When my boyfriend and I checked into the hotel we were told that the room we originally wanted had to changed for no reason at all. The agent told us this after we signed the documents. Then when I put up a fuss and asked to speak to the manager, she changed the room. The next day, when we went for breakfast we noticed that items were stolen from our luggage. We assume that the only person that had access to our room while we were away was house keeping. The place is way to expensive for horrible service and a maid that steals what more can you ask for!

Was not impressed with this hotel for the money we spent. $920.00 for 2 nights with additional $20.00 EACH night to park at their hotel. Ridiculous! Too far from Cliffton Hill, and the Falls. View was a "crane -your -neck" sight from out of the window. Would NOT recommend to anyone else. Decor in poor taste also.Too pricey and they hold about $400.00 more than your bill says for your total upon check out. Don't quite know why. Would absolutely not return here again!

Would prefer either no music in dining room or something a little more subtle! Very distracting. Drink prices very high and a real shock - but excellent service and surroundings.

My wife, six year old son and I returned on July 11,2009 from a four day stay at the Embassy Suites Hotel. We were on the 33rd floor and had an unbelievable view of the falls. You simply can find no better location than this hotel. The suite was clean, well-appointed and more than sufficient for the three of us. Our son enjoyed the swimming pool each afternoon which was very nice. The problems at the hotel all stem from the same issue---the hotel is so large (over 500 suites) that it appears that when full there are just more people than it can handle. There are insufficient elevators for all of the guests making for long waits. There is insufficient parking available on the grounds which forced the hotel to secure a parking low about 1/2 mile away which makes for long waits when you try to get your car from the valet. ALL of the parking is valet so you have no choice but to wait unless you want to pay $30 a day for parking instead of $20. This extra $10 per day keeps your car on the hotel grounds which greatly reduces the wait time to retrieve your car. Finally, the breakfast buffet which is included in the price is absolute chaos when the majority of guests arrive for breakfast at about 9-9:30. The buffet ran out of knives, trays, etc. on a regular basis during our stay. I believe this hotel would be perfect if you don't go during prime time when the crowds are just more than it can handle. tj

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. The manager's reception was also enjoyable, but a suggestion might be to vary the items served, especially if you have travelers staying for several days.

Excellent location - amazing and biiiig fallview rooms/suites(!) with biiiiig jacuzzi! I saw both falls at once ;) Great full hot breakfast buffet. Wonderful hotel!

On April 18, 2009, I booked a King Room with Falls view, just as it is listed here; DO NOT BE DECEIVED. We paid $* per night and when we opened the door to our room we were facing a building. When we went to the window and look far left, you can see the falls. This is not what I expected and this is not what I paid for; the advertisment is very deceiving; The view that is pictured for the King Bedroom nor the view from the tub is the view that we got, and the King bedroom suite was two queen beds pushed together. After talking to the desk, we were first told that this was a King Suite view and that the picture that is dvertised, there is the only one room of that type, and if we wanted to upgrade we would have to pay an additional $* per night. I presented my reservation to the front desk associate, and also presented a print out of the advertised price of $* per night, and I was told that they would move us to a better room. They moved us to the 40th floor, with the same side view of the falls to the left the room. I was totally disgused that I paid $* per night for this room which is higher than the advertised rate, it took an hour of my vacation time to debate with the associates about this room. I would not stay here again. The Sheridan and the Marriott are inches from the Embassy and their fall view rooms are all facing the falls, not partically facing the falls. I will take my chances with either of them if I were to return to Niagra.

The Embassy Suites was absolutely awesome. It was located right by the falls and in easy walking distance to everything there is to do in Niagara. The staff was wonderful and so very helpful. jhe hostess at the manager's reception even went so far as to get us a map and help with directions to the area attractions. Free Complimentary breakfast - don't expect just cold cereal and a pastry here. There is a complete hot food bar with many choices, fresh fruit, numerous muffins, hot cereal, yogurt, etc. Also a cook-to-order area included at no charge! Every evening there is a manager's reception where there is a whole arrray of snacks and drinks nd even coupons for free drinks at the bar. Super nice way to relax. Plenty of close eating establishments. Housekeeping is awesome. Our room was very nicely furnished, very clean and kept that way through-out our trip. The beds were comfortable. I would defintely stay at the Embassy Suites again.

Too many people scheduled in small accomodations for breakfast and afternoon reception. For what I paid for the room I would think there would be an adequate "Concierge" area with a view.

My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at the Embassy Suites-Fallsview on the weekend of June 5-7. The view from our non-smoking, king size bed, with a whirlpool tub was amazing, but it was not a straight on view of the falls. The photogragh of such a room choice that the hotel shows in their limited photo descriptions of its rooms is misleading. There are limited rooms with that view in this motel and it was not available for the price we paid. If you are planning on watching the fireworks that are on Friday and Sunday night, you had better check with the hotel to find out if your room has this view, or you will be disappointed when the fireworks start. At that time it will be too late to make it anywhere to catch the 5-7 minute show. We watched the reflection of the show off from the windows of the tower next door. This was our only disappointment that happened during our stay in the hotel. The staff, room service, and available ammenities were all great. You can dine in the hotel, or take a short walk for many other meal choices.

The hotel experience was great. The staff were friendly and was very accomodating. The view of the fall from the hotel room was spectacular. Even the kids enjoyed their stay and enjoyed the view, they didn't want to leave. I would rate this hotel experience as one of the best I've ever had. My previous experience at another stay was so horrible, I promised myself that I would never go to the falls again. But this vacation has changed my mind and I can't wait to go back.

Front Desk Staff had Horrible Attitudes. We reserved two non-smoking rooms and asked to be placed on the same floor. Upon arrival we were told that same floor rooms were not available. We were placed in smoking rooms on floors 25 and 42. Later we had another guest to inquire about same floor rooms and surprisingly several were available. The front desk staff attitudes STINK and because of this we will NEVER stay at another Embassy Suite Hotel!!!!!!!

I had very unpleasant experience at this hotel. I came to Niagara Falls for 4th of July weekend with my family. I had booked 2 queen beds. When I arrived at the hotel, they told me that they don't have 2 queen beds available. Hotel staff was very rude with me. I asked them why they didn't reserve the room I had booked? They said it was a computer glitch. They offered me 2 choices: either take inferior room in Embassy suite or take a 2 queen bed room in a much inferior hotel. My US cell phone didn't have service in Canada. Without cell phone or internet, I felt helpless at the reception. I wanted to talk to Orbitz. I requested them to connect to Orbitz, which they refused. At half past midnight, I did not want to go to another hotel with my wife and 2 little kids (who were getting cranky). I felt both cheated and humiliated at the same time. I am writing this review as soon as I checked into the new hotel and got online. My vacation is ruined. I have been using Orbitz for it's reputation and the excellent service I have received in the past. Today, I was let down.

reserved the king bed, falls view suite, the room was not ready till 4:30 pm and we had to wait for 45 mins in the lobby. They offered another room with $30 extra, which we declined. Our room was on 10th floor, which is the lowest floor possible. we could see the falls from the room, but over the terrace of the restaurant, we expected a better view. took the tour package, they told us it would be $110/person, on the receit it showed $298 for 2 people. The lady told me, that is because there is additional tax and this price is in canadian dollors, I will be charged $260 USD. When I checked my credit card bill, I have been charged $298 USD. She gave me all the documents in an envelope, and I always thought that it also included my receit, when I came home and checked my envelope, there was no receit of the payment of the tour package. Ya, if I were a billionaire, did not care about the money, this was a great trip. I would suggest, do not buy the tour package, but get all the information about the places to visit and things to do. Everything is very near by, buy a $10 pass of the hotel shuttle OR similar pass of the govt. operated shuttle, which will take you from one place to another. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The govt. operated shuttle starts just behind the hotel.

Convenient. Expensive parking, shuttle buses should be part of service and registration clerks should be more informative on what the hotels offers its guests. Nice. Very friendly cleaning person. OK breakfast menu. The kids liked the manager's reception. TGI Fridays in hotel lobby-need more customer relations service.

I went for my birthday and to take pictures of the falls and from my room on the 23rd floor facing the falls I could see everything it was a breath taking view. If I were to rate the embassy suites I would have to give a 10 all around. The rooms are very clean the staff was great and helpful and very pleasing . Dining was fantastic. Please believe me when I say IF you all going to the Niagara falls Embassy suites is the only place to stay.
