Rooms are excellent but having the room type I booked was problem. I booked for two nights in a ocean view king.I was told when I arrived that it was not available. I was dumped into a nice sunset room facing a wall. I was upset about this and manager Keith told me I would be moved the next day to the room I booked.Following up myself to what Keith said I met Tom.Tom was more sarcastic and combataive to my frustrastion then helpfull. He offered to take my parking off after a half hour speaking. I never got my booked room. Overall the hotel is nice but my stay was not.

Great hotel for relaxing and dropping out. Not the place to go to if you want nearby fanatastic shopping or lots of enertainment but very good for a family orientated ocean side vacation. Only small quibble is that given that there is no overnight public car parking available, restaurant users pay $10 but hotel guests pay $20 for overnight.

The staff, room, location and everything! Does not apply. Everything was perfect! We will be going back every 6 weeks or so - and will stay here! That's how great our experience was!

We expected to have a good stay we were very disappointed, we arrived early front desk said they don't have any rooms available so we would have to wait. My party of 6 unloaded our luggage from valet area front desk saw us lounging in lobby with all 6 people & 12 bags of luggage she all the sudden had a room available for us. Upon entering our room it had a strong smell of (mildew) unknown where it originated from it was through out the rm. bathrm door was broken we called the front desk on why we recd a rm that smelled and the door was broken..... no one was sent to fix the problem we were glad we only stayed 1 night would not recomend this hotel for the price we paid you can get a better hotel that does not smell of mildew and furniture is not broken. It was 7pm the pool was closed security yelled at my guests to get out of the pool. The buisn center was closed the whole duration of our stay our guests were bored.

This was our first visit to an Embassy Suites but it won't be our last. Also. this is the first time ever, that I actually got a good night's sleep away from home. The bed and bedding was so comfortable. The pilows the "best". I wouldn't even mind purchasing any of it for my own bedroom. Our suite was beautiful and very comfortable. The staff was more than helpful. We went down to Deerfield Beach with other family members for a wedding. Believe me, this will not be the last time we stay at this hotel. It would be a great place for a quick get away week-end. Or in our case, we could get away and still go and visit family...hhhmmm, or maybe just enjoy being together in a romantic hotel, long walks on the beach.....that sounds even better..LOL ! Happy trails to all!

i have been to fort lauderdale many times, first time at embassy! love it and location. really enjoyed the breakfast every morning. and happy hour everynite was great. i wish the pool was bigger and the hot tub bigger. we loved walking to the fishing pier and restaurants. the concierge was very helpful. the room was great with double balcony and 2 bathrooms was very nice!! a little noisy at nite with all the music playing all nite, and spring break kids talking by the pool all nite, but it still was a wonderful place. we started out at the 5 star harbor beach marriott and did not like that place at all!embassy the best!!

It was near the ocean. It was in need of attention. I expected more from an Embassy.

We were evacuated from the Keys because of Ike and luckily we met a guy before we left that said try this hotel. We were pleasantly suprised, even though it's not the keys the suites were well appointed, and clean. We had an ocean front room and that was great. The best was the open bar at 5:30 and then the breakfast buffet the next morning. I did go to the spa and had a pedicure and that was also nice.So despite best laid plans we made out pretty good at the Embassy Suites.

No room was available upon arriving, after four hours a room was available. They do charge for a rollaway bed which we were not told about, a charge of fifteen dollars a night. This was an addional 105.00 added to the bill. The valet service was rude and obnoxious.

Except for the outrageous price for parking ($20!!), the stay for my wife and I was very nice. We got married across the street on the deck at the beach eight years ago and wanted to go back and have the fun that we had back then. The room was a partial view room, which meant that we were facing south and to see the ocean, we would have to look to our left to see the ocean. We really didn't stay at the hotel for the view, just the nostagia of our wedding night. It is very easy to get to the beach from the pool area. Having a small refrigerator in the room helped too. They have a complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning and they also have an omelette station too. We did not eat there for dinner since their restaurant was closed for a reserved function. That's okay since we ordered out and had Ruby's Pizza delivered to our room. (My wife was too tired to go out to eat after all the fun we had earlier in the day...if you really needed to know that.) If I had to stay there again, I would, but since I live about 25 miles to the north, I don't have to.

Close to the ocean beach, good pool, great room. Burned out light in bathroom, not an ocean view room. Great place for families with small children.

When we arrived and taken to our room, we were unsatisfied. We had reserved a sunset view room with two beds. We were given a room facing a wall with one king bed. tthey told us we could not have another room, check the next day and maybe they could do something. they gave one free night of parking(which was also over priced). After that we just put up with our situation. Durring our stay no one asked if we were satisfied with our accomodations, they did not want to open up a can of worms. PS the room was very outdated and dark. Bad stay!!!!

The first room we had had 2 beds in it. I called down to the reception area and they changed it to a king size bed. The view was a wall though. That night I asked if we could get a room with a view and the woman said they would have to charge me $40 a night more. I said thanks, but no thanks then. On Sunday I mentioned something to a different person at the desk about the view and she said I'll change your room (FOR FREE!) We got top floor, ocean view. WONDERFUL VIEW!!! This hotel is great. The breakfasts were wonderful. They are geared very well for children. Nice that they had umbrellas and lounge chairs right on the beach across the street from the hotel.

Nice rooms with two full bathrooms and two flat screen TVs. Staff was unfriendly, $20.00 a day to park for hotel guests and cook to order breakfast was a joke. This hotel is located in a nice area, it has a beautiful pool area. But the staff was less than friendly. We were located over the 3rd floor maintenance and delivery area on the north side of the building. We were awakened by trash and delivery noised every morning as early as 7am.Parking was the most expensive $20.00 a day for hotel guests and $10.00 for all day non guests. The beach was rocky and good for surfers but not for sun bathing. The beach was very unkept and everything was extra $15.00 for chairs to lay out on the beach and $10.00 for an umbrella, bring your extra cash you will need it!

Excellent breakfast. Far from restaurants. This hotel gets crowded often due to frequent conventions. I would suggest checking to see if there will be a convention during your time of stay. The pool is a bit too small. The rooms are fantastic! Could not ask for better room setup. The service is great.

Great location with beautiful pool area and beach right across a quiet street. Great family accommodations, good business center, helpful staff. We stayed here several weeks ago and liked it so much we came back with family. Complimentary breakfast and free cocktail hour in evening make it pleasant and convenient. Comfortable beds, pleasant suite arrangement of rooms, and beautiful beach area on quiet area yet convenient to everything.

The beach, and the service they give you (umbrella's chase etc). Kids everywhere, family guy's with family's only. Over all it's nice, but the rooms with king sized beds are only on the side. So you have twin beds on all rooms facing the ocean directly.

Location, views, amenities. Nothing really. This hotel was perfect for all of us. That is 8 month old, 5 years old, their mother and I.

Location. Cost of parking. Fabulous area, on the beach with gorgeous pool and happy hour. Clean and comfortable.

The mattress on the king bed was wonderful, extremely clean, friendly. The mattress on the pull out bed. Everyone was very friendly. The hotel was extremely clean and attractive. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful. The housekeeper was very patient with us as it was hard to find a time when there wasn't someone in the room, but she managed to do it! The only thing that needs to be improved is the mattress on the pull out bed.
