Late night desk service was very rude. They always acted like i was trying to rip them off. Always heard staff yelling at guests over the must stupid things. Also had problems with no hot water. Cheap and good location - but it ruined my visit to a great city.

Room was very smelly, bed had blood stains on matress and blankets. Very unclean.

Very good location, friendly people. Issues with hot water for 2 days, bedroom was not 100% cleaned when arrived.

Though this hotel is cheap, the rooms are small and has bad lighting. There is no maid service, fresh towels are left in a bag outside your room daily (if you are out when they are delivering). Parking is not included. The front desk will direct you to park under a library around the block, however parking is underground and secure. Great if you only plan to sleep in the room.

Small rooms, the floor is quite dirty. But bed etc. is clean and thats enough for sleeping. The price is good for that location.

There is no view, no ice machine, and you have no individual temp. control in the rooms.But for the price you have a clean bed, continental breakfast, the staff is pleasant and helpful, and you are close to all of the shopping and action on St. Catherine St.

Nothing to like about. Everything; pot and all sorts of smoke; dirt; stinky smell; no hot water when you needed; more like a closed prison. Imagine a hotel without hot water when you wake up. Me and my wife had to wash all the clothes including shoes luggage since the pot is smoky and stinks so badly, the smell stayed even after we left the place; it's that badly stinky

Very good for the price. Staff were helpful. Location was great - right around the corner from the main Metro station and walking distance to everywhere in Montreal. Would stay again.

Staff were very friendly. I was offered a free upgrade to a Jacuzzi tub due to my length of stay. The continental breakfast could be better. Very close to downtown Montreal. Great friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Definitely recommended!

Very unsafe and shady neighbourhood, rooms uncomfortable. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone unless they are expecting to stay in a hostel.

a good hotel if you are on a budget. nice and bilingual staff, clean and quiet room. everything you expect from a hotel. i especially enjoyed the blow dryer in the bathrooms, really powerful! one drawback only ; even though the whole hotel is non-smoking, 2 ladies staying in the room next to ours kept smoking, and we could smell it from our room...We thought it was kind of gross! They should strengthened their non-smoking policy.

Location. Noise, no fridge in some rooms, close to shady area of town. Location is good but relatively close to shady area of town. The rooms are newly renovated but very small. Beds are new and comfortable. Very bad noise insulation means you can hear everything and everybody at the hotel. Not all rooms have a fridge which may be a convenience expected by budget travelers.

Excellent hotel for the price! Very clean and walking distance from a LOT of clubs, restaurants etc. Parking is a little odd but other than that I'd recommend it; especially for the price for what you get.

its a good hotel to stay,its worth stayin,its a block fron st cathrine street.the only thing i didnt like is that u can hear when someone is using the bathroom u just hear this loud noise. but over all i would stay there again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Continental breakfast was muffins and croissants served by a very cranky lady who made sure you didn't take more than one! The room was small and cold, and there was no convenient parking.
