This hotel & staff couldn't have been better. Everyone was so helpful, courteous & obliging. The room was always cleaned & the workers very professional & friendly.

Always love the breakfast, cocktail hour and location. Chlorine was strong in the hot tub.

We were looking for a hotel that is close to the museums and family-type attractions in DC, and this hotel was great! Short walk to the metro, mall, and DC sightseeing buses. Staff was friendly, and the Concierge was particularly helpful. Included breakfast was a nice touch. Only complaint is that the pool was very, very murky, as others have noted in these comments. Not to get too graphic, but we were intensely itchy and developed red spots after swimming.

We chose this hotel because of the suites. We were traveling with our grown daughter, and this gave us each the space we needed during our stay.

The television did not work in the original room they give us, so they gave us a different room and 2 free movies. The restaurant had a limited menu. Clean, friendly, customer friendly.

The breakfast was alone worth /night. I rarely had lunch after the breakfast feast they put out. Cocktail hour at night was with nice snacks, pretty good wine and a nice group of people--worth another /night for our family. Restaurant was good for a nice dinner. Good rooms. A little far for us to visit the Smithsonian, etc-- not very near to Metro station. cab ride to washington monument. Would be ideal if you were at a convention.

We enjoyed our stay and found the staff to be very knowledgeable and helpful. Our view from the 12th floor room included the Capital and the Washington monument. Loved the view.

This hotel was really great! They accomidated us in any way they could. The staff was excellent. We arrived early and they let us into the room early. They also gave us breakfast that day too. Their breakfast each day are wonderful and worth paying a little extra to have that in the price of the hotel. As well as the little kitchen in the room, it made it really nice. Would stay again!

central location was ideal to see the sights of DC. DIdn't know in advance about parking car off sight. $35 per night to park the rental car was pretty steep. Great hospitality bar and breakfast was as good as can be expected.

Location was excellent and staff was great.

hotel was clean, conviently located..within walking distance to everything you want to do. The morning breakfasts were included and convenient to start an early day of sightseeing. The rooms are stark but adequate. The only difficulty would be if you have 2 older children who you don't want to share the same pull-out sofa bed. They do not allow rollaways to be brought into the suites.

Loved the complimentary breakfast bar and evening reception.

Very safe location, walking distance to mall and restaurants and great suite for families. This hotel was great, easy walking distance to mall and area restaurants. The room with separate bedroom was a real plus, as were the microwave and small refrigerator and separate sink in the kitchenette.

The check-in clerk asked why we came to Washington and we replied that it was our 43rd anniversary. That evening, we returned to our room and found a bottle of champaign and chocolate covered strawberries. That evening, our TV picture tube failed (a flat screen). A service man came immediately and got it working, and then if failed again and the service man returned with a new flat screen. The location was within walking distance from the mall and the museums. Breakfast was included and one could have a omlette to order or a staggering variety of breakfast foods. The staff was helpful. We were there on a weekend rate. I doubt if I could have afforded the regular rate as Washington, like most cities, is expensive. I would go again, given the same rate

Good facilities/good location. Parking fees. No wireless internet in room. Very good to excellent. We have stayed here before and will do so again.

The location couldn't have been better. I traveled to DC with my 16 year old to see the sites and we were able to walk pretty much everywhere from this hotel. 1 1/2 blocks to Ford Theater and 3 blocks to the Museum of Natural History and the Mall. Made to order breakfast and manager's reception in the evening were wonderful and the service was excellent. Definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. $15 cab ride from Reagan Airport. Rooms were large and perfect for families with basically 2 rooms in one connected by a bathroom.

Great breakfast and nightly manager's reception (free food free drinks) were included. Internet was wired and cost extra. Good amenities and nice spaces, especially for the business traveler.

Superb location! Busses & Metro nearby or you can walk to the Mall if you're energetic enough. Rooms are well appointed and the included buffet/made to order breakfast is a huge bonus in pricey DC. Manager's reception nightly is nice touch but it's like ants at a picnic. Staff is very helpful and when our room was still dirty at check-in they fell over backwards to try and make it right. We'll definitely go back on our next trip to DC.
