We stayed here 14 months ago and had a much better experience. We stayed 2 nights on this visit - March 15-16, 2009. Our room was at the end of a hall and it was dark. My wife was not comfortable when she went back to the room alone. The rest of the hallway was well lit, but the end 2 rooms weren't. The room was clean in the middle, but needed attention in the corners, etc. There were small ants in the bathroom, not numerous, but one is too many. My wifre could always find a couple. The carpet was dark and she couldn't tell if the ants were anywhere else. We have come to expect a hair dryer, ironing board, and iron in the room. Not the case here. Our room only had one towel, we asked and got a second. We didn't realize there wasn't a bath mat until my wife went to take a shower.

Shower tall needed repair and room needed repainted. Vents were covered with dust and dirt and could smell cigerett smoke when air came on. Bathroom sink would backup sometimes. Would not stay again.

We paid a little over * for the weekend and had a great time. Only one elevator was working and you felt like you were going to fall out of it, when the doors open the elevator bounces violently. Also, we had NO hot water in our room at all the entire weekend. Good for somebody on a budget, but we will NOT be going back.

I stayed in July 08. when i walked into my room i was baffled to see that my room they gave me was being used as a construction site!!! NO JOKE!! There was piant on the carpet, big maitenance trash ,big bukets of water, no beds, pieces of wood with nails, broken tv, black marks on the wall & cleaning supplies everywhere!!! so after calling front desk to come up to see what i have just seen i wait for 30min.!! and no one came up to see or apologize or anything so carring all my luggage i had to go back down stairs , with only one working elevator, and it really felt like the thing was bout to break on me!!! i was really scared!! so i asked the lady at the front desk that i spoke to when i called & she tells me they will have to move me!! but 1st they needed to finds a room, so i had to wait another hour!! untill they found one.. witch didnt look much diffrent from the 1st one.. it was VERY dirty, had a bad to smell bathroom looked like it hadent been clean.. it took them a while for them to clean it but i also brought my towels from home to use and when the cleaning lady came to clean my room she took my towels!!!!! BOTTOM LINE DONT STAY THERE!!!

The hotel wing we stayed in was somewhat outdated. Not sure if other rooms had these amenities, but ours lacked: * Mini Fridge * DVD Player (as tv was really small) * Possibly even a microwave. * Not sure about internet capability, as I didn't have my laptop with me. This was my second time to the Laughlin River Run and first & last time here at this hotel. For the price we paid, we should have had a nicer room with more updated amenities. We will stay at Harrah's, where we stayed the first time, even it it's not in the center of the action.

the outside of the hotel looks a tad outdated but the inside was suprisingly nice. the front lobby gal was not as nice as she could've been but knowledgeable when asked questions regarding the hotel. the room was huge and the jacuzzi tub was too small for my 6'2 200lb husband but perfect for my 5'3 130lb frame. endless hot water was nice and it had strong pressure too. the room view was nice of the river and i liked how the hotels were connected from a walk way that spanned the river. disapointed by "room service" which consisted of only choices from muffins, bagels, juice, and coffee only served between breakfast time. we decided to try it only to find out their only delivery person had called in sick, they had no backup employees to help, and they told me to pick it up if i wanted to order. their "honor bar" was maintained by two liters of water labled with the hotel name. we received the best service at the gift shop. even though the items looked like they were in its prime in the 70's, the two female employees were wonderful. they made great conversation and were funny too. i liked them so much i supported them by purchasing items i would normally not care for. i would stay here again, spending an extra bucks for a bigger room was well worth it. if you do make reservations here, eat at the colorado belle's (next door, a skip away owned by the same folks) captains buffet. we ate there sunday for approx $13 per person and it had a fabulous selection. i hear its even better on friday nights :)

Don't Stay Here! I just returned from a stay at the Edgewater Hotel and Casino and I was very upset with there hotel. First, the elevator was broken for three days before Thanksgiving (the whole time we were there) which at there three o'clock check in created a line to go to your room. Second, we couldn't check into our rooms until 3:00pm when the valet attended told us the hotel was 1/2 full before trying to check in (we tried checking in at 1:00). Third, there was HAIR in our (my fiancé and I) bathroom (the tub and counter was dirty with soap scum) which we called about and they told us that it would be 2 hours before it would be cleaned because the housekeeper was working at the Aquarius Hotel and Casino part time and would not return until then. Fourth, there was MOLD in the bathroom covering the top of the walls like it was crown molding, including a nice ring of mold around the shower enclosure. Fifth, there only remedy was to move me to another room that has not been updated since there opening back in the stone ages. They should have never rented this room out but to a blind man. This Hotel and Casino has had it’s glory days which are long gone and dead! Stay away; do not rent here at all! Gambling is O.K.

Overall the room was adequate. There was, however, no bathtub only a shower. The extra that we paid for a river view was wasted money because the high window did not allow us to sit and look out at the river. It could only be seen when standing, plus the outside of the window was very dirty obstructing our view. There were ants in the window sill, an earwig in the bathrooom and the bathroom drain was corroded and needing replacement. the television set was very small. The coffee was instant and was not good. On the positive side, the water was hot and had lots of pressure in the shower. The room was comfortable and the beds were also. I definitely would shop elsewhere and pay more if necessary to get a better room.

No other hotel parking in Laughlin can compare to the Edgewater/Colorado Belle. We have been staying at the Edgewater for almost 15 years because the hotel is always clean, staff is always very accomodating, and the available boat parking is the best! Other hotels will charge $15 a day for their off-site parking and you have to walk to the hotel. Edgewater provides the upper lot (with security 24/7) AND provides a free shuttle. ABSOLUTELY BEST HOTEL IN LAUGHLIN.

Older property. I have stayed here before but probably the last time. New owners have really changed things in the casino operations. Good restaurants for the money. Only worth staying here if you are sure you can get a River veiw room.

The room was small, but clean. The bed was comfortable. The TV was small, and there wasn't a refrigerator. The hotel staff was friendly. Parking was convinient. There were several resteraunts in the hotel/casino, but only one was open late at night. The food was good, and moderately priced. The casino portion of the hotel had the usual slots and table games, but the poker room was closed down.

"Room was a good size but everything in it showed wear. Bathroom counter stained, carpet with worn spots, sheets thin, blanket had worn areas. Housekeeping starts vacuuming hallways and cleaning rooms by 8am so don't count on sleeping in. Walls thin. Overall appearance was old and worn. Food was average as was the buffet price. Nothing spectacular to brag about."

Everythin was very average. The Hickory Pit restaurant is nice but the other dining choices were ordinary. Decent room and service pleasant. The sports book is a good size and plenty machines to choose from. Good deal for the price
