The hotel room was very spacious and pretty nice overall. The breakfast was very good but only open till 9 am on weekdays, so we missed it for the first 2 days because we we adjusting to the time difference (came from Australia). The thing that was kind of gross to me was when we first moved into our room we found and empty beer can on the floor next to the couch and then an empty box and a bag of chips in the kitchenette cupboards - I guess the cleaning lady didn't do a very good job. Then I found a long black hair one of the pillows later. The parking was pretty expensive and every time we would come back to the hotel (after 10 pm) we couldn't find a spot in the garage so had to park outside and ever on the street once. I also personally hate paying for the internet at the hotel.

Attention to detail. The welcoming amenities. This hotel was a welcome respite during our multi-site vacation travel. It was wonderful. The arrival reception, room configuration and breakfast were especially nice.

This was one of the best hotels I've had the pleasure to stay. The first room we were assigned had AC problems but within 10 minutes of a call to the front desk a staff person was there to check the problem. Something was broken so the staff moved us to another room down the hall immediately and checked on us several times to be certain everything in our new room was working great. At booking we were a little concerned there might be airline noise being so close to LAX airport but we could not hear any plane noise at all. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. We really enjoyed the cook to order complimentary breakfast each morning and once again the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again if visiting LA. 5 star hotel all the way for a budget friendly price. Thank you Embassy Suites!

In town seeing family over the holidays with three teenagers in tow. The layout of the room with the seperate living room and sleeper sofa worked well for our needs. The hotel has recently been updated with new carpet, paint, bedding etc... and it was nice to have a fresh smelling, clean feeling place to call home for a week. The breakfast that was included in the price was very good. They had a large selection of items to choose from and you could also choose eggs cooked to order or an omelet as well. The only problem with the breakfast (at least for the holidays) were the hours - it ended by 9 AM each morning, which was a bit early as far as the kids were concerened. Also, by the end of the week, you could see the raw nerves of the staff showing through; although I can't say I blame them as they are most certainly used to the business traveller, but the hotel was packed that week with demanding and sometimes rude families with kids. The very best part of the hotel were the beds! My husband and I are used to a king size bed and were worried about being able to sleep on a full/queen, but the mattress was so comfortable that neither one of us moved much durning the night and had some of the best sleep we've had in years. I would love to know how to aquire one of those mattresses! As far as the location goes, it's close to the airport and the freeways, which was fine for what we needed - yet it was quiet and we never heard the traffic or planes.

It was a comfortable stay. It did seem like it has been used for many years.

The breakfast was awesome! Having to pay so much for parking. Love the rotunda placement of the rooms. Location is very convenient to the beach, the airport and the major freeways which carry the traveler in any direction. Breakfast was included and really incredible. Missed the evening social hour which looked as if it was very welcoming. Beds were comfortable. Be prepared for the cost of parking, but know there are lots in the area that can be used for less. Front desk staff were very accommodating and prepared to help with business faxes needing to be sent and received. The business center was adequate. Wireless internet was available for no cost in the lobby area and in the room for about $10 a day. I would be thrilled to get this lodging on any trip to LA.

The complementary cook to order breakfast was a great way to start the day before heading out to LAX to catch our early flight to Hawaii. The shuttle service was very good. Although we arrived really late at night, it was still a comfortable nights rest...and a good package (park, sleep, fly) overall. The price was kind of on the high side, though - but definitely very convenient and comfortable.

This was a very enjoyable stay. I had read the good reviews on here, and I was not disappointed. The room was huge, as should be expected with a suite- one regular tv in bedroom, flat screen in living area. Internet connection was $9.95 for 24 hours- absolutely no problems logging on. Parking was $19 per night with in and out privileges- parking is very close to elevators. The indoor pool and spa were very nice. The complimentary evening reception was nice with drinks and snacks. Complimentary breakfast was great- cooked to order omelets along with all the usual breakfast items. The hotel airport shuttle runs every 10 minutes 24 hours a day- takes about 5 minutes to get to the airport. The room was very quiet- we did not once hear any plane which is interesting considering they fly almost directly overhead- great soundproofing. We have stayed at many different types of hotels over the years, and I must say, that for us, a couple with a toddler, Embassy Suites has been the best.

Location to LAX. Air conditioning did not work. Rooms are a little older and probably time for a remodel. Nice big rooms however.

Parking is a little expensive at $19 a day. I pre-paid and had access to daily in & out parking. My sister slept in the king bedroom, which is very large by itself, and I slept very comfortably on the living room sofa bed. I also liked how all the rooms led out to an indoor courtyard. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We were pleasantly surprized by the amenities of this great little gem so close to the airport. We were on a layover on our way to Hawaii so only stayed one night but the complimentary "happy hour", full breakfast and airport shuttle made it a great bargin.

Separate rooms were great to accommodate those who got up early and those who slept in. Made you pay $18 for parking. Great hotel. Love the separate rooms - perfect for those who like to wake up early while others sleep in. It even had 3 sinks! I definitely recommend this hotel when you're traveling with several people. Only negative, they charge an outrageous $18 a night for parking.

I booked four rooms for family arriving at LAX for a wedding. You can't beat this hotel for service, included breakfast and included cocktail hour. We ate a late dinner at the restaurant inside the hotel and were delighted. The desk staff were quick and pleasant. I really enjoyed this hotel as did the residents of the other 3 rooms. It is a great value. We rode the shuttle to the airport 3 times to pick up various people arriving at different hours. We walked one time. The airport is within walking distance or the shuttle is available about every 15 minutes. The pool is indoors but I think that is due to a lack of space. I will stay again if I have to stay at LAX.

Paid for an exec corner suite that was definitely not located on a corner. in bedroom TV is from 1990. Bell hops were busy staring at our car instead of carrying our bags... their loss on the tip. Front desk would not deliver requested items, i had to go down to the front desk to retrieve them.

The sheets were a little thin. Excellent hotel with a nice sitting room. A nice feeling of space. The master bedroom was lovely with a corner placed king bed. It was nice to have the extra sink in the bedroom. Good lighting.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Having a full breakfast was a treat. The location to the airport was great and the sound barrier in the bedroom blocked most of the airplane noise. The living/sleeping space was comfortable and the in room amenities were appreciated. Would stay again and recommend to others.

It was a nice stay at embassy suites. I didn't like 3 things at this place though: The washbasin was in the bedroom outside the bathroom, the lighting in the room wasn't enough..it seemed pretty dark at sometimes, parking was an additional 20$ per day and internet another 10$ per day....Apart from these everything else was really wonderful, the complimentary breakfast was delicious and had lots of options, the staff was courteous.

Very comfortable and quiet, complimentary snacks in the afternoon and breakfast in the morning. There is a charge for internet and the business center has only 2 computers. There was always a line waiting for them. Beautiful, comfortable, and some nice perks.
