popcorn, or get some much-needed quiet time. In the morning, there's a made-to-order breakfast to re-fuel everyone before heading off to a park or taking a dip in the pool. The rooms on the first floor are a bit musty, so try to get a room on the upper floors. The room service menu is scant, but the food is very good. There's plenty of delivery and take-out options -- everything from ethnic food to steak or pizza. Downtown Disney is a five-minute drive, with additional food options. A Winn-Dixie (3 minutes away) means it's easy to run out for milk, soda, or snacks. FYI, go ahead and rent one of the many cheap rental cars in Orlando. This hotel is affiliated with Disney and has a free shuttle, but the shuttle makes a long trip around to all the theme parks, meaning that there is no way to go directly from the hotel to the one park you want to visit -- there will always be stops at each of the parks before you get where you're going.

A hidden gem, tucked out of the way but easy access to everywhere. Beware the sprinkler system, your car will get sprayed, hard water stains look nasty on black cars. Everyone went out of their way to make the stay special, the pool is cool in the morning but afternoons it warms up great.

The indoor pool is small. They say they show poolside movies but never did. They do offer complimentary breakfast which is just okay. They also offer complimentary drinks and snacks for both adults and children each night which is nice. The rooms are old and worn. For the price it was okay. We were able to stretch out. Would not stay here again however.

We find the Embassy Suites in Lake Buena Vista to offer us the best of both worlds. It has a great pool with plenty of chairs to relax in and also offers a wonderful breakfast to get us energized for the days at the parks. The manager's reception in the evening is a good way to wind down, or recharge before going out to dinner and????. We really enjoy the flexibility of having 2 t.v.s in our room on the few occasions that we spent time there! The refrigerator and microwave give us many options. We usually stop at the grocers and buy a case of juice and water and a few treats and we are happy all trip long. The employees were kind and willing to help, and the rooms have been renovated since our last visit. They seemed cleaner and more comfortable. Next trip to Lake Buena Vista, it's Embassy Suites for us!
