What are your breakfast options?: A full breakfast is served to guests from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. It is included with the room, but if a guest has a friend or family member they would like to include, Edith Palmer's Country Inn charges $10.00 per person and $5.00 per child two to 12 years of age.
What transport is available to get around?: If someone prefers not to walk or is unable to do so, there are shuttles to carry people around, both private and public and if they choose to drive.
What can I do nearby?: Entertainment includes special events throughout the year. Just to mention a few, these include Civil War Reenactments, car rallies, motorcycle rallies, camel and ostrich races, an all day 4th of July celebration, etc. Ongoing entertainment can be found nightly in the 1860's saloon and elsewhere throughout the town, including plays and reenactments at the historic Piper's Opera House. Attractions include historic Mansion tours, schools, hosipitals, a jail, 1860's silver mine tours, historic V&T steam locomotive train rides, shopping in civil war era buildings, and eating in Victorian era restaurants, etc. All the things you would expect to find in one of the nation's largest National Historic Landmarks.
