Home ComfortsThe apartment was clean and had all convienences you would expect at home, (although the dishwaser was broken as was the sofa bed). I had some trouble with the TV remote but this was solved follwoing a call to the emergency number. It was located in the heart of the Student Accomodation area & did have shops & eating establishments near by. If I was to use this again I would take along my own towels (as I prefer a bath sheet) and toilet paper (which was not provided).

Really excellent apartment! Very comfortable bed (with memory foam mattress), excellent location (near Cambridge railway station and Mill Road shops), excellent customer service and good facilities. My only complaint is that I couldn't access the wireless broadband and it would have been helpful to have had more detailed instructions about this and other equipment in the apartment.

We have mixed reviews about our stay, some good and some bad comments to share. First impressions were that the apartment was clean (the carpets are clean, just shampooed, the furniture new and modern....) but upon closer inspection there was a general lack of attention to detail e.g. a very dusty headboard, some stains on the top of the douvet. The dish washer is on its last legs and plates etc had to be washed twice.Perhaps the most disappointing thing, (which could so easily have been avoided by the owner) was that the welcome pack contained a single serving pot of jam that was already opened and half eaten and a box of cereals we were also already opened and half eaten! In the details advertised the apartment states that there are two double beds, (one a fold out settee in the living room), this was the case but the owner did not provide douvet covers, sheets or pillow slips for this second bed. So to anyone else who wants to stay, make sure you specifically ask for a second set of sheets etc. Finally, and this is something that's simply down to the fact that the apartment is situated on Devonshire Road at the bottom, and facing, the busy cycle & footpath for the station; Its busy and to gain any privacy the blinds have to be closed all the time. Unfortunately we also experienced two gents trying to sell a car on the front doorstep - a rather loud discussion ensued for 30 mins!Overall - just average. A shame.

Well presented and furnished one-bedroomed flat. Plenty of room and good range of entertainment facilities (TV, DVD, etc.). Didn't find the advertised Internet access point.Breakfast provided was basic and a little skimpy - yogurts or fruit would have been welcome on top of the provided small packet of cereals, bread, butter and jam pats.

Had trouble getting the key. Instructions were not really supplied. A pin code was emailed but no information on what to look for or where to find the key.Nevertheless it was a really nice apartment when we did eventually get access.

Quite a good location about 25 mins walk into town centre and close to rail station. Breakfast selection was a bit limited but plenty of tea, coffee, milk and bread. Apartment was nicely furnished, but there were a few cobwebs and some of the fittings let it down (e.g. fridge door needs replacing and the towel holder kept falling off the wall.)Main problem was that the owner had not contacted us with the key safe code beforehand and we had difficulty getting hold of them on the day. Also, note that the door to the aparment is on Devonshire Road not Ravensworth Gardens and it's No.66. This information is not provided by the owner! You have to get into the apartment first to get the key fob for the garage before you can park the car and you need the key fob to get the car out of the garage too.

The apartment was clean and tidy The Owner met us at the apartment at the stated time, she was charming and very friendly We have already recommended the apartment to colleagues that we met up with on the day and have told them that the apartment is easy walking distance from the train station, which was a bonus to us because you couldn't even hear a train Joanne Sanderson

The front door was difficult to find as it is actually on Devonshire Road and not in Ravensworth Gardens - this may have been in the information I received but I forgot to take it with me! Very pleasant apartment with OK fittings.

Car parking felt very secure, although a bit of a trek from the appartment with all your bags! We had a fabulous wedding to attend at Trinity College and the next opportunity we have to visit Cambridge, we would definately choose to stay at the Eden Apartment again. With a young child it was very convenient to have a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and spacious lounge rather than staying in a cramped hotel room. Great base for a stay in Cambridge, Thank you.

Very nice apartment. Unfortunately there was no hot water and i had to boil kettles to have a bath and do the washing up. Not exactly what you need after a day walking around Cambridge. Also the bin in the bathroom had not been emptied prior to my arrival.

We stayed one night at Hotel Eden and found it to be a very comfortable stay. We arrived at 8pm to find the apartment located only 10min walk away from the train station. This was very convenient if you don't have a car. The location of the hotel is located only walking distance from all attractions and transport. Only problem we had on arrival was the number was not stated on the address provided so we got a little lost.We arrived to meet a lovely lady who showed us around the apartment before leaving us to do our own thing. Only a few minor problems. The brochures in the appartment need to be updated as they date back from 2006. The sofa bed is very springy and the head end is lower than your feet so it makes it a little uncomfortable, nothing that can't be fixed with a few extra pillows. The recommendations given for dinner and going out were not good at all but other than that our stay was quite nice. Breakfast included a continental breakfast with 4 sml pack of assorted cereal and a small milk with a half a loaf of bread. Coffee and tea provided. Overall I would definately recommend this appartment if you are happy to do your own thing. The appartment and furniture is very new and very clean. I would recommend it for a long stay and short stay.We very much loved Cambridge and staying at Hotel Eden. Thank you for your hospitality.

not what I expectedThere are just a couple of things I don´t think really fit with the title luxury apartment. Before arriving we were told thesofa bed was broken, and it could only be used as a sofa, but noone told us that the matress would be in the living room with us for the whole of our stay. Also on arriving we discovered that the breakfast to be provided every day had converted to breakfast provided on the first day, and it consisted on bread that was passed its best before date by over a week. The rest was mainly ok.
