Efficient, but unhelpful staff. Difficult to enter and exit hotel entrance and parking lot. Need to offer map of immediate area. Patrons stay at thiis hotel for the sports arenas and sporting activities close by, but coming from out of town, have no idea how to find and attend those activities. Needed directions. Pool was full of old, rotting leaves and appeared not to have been cleaned for a very long time.

Needs new curtains so frrom the outside looking at the hotel you would be interested in at least going inside. Lobby is nice and areas around appear clean.

The booking was about $*for one night. Upon arrival we were informed of two required fees: - $5 resort fee - $2 fee for the safe in the room Both of these fees were required regardless of whether we needed the safe or the resort, we needed neither of these services. If these are required fees, they should be included in the cost of the room otherwise the listing on Travelocity is not a true reflection of the cost of the actual room. And since sort by cost is part of the Travelocity search process, this Hotels practice is a dishonest reporting of the cost of doing business with them. These fees added an additional %10 to the cost of the room. I would not recommend doing business with an organization that hides a 10% price differential.

I would definately recommend. The picture is up to date and BELIEVE the other good reviews. My ONLY complaint was that the bar/grill upstairs is only open at certain months of the year but no biggie. Various other eateries are within 1.5 miles of motel. We stayed overnight to board for a cruise the next day. Room are very clean and spacious. The large window/ balconey (you have a sit down balconey on pool side only. Street side balconey narrow)was very clean. Only 30 minutes from Port of Miami. THe continental breakfast was plentiful to hold us till lunch; one less meal to buy and the great price for the room, makes this a MUST!

Really I like the services and the staff if very friendly. The price is not to bad, and the microwave in the room is very good idea. I recommend very good, and when I return in my next vacation with my family, we stay here.

not only would i stay here again, but every time in Miami I will be looking for this place. the rooms are clean the staff is so polite and accommodating... even met a very nice lady from Birmingham, UK at the front desk! and for me personally the coup-de-gras was the toilets are cleaned then sealed, confirming it is hygienically cleaned. THANK GOD! Lol

Had to change rooms twice.Problems with bad cable reception and missing or not working remotes.No info in rooms as to places where to eat in the area.Maybe unavoidable but saw a cockaroach in the room.Got tired of complaining.

I was very disappointed when our room was not cleaned and we call housekeeping only to be told that it would not be because she was tired after working twelve hours.

THis place was great!! We came down for a football game and could NOT have been closer. Legend's is the sports grill on the 9th floor and the veiw was outstanding. We could watch the races at calder race track and watch sports on there 10 foot tv screen. The rooms at the hotel were clean, fresh, and all had a great veiw. Quick note: this place also is a banquet/conference center. We will always book here when we come to town.

This hotel is on a good location. It is next to the stadium. The hotel has been upgraded but it still needs work. The continental bedfast need to be better and the staff in the hotel could be more friendly and greet the guest.

I was on a get-away with my new wife. Stopped in and the Front Desk Staff was commendable in getting our EVERY need. We got a Exe Jacuzzi Suite. Great, right by the pool and very nice large (42" I Think) Plazma TV!! The food was amazing in the "LEGENDS" bar. Lots of Screens so we could watch the Daytona 500 Race on Sunday and fun Karaoke on Friday as well. Lots of places up and down the main street (27th Ave) and the horses were fun to watch at the track next door on Saturday and Sunday Morning while we ate breakfast as well. I loved it and would highly reccomend it. The magemnet in undergoing great changes in personnel and in the ways of teating the guest better. Don't be fooled by the rest of the reviews, this place is a "DIamond In The Rough!" I'll be back!! Thanks, Tom

The hotel had a stench. Their breakfast was terrible, for eg. the bananas were all rotten and had flies around them. And their furnitures are very old and damaged.

1) I slept one hour and found myself on the bare matteress - sticky and dirty - not healty - worst thing - bought Painters tape - taped the sheet down - at least it was clean but did not fit 2) at check in got added ground charges - "These are the hotel charges - Bullcrap" 3) Free Breakfast Mon thru Fri - just cereal and milk - OK - Sat and Sun presented with a unknown bill for $13 after ate food 4) Hair in shower - shower head needs cleaning - sliding glass door dirty - 5) Something GOOD - One side of the building is ringside for the Horse Race Track - very interesting

The hotel was not as close to the beaches as we would have liked.The floors(carpet)in our room was extremly dirty,just needed to be shampood.The room was a good size the staff was very friendly and for the money I paid I was satisfied.Very nice bar on the top floor.

Gym and pool closed too early, hotel had odor of liquor and cigarette smoke. Guests arguing loudly in adjoining room.

This was a horrible experience. We never felt safe in the room!! Oh, and talking about safes - yeah, you had one in your room - it just didn't work!! When we left to go to dinner I had to hide all my valuables in a cubby in the car!! Now lets move on to the beds - they stunk. The minute you lay down, the comforter cover and the fitted (not so fitted!) sheet came off the mattress. Before the night was over, you were directly on the mattress. Ugh. Then comes the shower, so much mold you felt cleaner sleeping in the bed than getting in the shower. My recommendation? Just because your looking for something inexpensive doesn't mean you have to sacrifice cleanliness - DON'T STAY HERE!!
