What are your breakfast options?: Breakfast is served from 8:30 am until 9:30 am, we serve full English breakfast and Continental breakfast.
What transport is available to get around?: There is a train to Windermere town train station from London and other destinations, and then there are many buses to take people to the attractions of the Lake District that leave from the train station. It is a 20-minute walk to the lake from Ellerthwaite Lodge, or you can take a bus or taxi. We are 10 minutes walk from Windermere train station.
What can I do nearby?: There are many attractions in the area, the main being the hills and fells popular with walkers and not to mention the many lakes in the area where you can hire boats, etc. There is also a large choice of museums and stately homes open to the public.
Do you have internet?: We do have Wi-Fi connection if you are bringing your own laptop, which is included in the price. We are also next to a library where internet connection is available.
Do you provide parking?: We have our own car park.
