Date of Stay:

I was only there in the evening. Room was always kept very clean. Staff was always friendly & accommodating. Location to the airport is a plus.

The staff of the hotel (cleaning ladies, breakfast servers, valet parkers) were very attentive and helpful. I was not aware that parking at the hotel was not included in the price and that added substantially to my personal cost. The rooms were spacious and inviting. The bed and blankets were like sleeping on a cloud. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Stayed for the Motorcycle show across the street. Location was excellent. Staff were friendly, helpful and prompt. Parking was reasonable for the Chicago location ($9.00 per night). We have paid much more at other hotels. Made to order omelets were excellent. The other parts of the breakfast were ok, but the potatoes were cold both mornings. Room was clean and comfortable. Rooms were quiet even with the airport nearby. Would absolutely stay here again.

I stayed for the Inkin Lincoln tattoo convention on 3/19-3/22 and the staff was just fine. I got there and checked in a 4:00 am and not one problem at all. The staff were professional and didnt bother anyone unless asked a question. They have an in house bar and resturaunt, but I didnt attend either. The interior itself was clean, neat and the building looked like it had it all together nicely. Not to mention it was a nice hotel for about half the price of the other hotels in the area. I would stay there again for sure.

I have stayed in this hotel twice already over the past month and I must its great for its price. The rooms were very nice and so were the beds/sofas. My room was standard and it still had a 42 inch LCD TV. For the money, its a great deal and has excellent service. Only drawback is that you pay seperate for 24hr parking. It should be complimentary for staying guests.

This place was great! The staff was excellent and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and offered different varieties on different days (and it wasn't only the basic complimentary breakfast you get at some other hotels). The location was close to the interstate (190 - a straight shot to downtown Chicago). Interstate 290 was not far either. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would not only stay here again but I would recommend the Embassy O'Hare to all of my close/business friends. To that person that wrote about the bad experience at this location, maybe they came at the wrong time. Don't be mislead. I could have stayed on Mile in downtown Chicago (as I have previously) but Rosemont is only 15 minutes from downtown (if you are driving). It's worth it. Even if you don't have acar, the El -train station is two blocks and it will take you right into Chicago.

The staff was excellent - very friendly. The room was great - very large. Can walk to movie theater.

hotel is very comfortable and spacious. the captains free drinks 'great and the breakfast buffet 's good . the waiter allowed me to take my leftover food in my room as i did't want to waste it. the duenas midwest assoc. dinner dance was a good place for the occassion. took the train from the hotel to downtown but got to transfer to a shuttle bus because of the repaid tracks. took the cab from downtown back to the hotel. want to stay w/ embassy next time i travel

Stayed for one week in September,2008. We would have left the first day, after being told they would charge an extra $18.00 per day to park your car yourself at the hotel. only they had our money already. There is no warning of such charges in any of their advertisements. The room was OK, but had to ask for lotion and robes, which are suppose to be in the room. One of the days the room was not made up at all. To complain is feutal. The manager is non existent. We have stayed at the S.F. Sofitel, which was very nice. Sofitel should do something about this one before it ruins it reputation around the world

It's a good hotel, with a good location, but it's ridiculous that they charge 10 per day for internet service, and you can't even access it in the lobby. I walked in the cold to a neighboring hotel where, for the cost of a Starbucks drink, I could use internet in the lobby. That is where I will stay next time. Also, I saw no hint of a bed turndown, and my minibar was locked. The food in the restaurant was good, but not as good as it sounded on the menu, and the price for my margarita was outrageous.I liked having the little bakery available off the lobby, and I was amused by the preponderance of French accents. If you are traveling with children, watch out, because they have "adult" channels on the TVs in the rooms.

The minuses: Arrived exhausted after 3hr flight delay to O'Hare. Courtesy bus promised 15 min max. One hr wait later plus cell call to hotel found out coutesy buses are marked with a DIFFERENT hotel name. A few minutes later, bus arrived marked with Emb Suites name, but too many people for bus (about 50 by now - many canceled flights), so couln't get on. Took a cab. Check-in OK (automated check-in station avail but out of service - long line). Room wonderfully large & clean, but bathroom fan didn't work. (Steamy, steamy mirror in am). No mini bar in room - that was OK by us. Went downstairs to (minimal) hotel bar. Ordered beer. A glass in front of each stool. As I started to pour, bartender interrupted (turned out glass was for tips, etc.!) fetched a cold glass for me, then poured the part of my beer already in the tip glass into the "real" glass! Yuk. Restaurant menu looked singularly unappealing so didn't eat there. Room had two TVs. Both analog with curved picture tube. (Antiques!) TV reception quality fair. Parking fees outrageous, (we avoided by not renting a car). The pluses: Bed very good to excellent (a firmer mattress would have been even better). Air conditioner/heating excellent and quiet! Room (an upgraded suite) wonderful and absolutely spotless. Shower worked fine. Dresser with adequate drawer space to unpack suitcases. During mid morning, receptionist volunteered courtesy bus to take us to CTA (a non-busy time of day), which would otherwise have been a fair hike. Courtesy breakfast a real convenience. Food not great but OK and good selection (as tasty as one should expect). Cooked to order omelets probably best fare. Courtesy shuttle on departure took only 9 minutes to airport. Manager's reception nice plus.

The check in should have toldme something the people were not unpleasant but not very outgoing either. They acted like if we wanted to stay that was OK with them. The room was dissapointing due to two factors, the first was a window at the foot of the bed had drapes that did not close all the way and therefore we had a light shinning in all night. The second was fan on the heater was so nosiy that my wife was not able to sleep. Overall we were not very happy with the hotel, I quess you get what you pay for.

Nice suite room, friendly open area off the lobby. Parking fees. Very nice hotel suite rooms, very comfortable and clean, well laid out.

Great staff, clean large rooms, and excellent food with easy access to the el train makes this my favorite stay in Chicago. Stayed in August for a convention and will recommend to all.

I was not terribly impressed with this hotel. The atmosphere felt cold and distant. While the employees were very polite, they seemed to lack warmth and enthusiasm. There wasn't any tourist information available, no phone book in the room, two of our three keys didn't work, even after the front desk "fixed" them. I had read from other guests that there was turndown service with fresh flowers but we did not receive this. On the bright side, the beds were extremely comfortable and it's a good location near the airport and convention center. However, I probably would not stay here again.

Our stay at the Embassy Suite O'Hare was great. The one bedroom suite was spacious, except for the bathroom. It was small but very clean. The free breakfast was very good (especially the omelets); however, they need to improve in the fruit selections and the temperature of the buffet items. Your best bet is to get an omelet. The staff was very helpful. Paying 18/day to park was a little too much especially if you are just going to park and use the metro, which is within 2 blocks of the hotel. Overall, it was convenient and reasonably priced. We would come back.

I really liked this hotel and it was definitely a good value for what I paid. I would definitely stay there again as I was very pleased with the ammenities and the comfort of the room overall.

Great food, attentive staff, clean attractive rooms and appearance, great location. Embassy Rosemont is situated in a great location. Dining, services, and convention center were all very close. Cooked to order breakfast is a bonus. Rooms were big and convenient. Unfortunately room had leftover dirty towels and articles from previous occupants (a first for me). Other than this one minor issue the hotel was great. I would recommend.

We stayed at the Embassy for a convention with our grandson in August. It was an excellent choice for a convention, the staff was very accomodating, friendly, and the food was fabulous. It was a short walk to the blue line and going downtown. It is a very safe enviroment.
