good value for money. Good location. Very good restaurant. Good service

We loved the atrium, and that the rooms all overlook the beautiful landscaping, the free breakfast made to order was also a great touch. Iwould rate it a 4 star hotel. Everything was wonderful. Thank you!

This was a very nice, well appointed hotel. The staff was very helpful and managed the mistakes I couldn't get corrected online. I have food allergies and the food staff went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of.

Attended two Pirates games. Staff was helpful with directions and suggestions for finding a department store close by.

The made-to-order breakfast was great! Loved the suites style - separate living room and bedroom. The room decor was a little dated - but the hotel is scheduled for renovation/updating this year. The hotel's lobby and public areas are very nicely decorated. It features a waterfall and pond with fishes. The hotel has open concept hallways - all the hallways open up to the waterfall area almost like a indoor motel. At first, we were worried that the open concept would mean lots of noise (e.g. hear what's going on in the hallways or downstairs in the lobby/waterfall area). But this wasn't a problem because of the suite setup - we could hear the noise in the living room area, but with the door close, nothing could be heard in the bedroom. The breakfast was great and so was the manager's reception. The room decor was a little dated, but they mentioned that they were renovating and redecorating all the rooms, to be completed at the end of 2009.

We prepaid for this room and it was supposed to be a king bed. We got into our room and it was two doubles. So we asked about it at the front desk and were told that they do not guarantee rooms booked online. This in itself was not a big deal however the girl at the front desk was not very nice. The room was not very clean. The lobby of the hotel was beautiful and the rest of the staff very nice. The shuttle drivers were very friendly.

I have stayed at this site in the past, which I was very satisfied, this time the carpet was not fresh and clean. The blanket in the closet appeared burned, and felt hard, I called for another one and it was just as bad. I have stayed at other Embassey Suites that were more plush and crisp than this site. I was disapointed because at one time this site was better kept. The breakfast Cafe closing at 09:30 on weekdays is not friendly to customers not leaving early a.m. The party on May 9, 2009 was quite inconsiderate of other guest, and it continued until after 2 a.m. seemed mgt. wasn't bothered by it because it continued.

The fish ponds were very cool and I liked having separate bedroom. The room needed a makeover. The atrium and lobby are extremely nice but the rooms are a less nice. The beds were nice and comfy and the bedding was good, but the color scheme in the rooms is a little funky, the wallpaper borders were peeling off and one of the couch cushions was darker than the other ones. The kids loved looking at the fish, riding in the glass elevator, and swimming in the nice warm pool. Free breakfast was pretty good, but the ticket system was a bit of a hassle.

"Overall, a solid choice. My stay was a bit noisy due to a large group of kids (and their parents) on my floor (but not the HS prom downstairs!) and the desk staff seemed a bit frayed at check-in. The large central atrium transmits noise, but you can retreat to your bedroom to escape it. The room furniture does need some updating."

We have stayed in Embassy Suites in different cities and we really liked the one in Pittsburgh. The lobby and dining areas were very comfortable and well staffed. We did find the furniture in the room a bit dated but comfortable. We will stay here again if we need a hotel in Pittsburgh.

I loved the fish pond. This hotel was very easy to find and close to the airport. The fish pond gave a very romantic feel, and the breakfast in the morning was very good. I don't know of any other hotel that has a made to order breakfast.

We visited relatives in the area and really enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. The staff is friendlier than most other hotels.

The embassy suites formula 2 rooms, manager's reception, made-to-order breakfast. The embassy suites formula is always great. Must say, we stayed at three different hotels near the airport, flying into and out of and into and out of Pittsburgh, and this was, by far, the best one!

"we travel every mothers day weekend. This hotel was beautiful!! WE all had a great time and stay. The rooms were nice, and the foggy bar and grill had great food!! "

Airport transportation. Beautiful atmosphere. I truly enjoyed my stay.

The courtyard stream with fish, bridge & lobby area. My child became sick after eating the scrambled eggs & threw up upon returning to our room. A staffer removed my tray when I went for tea. Noisy. Entry was very nice - lobby with fireplace, & beautiful courtyard with stream/fish & bridge. Signs were confusing - no actual restaurant used a bar/grille. Pool had paint-chips & hair/debris throughout. Buffet breakfast ran out of items & while I went for tea, a staffer removed my tray/plate, etc. so I had to go back up through the long lines. Long lines for omelets (20-30 min. waits). Front desk had not entered our extra day extension & someone (staff) kept knocking on our door to check out of the room (at noon & 1:30). Housekeeping stingy in restocking items (tissues). Rooms were very nice, but easily heard people in hallways & adjoining rooms until late into the night.

Atrium is beautiful; Breakfast better than most. Furniture in room islow quality and tired, bed is uncomfortable. I would not stay here again. The Hyatt in Robinson is so much nicer; I feel I was duped since these hotels are classified as comparable. No way.

Happy hour and free breakfast. Beds were hard. This hotel is good, but a bit out of the way. Very pretty hotel from the outside, rooms have a lot to be desired.

Attentive, helpful and friendly staff as well as a good location. Convenient to airport. Complementary shuttle service. Clean rooms. Attentive, helpful and friendly staff. Great price!
