The NEW Embassy Suites downtown Tampa was a great buy. Adjacent to trolley for easy transportation. Starbucks on site is nice too!! VEry happy with the stay.

Offered a complimentary happy hour from 5:30-7:30, an amazing breakfast buffet with omelets cooked to order and a nice swim spa. Valet parking was mandatory and over-priced. The hotel was new and very nice. The complimentary happy hour (for two hours!) was a nice way to start our night on our vacation. The breakfast was not like the usual continental breakfast. Omelets cooked to order, a wide variety of other foods and juices. The swim spa was nice. The location was nice, within 15 minutes of nightlife. The only downside was the mandatory valet parking. It ended up being $21.40 per car per night! And we were tipping them, too! Overall, the stay was very nice and I would definitely stay there again!

We stayed the night before our cruise. Great location within walking distance to Tampa nightlife. The room was large enough to accommodate 4 adults comfortably. The cooked to order breakfast was really good. The free drinks at the Manager's reception were nice, but the snacks were lacking. But the FREE drinks made up for the snacks. The pool is open 24 hours which was nice. The elevator takes a while, but we were on the 20th floor. The only downside is the mandatory valet parking. We would stay again.

This hotel was right acrosss the street from the convention center and just a few blocks from the port for cruises...great location! The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Great breakfast with room, spacious and comfortable room. Expensive parking. The Embassy Suites Tampa is a very nice hotel, conveniently located near the business district of downtown. Very clean room and lobby, friendly staff, and wonderful breakfast. I will stay there again the next time I am in Tampa on business.

Opon arrival we had our vehicle valet parked (which is the only option you have). At the time, I left my camera in the back seat underneath a cup holder with other items, cell phone, charger etc. We then entered the hotel to see a long line to check in with only 2 desk employees working with 2 or 3 empty stations. After a 20 min wait we were finally given our 2 rooms. Then when we went to leave in our vehicle, everything was there except the camera. I then went to tell the front desk, who told me "Our valet service is outsouced and we can't do anything for you." I had to plead with them to make some sort of complaint. They continued to be very rude and only say that I need to talk to valet. After making the complaint with the valet, I was told I would be contacted in 48 hours. Finally after 3 1/2 days, I called myself to follow up. All they had to say was, "We spoke with the valets on duty that day, and they knew nothing about it." and added "We don't have security cameras at this site, so there is no way to know who parked your vehicle" I ENCOURAGE YOU NOT TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL DUE TO ITS LACK OF SECURITY AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION!

Beautiful pool, nice view of harbor andcomfortable room. Slow elevator, stupid desk staff, noisy lobby and poor service with towels at poolside. It is conveniently located great downtown location, close to key highways in and out of Tampa. The view from the pool and above is great. Great free breakfast spread (cooked as well as continental). Imposing space, glass elevators. Very good value for the money.

I stayed at this hotel because it is a reputable establishment.Worst customer service I have ever experienced in the hotel industry. I would NEVER stay or recommend this hotel to anyone!

the server was great and the hotel staff was wonderful, especially the breakfast staff. we had a party of 14 family members and after our 1st day of breakfast everyone seemed to know members of our group. we enjoyed our stay and help make some very good memories for the story family.

"We enjoyed our stay & the room with one exception. The hotel on the river (not associated with this hotel) has a LOUD club that you can hear from your room. We called the front desk and they, very politely, told us there was nothing they could do. The music finally stopped at about 2 pm. You have to valet park because of the location. We would return, but make sure we are on the other side."

"The rooms were clean, the staff was helpful and I was very impressed. I was on the 15th floor as well which gave spectacular views. They have an exercise room on the 3rd floor next to the pool."

"Very comfortable. Courteous staff. Convenient to Arena. Motor entrance required turning into a special wrong-way lane on a one-way street, and was not well-marked."

Good for the price. Staff was cheerful and dealt with what problems that did arise. A small exercise room would be a good addition.
