Date of Stay: July, 2008

Our family stayed in this hotel for vacation last year. The location was impressive, considering that it was within a short distance from two malls and various restaurants. Halfway through the week, my daughter found several ants in her suitcase. We called the front desk to complain, but were not helped AT ALL with the problem for two days! (The ants persisted to crawl in our kitchen and bite my children while they were sleeping on the sofa bed.) A manager finally came to our room and told us that the bugs had been coming from the elevator, which was directly next to our room. The manager promised us a nicer suite, but claimed he was unable to get one due to a large family reunion (there were two during our stay). We were eventually moved to a smaller room on the last night of our stay. Other than this disservice, the free breakfast was amazing, as were the free drinks in the afternoon.

Perfect central location- We visited St. Petersburg and North Tampa throughout the trip, and this hotel was the perfect central spot to return to at night. Great manager's reception (happy hour) every day! Beer, wine, well cocktails... doesn't get any better. Friendly staff and the line was never long for a drink. Tasty little appetizers each day too; every day had something different. Beautiful, large pool Very spacious rooms-- almost too much space! Clean, too Delicious, big, breakfasts. Thanks to the big breakfasts I gained a couple pounds on the trip. Van service takes you anywhere in a 3 mile radius for free..and the Westshore mall was across the street, as well at the "famous" International Plaza was only 1/2 mile away.

The quality of the room was nice. Also, the space was an added bonus. The staff didn't seem friendly when I checked in. She was the only one that acted that way. The remainder of the staff was pleasant.

The hotel was perfectly located to reach area attractions-Busch Gardens, Airport, Stadiums, and about 20 minutes from the Beach resorts. Great breakfast [free] and they had a managers reception in the evening with free drinks and snacks. Great value for the money. Clean rooms and staff was friendly. Parking was 5 a night.

Shower did not work, had to change rooms. Walls are very thin, could hear our neighbors through our bedroom wall. The extra money you pay for a balcony and Bay view is not worth it. The balcony was half the size of the bathroom, not worth it. Otherwise, the stay was pleasant and the breakfast is really good.

A good choice at a reasonable rate. you get free shuttle service to and from the airport. Also included is a Manager's reception (Free booze and condiments). You also get a complimentary buffet breakfast. the hotel also has a swimming pool and hottub. Hotel located near 2 shopping malls, several and a variety of eateries and a $ cab ride from downtown. Rooms are comfortable.

Embassy Suites are quickly becoming our hotels of choice as, overall, they have provided us with good accommodation at a good price.Westshore Tampa offers a cruise transfer package - 20 for two to the terminal - which is a complete waste of time. You pay 20 up front then, if you argue enough, they refund you 20 when leaving. They have no actual arrangement with any transportation company, and 20 is just the cost of the cab which you end up paying for anyway!Apart from that glitch, though, an enjoyable stay.Don't bother with the Mall across the street (except for the Chinese restaurant) as the International Mall (hotel shuttle will take you there) is much better. 24-hour Walgreens is just a short walk from the hotel.

This hotel is a solid place to stay. The location is fantastic for getting around the Tampa area, and even has a shopping mall right across the street. The food is great, and as always, Embassy Suites has great, free breakfast. The rooms are clean and have a suite design with lots of room. Hotel staff could have been a little more friendly and helpful with directions, and there is nothing else especially great about the site, but it is a solid place to stay. I would likely stay again.

Free parking and free in-room internet access was much appreciated. The only drawback during my stay was my unfulfilled request for a wakeup call. Almost missed my flight. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Embassy Suite is very comfortabe place to stay when away from your home. Amenities well warranted and the staff was quite pleasant from arrival until checkout. The location is very safe and good, close to shopping and minutes away from the airport and other places of entress. Yes I would always use Embassy Suites as my place rest when on travel.

Their was work going on at the time, but that was excusable. They can use a little updating. Rooms were spacious. Parking garage a plus, no parking fee. The hot breakfast had more than I expected. Nice.

Excellent breakfast buffet, very nice pool and hot tub. Additional parking fees not specified until check-in. Location of pool/hot tub did not provide much privacy. Overall this was an excellent hotel. The rooms and public facilities were extremely clean with upscale amenities. The free breakfast buffet was also excellent and offered a wide selection of meal options. Few drawbacks were the additional cost for parking and the location of the pool/hot tub in front of the hotel lobby entrance, which didn't offer much privacy.

Spacious with 2 televisions. No free Internet, no free parking. The hotel was more than I expected. The only two things I did not like are that there is no free Internet and no free parking ($7 a day).
