The downtown location was fantastic. Very Central with lots of shops and cafe's. We had a King suite that was extremely reasonably priced for the quality of the hotel. Beautifuly redone old world charm of the lobby and room. The only drawback is that the hotel does not have complimentary parking. There is a lot across the street that hotel guests can park in. It's $18.00/per day or $28.00/per day vallet, but this is not uncommon for downtown hotels and this hotel is worth the parking fees.

I was in Portland for medical reasons and my stay at Embassy Suites lessened my anxiety greatly. There was no black tea in the room.

Hotel room was nice and spacious. The in-room coffee with fridge was convenient. The hotel was located right next to public transit and a car rental place, as well as voodoo donuts and china town. The buffet breakfast though was nothing to write home about.

Nothing but the breakfast. Room was foul. Pool had scum on the tiles. Do not waste your time with this one.

a spacious suite for a family of four. Less like a suite and more like an apartment. Elegant hotel and a nice restoration of the former Multnomah Hotel. Good value for the price of the room - included a reception in the evening and a breakfast with an extensive choice of breakfast items. Hated to leave this hotel after one night! I

The hotel is beautiful and centrally located in the heart of Portland. Just blocks away from the Saturday Market and Voo-doo Donuts. The beds are comfy, and everyone is very friendly. the restaurant served really good food. The free breakfast is a great benefit. My only criticism is of the nightly manager's reception. After waiting in a 30 minute line for one free drink (not worth the wait), the chips and salsa are really disappointing. Skip the reception. The rest of our trip was a great one!

Restoring an historical hotel as an Embassy Suites hotel was a brilliant idea. Parking is not included. Beautiful facility, suites are impeccably decorated and pool, exercise room and breakfast were all very convenient to our room.

All around great hotel, clean and comfortable. Worst view possible in the entire hotel, looking at rooftop equipment! The lobby, location, breakfast and reception were great. To listen to the heavy equipment was ridiculous. We stayed again on Sunday driving in late and were having much better room on the 7th floor, but a warning should be offered instead.

From the moment we stepped in, we noticed attention to every detail. From the huge, nicely decorated rooms, to the fantastic and huge (free) breakfast, the (also free) happy hour, and the beautiful pool and friendly staff. The concierge was terrific and helped find a babysitter and get hard to come-by dinner reservations!

Loved the architecture and the building's charm. Rooms were large and had everything one could need. Beautifully decorated. Bed was extremely comfortable. We were there for a nearby wedding. Very convient location and wonderful free breakfask the next morning before we left. Wish there were staff milling around the lobby to help with questions.

It was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was excellent. Loud outside street noise as the hotel has older windows. The hotel has classic beauty. The late pool hours were very convient. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel let me stay after check out and use the facilities while my daughters were at a play. I was very happy with the value and atmosphere!

I have never stayed at an embassy suite where I did not have a suite. The room we had was so small I felt like it was a closet that had been converted into a room. If the curtains were opened it showed a lovely view of the pipeworks of the buildings heating and air conditioning. Cannot say anything good about the room other than it was clean, and that is important. If the room had been less expensive maybe I would have excpected to get a smaller room but it was no less expensive than any other Embassy Suite I have stayed at. Will avoid that particular hotel the next time I go to Portland.

The location and price made this a good stay for our family on this vacation. The pool facilities could be cleaner. Overall, our experience was a good one and I would stay at the hotel again. The location is perfect to enjoy the downtown area.

Really liked the rooms, breakfast was great too. Parking for visitors not using the valet service. I have been very pleased each of the three times that we've stayed here. The physical building is beautiful and historic. It's in the heart of downtown Portland, an easy walk to coffee at Powell's, the downtown Park Blocks wherever. This time we were able to use the pool and the fresh cooked breakfast has been great each of the three times too (real eggs, bacon, fruit, etc not just doughnuts and bad coffee).
