Elite five is a good place to stay. It is situated in Juffair amongst a lot of building construction. So do not expect good views from your apartment. There is a small shopping centre close by with a coffee shop, supermarket etc. The city centre is a not too far. We had a car so driving there was not a problem. The apartments are clean and spacious and comfortable. The shower needed repair. The shower head was broken and the door did not close properly so the bathroom floor became flooded every time we had a shower. The kitchen was well equipped with crockery and cutlery, stove and microwave. Our stay was not very pleasant because of the problems with the booking. We had booked and paid for a triple room, which should have had beds for 3 of us. The room had one queen bed only. When we requested the roll away bed which should have been in the room for our son, we were asked to pay quite a bit extra. Reception staff and management were quite rude in insisting that we pay for something that should have been included. After much argument, the manager eventually gave us a bed at no cost. We thought that that was the end of the problem but we had to go through the same problem 3 times in our short 2 night stay. It left a bad taste and is not what you want to experience on a holiday. There is a distinct lack of communication amongst staff and they obviously try to get as much money out of you as they can.
