breakfast ends at 9.00 a.m. on weekdays. this is unreasonably early and in my one-week stay i observed many guests aggravated by this parsimonious policy. despite requesting a non-smoking room when making our reservation, we were given a smoking room and told that the hotel was full - which it wasn't.

Front desk very friendly, helpful hotel well kept. Pool/ hot tub overrun by kids sports team with no manners or regard for others. The hotel itself was wonderful. The room, staff, and check-in/out was what we expected from Embassy Suites. If you have kids and want to enjoy the pool area find out if there is a kids sports team staying as well. If they are anything like the group we experienced, choose another hotel, there are other nice ones in the area. I would hope the staff would make an effort to monitor the pool area. However this was not the case during our visit. Instead we experienced utter chaos and mayhem and were not able to enjoy the amenities. Between being splashed constantly, the chicken fighting, dodge ball and extreme volleyball it was no wonder not one person outside of the team was able to hear, swim, or sit in the hot-tub, let alone relax. I was certainly embarrassed for their parents and coaches, as well as the hotel for not putting a stop to it. I did not feel compelled to get out of the hot tub, dry off, and walk to the front desk to tattle tale on out of control teens and their idle parents. Maybe you prefer a confrontation, I didn't. I know this would not happen at the Marriott.

We stayed here for two nights. Upon arrival at first they had trouble locating our reservation but finally located it. The lobby and convention area are both very nice. The lobby has a nine story atrium with glass elavators. There is also a waterfall in the lobby. The suite was very clean and comfortable. There is everything needed for travel in the room from ironing board to a coffee maker and microwave. The suites are great for both business or family travel. The sleeping area is divided by a door from the living area which makes family travel nice. Every night there is a reception in the lobby with snacks and drinks and the breakfast is part buffet or cooked to order. The food is very good. It is a full service hotel with restaurant,bar,and room service. There is also a gift shop. The pool is very clean and nice although it seems to stay very busy with a great deal of children in it. The exercise room is very nice and also a steam room and restrooms and shower nearby. We enjoyed the handy location to the interstate and shopping. We would also encourage a trip to downtown historic Franklin. It is a beautiful hotel and we will stay there again.

We have stayed in many Embassy Suites over the years and they were always a step above the rest, in amenities, in friendly service, in clientele. This particular Embassy and the one we stayed in on Financial Parkway in Little Rock seemed more like staying at an old, almost worn out hotel. This time, I was disappointed that I spent the extra money. The hotels themselves just seemed dingy and loud. They were less than helpful. The breakfasts aren't what they used to be either, one of the main reasons I chose the E. I remember the fresh, warm Belgian Waffles and did not find not one at either hotel. Suffice it to say, next time I won't waste my money. They're still charging the price but have greatly lowered their standards.

room was not clean and smelled! hotel filled with young kids. our next door guests were very loud. i've stayed in many ebassy suites and this one is a disappointment. i had come to believe that you get what you pay for when it comes to ebassy suites, not this time.very unhappy!!
