All Inclusive Elite In addition to the All Inclusive Features you get: accommodations with bathrobes. All meals and house brand drinks at the restaurants of all 4 hotels, including premium menu items such as lobster, jumbo shrimp, and fine steak cuts.(Concessions not included.) Preferred seating in a la carte restaurants. VIP check in. Room Service (choice from special All Inclusive room service menu). Unlimited green fees and tennis court fees at El Cid Golf & Country Club (equipment not included). Caddy is mandatory and it's not included: one per each cart or one per each golfer walking the course. The Golden Zone is the main dining, shopping and entertainment district of Mazatlan, located within walking distance from most hotels like El Cid Resort. This area is privileged with its beautiful beaches and three islands located right in front of the golden sand beaches. This is the best area to enjoy the nightlife of Mazatalan. Other attractions include a Bull Ring, Cathedral, Pino Suarez Market (open market), El Faro (The Lighthouse), Paseo del Centenario (sightseeing), Turtle Hatchery, Stone Island, Deer Island, Space Bowling, La Gran Plaza Mall, Aquarium and a baseball stadium.

While visiting Mazatlan i had an opportunity to experience other peoples culture and learn how they live. When I first arrived at El Cid my room was not as pleasing but I was happy when [...] changed my room and offered complimentary services for dinner.The staff is friendly, and I appreciate that the staff knows how to speak some english.Something that would have made the stay even more pleasurable and that is to keep the pool open longer that 10pm. Oh yeah I cant forget about [...] at the information desk. I love this lady, she was a great source of information regarding good places to see on our visit.Some of the good restaraunts were taco lunas almost like good down home taco's. look forward to visiting Mazatlan againg.Thanks for your hospitality EL CID Morro!!!!!

the hotel is showing its age. Needs refurbishing. Would probably stay at El Cid Beach as it is right next door and a newer facility. Hot water was spotty at best. Probably would not go back to MZT. Beach full of vendors that were pushy.

Room was comfortable and generally met our expectations. A little disorganized on check-in - they didn't unlock the cupboards with kitchenette utensils when we checked in and it took a while to get them to come back and open them. Internet access was limited to a few locations in hotel (at extra cost) - internet access in rooms would be a nice improvement. Nice view from room, but construction just to the north was a little noisy at times. Location was nice - easy access to nearby restaurants. Weather was a little cool all week and pool water was quite chilly - never swam in the pools but did try out the hot tub! Nice beach front area - beach chairs tend to fill up fast! Constantly being approached to attend time-share sales presentations grew tiresome in Mazatlan, including attempts by El Cid to attend their sales presentation. We even got approached at the end of a nice dinner at a nearby restaurant, to pay for our meal, and by our car rental company when renting at the airport. Took a whale watching day trip via the tour desk - but didn't see any whales. An expensive outing - disappointed that they didn't warn us that not many whales were being seen at that time. First time to Mazatlan - liked walking the beach, but the main street in the hotel zone is rather unattractive. Less pretentious than Cabo.

service was great, room nice, shower not so great, but we had a lot of fun!!! would go back in a heartbeat!! lots of pools and the swim up bar was awesome gotta try the sushi restaurant!!! when we were there they kept it a secret and then we found it!!! AMAZING!!

We stayed here after the Publo Bonito, which we loved. The hotel wasn't bad, but the rooms need revamping. I think it reminded me of the 70's. The showers were not enjoyable as the water changed from very hot to very cold quickly! The pool was nice, esp. the pool bar! The breakfast area was also nice! You can't beat the view! The staff were friendly!

The El Moro, although needing some upgrades throughout the property, was quite enjoyable and comfortable. I went as a single and stayed in one of the suites with a view. The room was very comfortable with fridge and stove/oven as extra amenities. The beds are still somewhat stiff even with the foam pads on top of the mattress.....Hot water came with a call to the engineering office. Spent most eating at restaurants nearby. The Cuban restaurant to the north has great mojitos......The housekeeping staff was very thorough in their morning visits. The valet was very attentive. Overall I will go back again and stay at this property!

I had a 1bdr. suite and everything was perfect with the exception of the showers. You can't get any hot water between 12am and 8am and even after that you can't maintain a constant temperature. The service and the rest of my suite were above average and the view was spectacular. You can book a trip to fish with the Aries fleet right at the hotel and they will put you on the big fish. I caught a Dorado a Sailfish and a 340lb. marlin the day that I went out. It was the experience of a lifetime.

I had a 1 bdrm. suite and it was very clean and comfortable. The only problem was the shower which would change temperature constantly and you couldn't get any hot water before 8 am. Service and food was excellent.

"The hotel overall was pretty good, bring your own bedding, all their bedding is very moist from the humidity... beds are stiff. Floors are tile and feel kinda dirty if you are barefoot. Views are awesome from the balconies. Expect to be mobbed by timeshare salespeople in the lobby as you enter.Swimming pools are awesome. Restaurants are awesome. Tour guide company is right at the hotel.Service in general is EXCELLENT. Bring lots of tip money, everywhere you turn expect an upturned palm looking for some compensation"
