I made reservations to stay here on Valentines Day for me and my wife. We save our money and try to do a couple of short getaways a year and were looking forward to a night of relaxation. Then we received a phone call that would change these plans, there was a death in our family. Naturally my first thought was not about the hotel reservations nor did I even think it would be an issue. This happened the night before Valentines Day. I called to cancel my reservation and they said they have a 24hour cancelation policy and there were no exceptions. I couldn’t believe under these circumstances they were still going to charge me for the room. I talked to the manager on duty and he was sympathetic but couldn’t waive the room fee. He gave me the front office manager number so I called her, no answer. I left a message and explained the situation and asked if she could call me. No call. I called again after they had charged me for the room and left another message. I thought the Embassy Suites was a first class hotel but I was wrong. After this experience I will never stay at any of their hotels or affiants again. I hope your Valentines Day was better than mine and god bless.

We have stayed here on and off for the past ten years. We enjoy the location and the abilty to travel to Cincinnati easily. The Hotel has a friendly staff but fewer services each year. The rooms are starting to look worn and the cleanliness is not up to par. The breakfast where atiquate but not like they where five years ago. The Hotel bar is not in service and the pool is too small and crowded.

Staff was accommodating, eager to please and helped me with a problem and orientation for dinner, parking. A little mildew in shower (not bad) but when we discovered the bedside clock was 1 hour behind we were delayed and rushing to get to our dance competing. On site parking underneath the building was more convenient than some we'd stayed at, but wish it was complimentary or cheaper. Valets in front were generous to tell us how/where to park and how to get to local restaurants where we walked. More restaurants nearby that were not all bars/pubs would be nice, no reflection on hotel. AM. Breakfast was good, plentiful and varied, well attended, rapidly re-filled food. The clock set 1 hour behind really messed up our otherwise very pleasant stay, causing my daughter to miss breakfast and us have to rush out in the morning. When I notified management of the issue they were very gracious and comped my parking. I would stay there again and we always check clocks when we first arrive!

I love this hotel. I go every year for a convention and they always treat us well. There are always mobs of women all over the place with this group, but the housekeeping, food service and front desk staffs are always friendly. The free breakfast is huge, with everything you could possible want to eat, including made-to-order omelets and eggs. The evening "manager's reception" has pleasant folks manning the bar and snacks. Even Emmy, the resident parrot in the courtyard, is a welcome sight every year! The rooms are comfortable and clean. The convention center where we have our convention is a short walk across the street and there are a few restaurants nearby. I hope we keep coming here!

We have stayed at this hotel before and would again. Staff is very attentive and quick to respond to requests. The rooms are spacious and we love the seperate sitting area as my husband is an earlier riser than I. He could work on his laptop or just watch TV after enjoying the free hot breakfast in the lobby.

The bed was most comfortable I'd ever slept in. Breakfast was also best hotel breakfast. I left an item and when I called hours after checkout I got three different stories of how to obtain the items. The lobby area of the hotel was breathtaking. After a very friendly welcome and introduction we made our way the outdoor patio and enjoyed cocktails and live music. The evening only got better as the bed was one of the most comfortable I'd slept in. To top off the stay we woke up to the sounds of Emmy the pet bird in the atrium, had a most delicious breakfast, while enjoying wonderful views of the Ohio river and Paul Brown stadium.

I have said at many Embassy, I always pay the extra money for the little things that make a business trip enjoyable. During my stay we had no heat, still chilly in early April. Also the last day we did not have any hot water, so my family had to take cold showers before we got back on the road. But it gets worst! When I checked out, the front desk staff member by the name of A offered me a 10 discount for not having hot water but the man beside me received a 79.50 discount. I asked about the difference and she started yelling at me. I asked for a manager, she said she was the manager. I asked for someone above her, she stated that she was the only one. (okayyyyy) Then she told me I could sign my bill or not she didn't care and started waiting on the next customer. My husband had to go andfind the Assistant General Manager. We have sent him a email and we are waiting for a response. I have never been treated this way at any hotel.

The hotel is in a good location and easy access to downtown and the fwy. However, there was urine on the floor between the toilet and the shower that was there from the time we checked in and was still there when we left 4 days later. Didn't recieve package that was left for me by the bride to be upon arrival (neither did another party guest). The staff would stand at the front desk and talk amongst themselves while your standing there waiting to talk to them. Lastly, they only had 1 computer in the business center and the printer didn't work so couldn't print boarding pass and the kiosk they had for web-checkin/boarding passes wasn't working either. I will say that EVERYTIME we would see housekeeping they always asked if everything was okay and would say hi, etc. They were the only staff members that were friendly. I would not stay at this hotel again, I would try the Mariott across the street the next time.

I was very disappointed about this hotel. There were no towels to dry off with and I had to take a cold shower b/c 20 minutes later the water still wasn't warm. The coke machine on our floor was broken and we had to go out and search for one ourselves. Front desk could have cared less.

I didn't expect much - most of the hotels near downtown Cincinnati were booked and I made a reservation at the last minute. The Embassy Suites in Covington is right across the river from downtown, and you could easily walk to a lot of things or take a short cab ride. Considering that the hotel must have been completely full, it was quiet and breakfast was crowded but well-stocked. The suite was much larger than I expected or needed, but it would have been nice if I had been staying for a few nights.

The Embassy Suites Hotel was very comfortable. The room was hugh. The breakfast was reat, but without having a vehicle, I was subject to having room service as the resturant was open for dinner. The location was perfect, about 10 minutes away from my office.

Easy location, great room we got a suite and didn't expect it great comp. breakfast. Strange way to park and then get up to the lobby but not a biggie.

The location is on the river. I don't like the extra charge for parking and in-room internet. The hotel is very clean and nice. A great way to travel with children since there is extra space in the rooms and large pretty lobby area.
