The location was fantastic. We were very close to the Metro and were able to walk most times. When we were too tired, we took the shuttle that dropped us at the train as well as the local mall. Everyone was very friendly and answered all our questions about the area. Out trip was mainly to site see and to go to a ball game. I was nervous about getting to the hotel and finding it in a not-so-desirable area but this wasn't the case. We were very comfortable walking around. My son loved the breakfast each morning. There was so much to choose from that we were able to have different things each morning. The room was impecable. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Complimentary breakfast and drinks. A great atmosphere. Great staff. Great food. Very clean. Great place to stay.

Stayed over the 4th of July holiday with 3 elementary school aged children and a toddler and the staff and facility was very accomodating. Was able to get a portable crib for my toddler and they were very fast with the set up. Parking cost is a bit steep but worth the money in the long run. Checkin and checkout was a breeze. The pool was a bit small for the hotel and there was a time where we had to wait in line to get into the pool by waiting for other guests to leave, but thats about it. And of course your can't beat the free breakfasts or happy hour in the evening; and the kids even got to have their shirley temples!

Upon arriving, hotel informed me, electricity would be out for 5 hours over night and until 6 am. I had to leave to catch a flight with a 13 month old at 5 am, meaning I had to get ready in the dark! They were unwilling to refund money or help solve the problem, upgrade room or even discount. Rooms were dirty, staff was unfriendly, and was not in a great part of town

My son wife baby live close by so this hotel had every thing we were looking for. Not one thing.

We stayed Jun 6-9 with 2 children and 2 parents. Great trip. Shuttle to airport runs every 30 min. A separate shuttle runs to Pentagon City Mall/Metro Stop every 30 minutes. Great friendly staff. You can also get to the Crystal City shops and Metro by walking through the Marriott, but the free shuttle is much better! The free breakfast is better than any other free breakfast we've encountered with an exceptionally large selection of items. Rooms were nice and clean. There was a large group of high school students staying during the same time frame and it was very quiet considering the number of people there. The pool is a bit small for the size of hotel, but we didn't go for the pool!

Front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. Several times, they went out of the way to accomodate a request. The shuttle service was a great convenience.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of suite, which included a separate bedroom. There was an additional fee for parking my car overnight which was not included.

There were too many parties going on in hotel rooms. We had to call the front desk about the room next to us because at midnight they were still blasting music and had several people hanging out in the hallway. The front desk said they would send someone up, but that didn't stop the noise, only got rid of the people hanging around. Parties were going on in other rooms too, you'd see 15-20 people going into some rooms. We were very disappointed that a "nice" hotel would allow partying in their rooms and no security whatsoever. DId not like that you had to pay an extra $18/day for parking. The hotel is far enough away from downtown that you shouldn't be charged extra for parking.

Everything was great with the exception that we reserved a Non-smoking room and they still gave us a smoking room instead. And although it isn't their problem, I come from WA state where NO SMOKING is in all public areas- so the lounge was really smelly. And- they tried to recharge us after we paid in advance, but there was no difficulty getting the charge removed. Also- they had a nice shuttle driver that really tried to make us have a good laugh about the crazy traffic, and gave us some directions too. :)

Close to the metro, good clean pool, staff was very nice. Very hard to find, especially at night, parking was too expensive. Close to metro made leaving the car parked for convenience. Good breakfast buffet but the happy hour food was not much. Room was clean but the hotel is older. Rooms were not noise proof so if you have a noisy neighbor, you cannot sleep as well as one might hope.

The hotel has a good location with the metro station just a few blocks away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was small but not crowded although they could use a little less chlorine in the pool. The breakfast was very good and the room service was great. They are also very child friendly, and we will definitely stay there in the future.

Comlimentary happy hour and full breakfast. Nothing. Great suite hotel with complimentary happy hour and full hot breakfast. Bottled water in the room was a nice touch. Location was very good.

I stayed at the Embassy Suites Crystal City with my boyfriend and two adult children. I cannot say enough about this hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 10a.m. (check in is not until 3pm) and they immediately located a room for us that was ready. The front desk staff is one of the friendliest we have encountered and were eager to answer all of our questions throughout the trip. The complimentary cook to order breakfast is fantastic. We especially enjoyed the reception in the afternoon which is also complimentary. Relaxing in the lobby over a cocktail and snacks after a busy day in DC was always enjoyable. I would definetly stay at this hotel in the future!!!!!!!

Location and price. Needs renovation. This Embassy Suites is looking a little long in the tooth. It's well maintained, but dated in appearance.

We reserved 3 rooms together and upon check-in, received 2 near each other and one on a different floor. The next day, they were able to change so we were all together - a bit of an inconvenience but all worked out ok. The hotel is very clean. The rooms are spacious and have 2 tv's,. The pool is small but fine for a family. The breakfast that is included in the room price is fantastic - well worth the extra few dollars you may spend on the room. They have a full buffet with made to order omlettes. We never made it to cocktail hour which was also included. The hotel is located a long walk or a short shuttle ride from the metro stop (Pentagon City). The hotel staff was very accommodating at moving our family around even if it wasn't time for a scheduled shuttle. From the metro, you are a very short distance away from Arlington Cemetary and all of downtown DC. There is some shoppping and a few restaurants (California Pizza Kitchen) at the Pentagon City metro stop. I would definitely stay here anytime I visit DC.

A loose water faucet was fixed that day. They provide a shuttle to the Metro and back. And a much needed cool refreshment was provided when we returned from a long day of site seeing. All in all we had a good stay and would use the Embassy Suites again.

Complimentary made to order omelets. The staff was very friendly. Fee for parking and internet in room was not included in room fee. Good location for WDC sightseeing. Manageable walk, or shuttles to Metro station. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good value for the money.
