Great location and great facility

Location and quality. Cost of parking and no in free in-room internet. The hotel was excellent except for the $44 for one day of parking and the fact that there was no free in room internet service. Also, there were only three computers for internet in the business center.

I stayed with daughter and granddaughters in November. It is just a few blocks from Michigan ave and nice roomy accomodations. The pool was cool at first and they warmed it up. I love the Embassy suites but the food was better at the lakefront embassy.

I was shocked to realize that there was no free WiFi in the hotel. Instead you have to pay 11.95 a day to use it. We paid using our credit card and the hotel did not properly secure the card numbers . On our fourth day there was fraud on the account. Someone had used the numbers to purchase over 2500 of stuff online at BestBuy. Our vacation card was frozen and our trip was ruined. If the hotel had not been nickel and diming us for services this never would have happened.

It is a great hotel for families with kids! I probably wouldn't stay here if I came with adults only due to the amount of kids here. The buffet breakfast is great. Happy hour is okay but, ran out of food & drink lines were very long. Either way, it was a really nice hotel (great rooms and comfy beds).

Breakfast great and lobby was impressive. Expensive parking and short handed at front desk.

Gotta tell ya, I would highly recommend this hotel. Embassy Suites. It's beautiful inside, staff was great, the hotel itself is clean. Beds were comfortable, rooms were a good size. Your right in the middle of everything in downtown Chicago. The breakfast was great! I would definatly stay here again

For Valentines Day, me and my husband booked this place, bought new swimsuits, looking forward to use of the pool and hottub, but the place was full of kids, many unsupervised, running around, yelling, screaming, having a great time at the pool and hottub. Maybe some adult only time at those facilities would be a good idea. The evening reception with free food and drinks as well as the hot breakfast included, helped make up for the out of control children. We would probably go again if they could change the rules of the pool and hottub. We get a room for Valentines day every year, as well as for other occasions in the city.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The furniture in the rooms were out dated.

We stayed here for two nights last weekend and will definitely be back. The staff was so friendly and helpful! It was a perfect weekend, thanks to the people at the hotel. Accomodations were great as well, a quick walk to Michigan Ave., close to the theatres and great restaurants!

Me and my fiance stayed at this hotel for valentine's day. And it was a blast. The staff was very helpfull. Everything was in walking distance that we wanted to do. I just wish we went when it was warmer. The room was great, very big and elagant for my fiance who is a small town girl. Very beautiful lobby area, valet was nice to have since most parking was going to 12-15 dollars for each stop downtown. This hotel is great for more of a romantic getaway than a family trip.

Good location, good breakfast and evening reception. Rooms had a lot of space and were clean.

The bell hop was really friendly. I've never so much cross contamination in one restaurant. Wasn't worth the money. The rooms were very dirty. If you could ignore the very poor cleaning and handling of dirty dishes from the staff. Had a good selection of breakfast foods. Pool was full of children screaming and fitting not being monitor by any adults. I guess that what happens when pool is only 4 feet deep in middle of pool and 3 feet on both sides.

This is a great place to stay with your kids. The rooms are large and there is a door between. The cooked to order breakfast is a time and money saver. The lobby area was generally crowded around breakfast and happy hour, but our room (5th floor) was never noisy. The location is a quick walk to Michigan Ave. and a short cab ride to the theatre district. This isn't a place I would choose to go if I was getting away without my kids, but it is perfect with the kids. We have stayed several times and will choose this hotel again.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Had never been to Chicago before but with all the help from the front desk, concierge and the doormen, my son and I were able to easily navigate all the sites and restaurants

Great breakfast/Great Managers reception in evening. Exceeded our expectations.

I stayed here with my mother and aunt, both seniors, in June. The hotel was full of families, and was abuzz with activity. Not at all a place for a restful getaway, but as an attractive, convenient, and well-maintained base for a Chicago vacation, it was great. We enjoyed the nightly happy hour and daily breakfast. Both offered great varieties and options, and are served in the grand (although, again, not at all peaceful) lobby.

Overall our stay was very pleasant hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again. The managers reception was a nice bonus with free drinks although the free food could have used a little more creativity. But they made up for that with a wonderful hot ,made to order omelette breakfast in the morning.

There was nothing special about this hotel at all. I have stayed in much less expensive hotels and found them to be much better. I very much felt like i should have been getting a lot more for my money. There was no pillows for the hide-a-bed & having kids screaming in the halls, starting at 6am wasn't all that enjoyable either. The topper to it all was waiting for over an hour to get my car from the valet. That is after trying for over an hour to get through to them to get my car. Save youself some money and go somewhere else
