This hotel was awesome! Staff made killer food recommendations. It was a brisk walk to R& R Hall of Fame... and shuttle made lots of fun places even more accessible. Add a terrific breakfast and manager's happy hour and I wish we could afford to stay at an Embassy Suites every time we travel.

Great suite. Pay for parking. Great value, great room, 2 hour open bar, breakfast in the morning.

3/09 Have stayed many times because of the staff. Bellmen are excellent and very friendly, remember us everytime we go. The rooms and beds are always clean. The only hesitation I have now is the free breakfast isn't very good. Older worker making omlets apparently he's been there a while and gets very impatient, food is terribel and not plentiful. This kinda puts a bad spin on everything. Shopping in area if pretty much nonexistant, but not hotel's fault.

Walking distance to alot of sites. Parking fees expensive.Rock & roll Hall of Fame. Drove to canton for the Football Hall of Fame. Could walk to Progressive Field for a baseball game. Not much to do in Cleveland. The Theater district was not promoted by the Hotel and it was only 3 blocks away.

The ambiance was upscale and beautiful. The front desk clerk was busy on her personal phone call to greet us.

The room was very clean and the staff were pleasant ! We enjoyed the made to order breakfast in the morning , very enjoyable ! The location was excellent, great city to visit and nice part of town ! The only downside was the food in the diningroom , just average.......

Was a great location. 1/2 mile from Progressive field. Was overpriced. Parking was additional and wasn't even easy access. One bed full size, too small for 2 adults. Rooms were large and spacy. Place was clean, staff very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was awesome. It was a true city hotel -- big, self-contained, had everything on site. It had everything we needed, the lounge and restaurant were great, walking distance to everything-- great complimentary breakfast, big rooms, friendly staff ... one of the better hotel stays I have had. And a great price!

The room was a good size, especially the sitting room. I did not like the fact that there was only one light switch to the bathroom even though there were two doors. My over all stay at the hotel was good. I did not like the fact that u had to pay to park in their garage every time you left the garage. They should have a charge for the whole day especially if you are going to be coming and going from the hotel.

Our stay was great. Hotel was classy and clean. Check in/check out were smooth. We ate at the hotel restaurant the first night. Service was friendly and efficent. The food was delicious. Not too expensive either. We did not use the pool w/adjoining hot tub or the work out facility but we stopped in and took a look and both were nice areas. Also the pool has an adult swim after 10pm till about 12 midnight. The room was divided into two rooms and a small kitchen area. Very nice. Lots of space. We ended up with a king sized bed and two balconies. The bedroom and livingroom each had a 32 inch HD LCD television. The kitchenette area had a nice size refrigerator, sink and a microwave. Linens were crisp and clean and pillows were nice and fluffy. If I had any complant about the room it would be a strong odor from smoking. We asked for a smoking room because we smoke obviously, but the room when we first arrived smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. Perhaps they could use some fabreeze or something. We had to open the balcony doors to releave some of the odor. Also internet is not free. There is a charge of 9.99 for 24 hours. However, we have a wireless card and there were so many signals from nearby buildings we just hopped on one of those. One of the best parts of our stay was the complimentary made to order breakfast every morning. There was also a managers reception/ happy hour thing with free drinks but we didn't make it to that. Parking was also not bad. If you park yourself it was only $8 a day. Would definately stay there again. Highly recommend.

The feel of the hotel was very nice. The staff - front desk and all - were very rude. All around our stay was good. We checked in Saturday and the hotel was beautiful and easy to find. The attached building had many nice amenities such as a grocery store, restaurants, and dry cleaners. The check in staff was short and acted like they really didn't have time to answer our questions, and seemed annoyed we asked some. The room itself was pretty, laid out nice, and very comfortable. After staying a while some things started to be noticed. The door lock was very loose, the carpet was coming up in places, and the coat closet door actually fell on me when I was trying to hang my coat up. I was less than pleased. The bedroom was nice and very comfortable with a big bed and lots of pillows. It lead to a really good nights sleep. The breakfast the next morning was an absolute horror. We didn't get down until late, but the crowd was impossible. The wait staff was very rude. Our entire breakfast there was one woman complaining that the guests needed to leave cause it was time for breakfast to be over, and she wanted to go home - she was doing this very loudly, next to all the tables. It was very hard to find a seat because no one was cleaning off these tables as well. We then went to explore Cleveland, leaving the hotel. When we got back that night, the room had been cleaned and was very welcoming. We spent the night in the room watching TV. There was a Scorchers bar and grill on the main floor of the building, so we got to go dinner from there, where they were very nice and helpful. The next morning (Monday) we were both kind of dreading breakfast, but it was like a whole new experience. The wait staff welcomes us and asked if we needed any help. The cook, while still a little crabby, was quick and efficient. The room was clean and the food well stocked all around. It was very nice. Check out was quick and easy.

We really liked this hotel. The rooms were large and clean with all the amenities we needed. They have two nice flat screen TV's in the room. The free breakfast was great in the morning, with omlets made to order. The shuttle service was great, it took us to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and to a concert and all we had to do was call and they picked us up within a few minutes. The drivers were always pleasant and helpful. The only negative about the hotel is the parking situation. They do not have any signage in the front of the hotel as far as where to park to check in/out, and where to go for valet. I have an SUV and it wouldn't fit in the parking garage (6'2" tall) that is nearby which is also where they park the valet cars. I had to park across the street in a different parking garage, which ended up to be cheaper anyway. There wasn't much shopping in the area of the hotel. There was a small cooridor next to the hotel that had a coffee shop and a small grocery store that we utilized. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again if we ever find ourselves in Cleveland again.

The Embassy Suites in downtown Cleveland was a very nice hotel. Our room was extremely spacious and comfortable with plenty of great features. The full breakfast was great. The area was nice with lots to do nearby. However, I had two major concerns- in the pool area children were doing back flips and diving into the 4 foot deep pool while the staff member who was supposed to be preventing such things read a magazine instead. The second was that there was a very loud hotel party nearby that went on until at least 4 am and the hotel personnel apparently did nothing to quiet it. Overall we had a very pleasant experience and I definitely recommend this hotel.

Large, lot to do, that is, bar, lounge, pool, fitness and gift shop. Location; set outside of safer area. Overall, fantastic stay! This hotel has everything to offer inside the hotel. Everything was very nice, well managed. Concierge and hostess very kind. Someone at the front desk even talked us out of driving around and using the shuttle instead. The shuttle was fabulous! They dropped you off and picked up when called. Suites were large and comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean. GREAT place! The area outside the hotel did not feel safe.

Great Shuttle Service and Rooms. The valet service is awful. Takes forever to get your car. Not nearly enough staff. Not enough elevators long lines for those as well. Breakfast staff, restauant, and managers reception very friendly and accomodating. The pool/hot tub was a nightmare. We went during "adult swim" (over 21) time and it was full with teenagers. We were told by staff we would have to wait 20-30 minutes for towels to be ready, even though the staff person had 2 in his hand --he was saving for someone. The hot tub was not at all hot, and was very dirty. Our eyes were burning when we got out--we're guessing there was too much chlorine in it.

The Embassy Suites was a great place to stay in Cleveland. It is close to all main attractions which you can walk to everything. The hotel also provides a shuttle within 5 to 10 miles that is free. The staff was exceptionally nice from everyone that we encountered. We were very impressed.

The room was very accommodating even for 3 women. The person cleaning our room did not replace soap or toilet paper on out last night of stay.
