The location of the hotel is great, but it needs major renovations. The carpets are stained and dirty, the wallpapers peeling off, the furniture is old and has definately seen better days. The walls are paper thin and you can everything in the room next to you. Upon arrival we entered our room and the people in the room next to ours were so loud that I had to go back down to the desk and request a different room. They were great about doing this but I must say that both rooms were equally in poor condition. I would not stay there again because of this. There is a Hilton Garden Inn about 1 mile from there that we stayed at previously and the rooms are very large and lovely. I will definately go back there again the next time.

The corners of chairs and bathroom were not clean. It was worth the money, the sheets had hair that didn't match mine so we switched and slept in the other bed. The breakfast had rotted fruit.

The lobby is beautiful but that is where it ends at this hotel. Just 15 min after we checked in we discovered a cockroach in our room. NOT WHAT YOU EXPECT FROM AN EMBASSY! The front desk moved us down the hall, but our stay was ruined worrying if there were cockroaches hiding in every corner. NOT the souvenirs you want to bring home from vacation! We expressed concern about the problem but we were just advised to call 1-800-Embassy. The rooms were also worn and dated! There were stains all over the carpet, peeling paint and wallpaper . The furniture was also worn and dated. There were food crumbs on the floor and under the sleeper sofa as well. The room was just not clean, which might explain the roach. The pool was cloudy and murky. When I asked the attendant if the chemicals were checked any time recently, she reported that the day maintenance man was slack and they would shock it when the night staff came on. Obviously by the horrible conditions at this hotel it is more then the maintenance crew that is slacking! Stay someplace else or take a can of Raid! This was an AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!

Outward appearances are excellent. Beware of "dated" and dirty rooms. Walls are scuffed, carpet is so dirty that our feet shed dirty water in the shower, walls are so "thin" that conversations next door are easily overheard and disturbing, beds are marginal for comfort. The rooms open into an open forum much like an echo chamber. Breakfast nice. Too far from city. For the price, this is no bargain. Most of the hotel staff were professional and kind. We will not stay there next visit.

Lobby, pool, made to order breakfast. Hotel was excellent for our needs of 3 teens, fitness centre and pool area were great, and the included made to order breakfast was very good. The area of Syracuse was also clean and felt safe. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This is the best hotel ever!

The hotel seemed alright. It was OK for our stay, but the heater ran all night! I had set the thermostat down to 61 and the heat kept blowing. Finally, when I woke up sweating at 4 in the morning I called the front desk. AT that time I was told to shut the thermostat off entirely. The base of the lamp in the living room area was filthy and spattered with the remnants of several unidentified liquids. The small children did enjoy the pool. The complimentary breakfast was also appreciated.

Very comfortable beds, great TV, excellent service. Nothing. A-1.

My nine year old daughter and I went to the hotel as a mini-vacation, planning on staying in the hotel and enjoying the room and pool facilities. From the time we arrived, we noticed there were things missing from the advertised description of the room! There were no in-room movies or video games, not even a hair dryer in our room. The room was very old in decor, including a FLOOR MODEL television that looked to be from the 70s! The furniture in the living room was worn, there were holes in my sheets. There was splattered food on our door that took 3 requests to get cleaned! We were one of the first in the pool each morning, and had to clean the dead bugs out ourselves!! There was a VERY rude pool attendant who yelled at my daughter and told her "don't jump in the pool", as soon as we walked through the door! Some of the staff was overly nice, but there were a few that ruined it for the rest! The lobby was gorgeous and the breakfast was excellent! On check out day, we were locked out of room at 15 min prior to checkout while we were attempting to load our luggage into our car. Staff blamed it on us not getting out of the room in time!!! We will try somewhere else next time. This was WAY too much money to spend for the problems we encountered.

The entire stay was great, great scenery, comfortable, friendly...BUT i was appalled to learn that they charge you for internet access. In this day of WiFI for all, i'm surprised that they charge $10 just to access their network. That alone, was enough to deter me from returning, unfortunately.

Safe shallow pool. Over priced. Not as nice as other Embassy Suites. Not as nice as other Embassy Suites and a bit over-priced. Breakfast which as included was not as comprehensive as other Embassy Suites Hotels. I would not stay at this hotel again. There are many others in the same vicinity which probably give better value.

The staff was pleasant and the breakfast was excellent; however, the rooms were in poor condition and in dire need of updating and deep cleaning. Our room was very hot and the thermostat did not work - we had to open the bedroom window all the way (in Syracuse in January!) to make the temperature in the living room habitable. It was not worth the price we paid.

The rooms are spacious, the breakfast and reception great. The rooms are very dated. The furniture is tattered. The price is reasonable, the extras are very good. Pool, complimentary breakfast and reception. A bit noisy but it is a family hotel. Does not live up to the "Hilton" standard. If the rooms were refurbished it would have scored a 9.

Full breakfast was included for the weekend. Pretty lobby. Would have preferred twin beds. Overall I was quite pleased with my accommodations and the courtesy of the staff.

Free Breakfast and Drinks at night. Too many kids on the weekend/. Besides being 5 miles from Downtown the hotel is the best in Syracuse.

Great customer service. Very friendly staff. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a reasonable rate, a friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations, especially for families with children. The position of the television set in the living area was in an awkward position, and offered too few channel selections.

Everything met my expectations and beyond. From the pool and spa to the restaurant and bar and room. Hotel staff was very willing to help. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Service and comfort were there. I would definitely make a return trip to this hotel.

The atmosphere in the lobby was very welcoming. Pool water too cold, hot tub not working. Only 2 PC's in business center. The room was very comfortable, but the hotel is located next to the thruway and I could hear night traffic. The pool was disappointing too cold. Both the breakfast and Manager's social hours was a nice added feature.

Upscale, clean, friendly and convenient. Pool could have been nicer. The hotel is comfortable and upscale. The price was terrific. The location is good and the staff is very friendly.

Hotel and lobby very eye pleasing. Room carpet was torn and looked very worn, 1 elevator location took forever at busy times. We enjoyed the pool with our children. The breakfast was very good, and had lots of choices for our group of 6. We would choose the hotel again.
