When we arrived at the hotel our reaction was what are we staying in! The pictures shown on the website were nothing like the actual place. The place looked run down. Right beside the hotel there is a mexican bar, they started partying late in the evening and partyed all night. Lots of loud noise and music, people yelling and screaming. This made it hard to get any sleep! We will not be staying there again. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nothing this is a type of hotel that would charge by the hour. Everything, bad location, view, and area. Horrible.

The Hotel was clean, front desk clerk was very nice and rooms were larger than expected and the beds were quite comfortable. The WI FI worked great. I would definately stay here again with no concerns.

The carpet was stained and the shelving was particle board that had clearly been wet and had swollen to twice its normal size. One staff member was very kind but the rest, (The owners I suspect) were not at all. There is a very very loud Mexican Restaraunt in the parking lot...it appears to be more of a bar than a place to eat...very loud and loud car stereos cruizing the parking lot. Was not enjoyable place to stay.

Location was good and easy access to Charleston. Good place to stay location wise and for a family budget excellent.

Stayed October 23-25. Not a single place to hang clothing, not even a towel rack, infact I didn't even have a toilet paper roll holder. No irons or ironing boards. Phone didn' t work. Wireless internet was not working. The beds WERE comfortable and I slept well. A/C & heater unit worked well. The location is convenient to most areas. Tolerable place, but just not for me. Would not recommend for business travel.

I was extremely disappointed by this hotel. The bathroom was filthy and in disrepair. There was pubic hair in the tub and on the toilet. There were no towel bars, no toilet paper holders and no place to hang your clothes up. The room smelled. The carpet was crunchy and sticky (we didn't take our shoes off). We had to have the sheets changed (this actually was a bright spot, the night manager was prompt in bringing new sheets and changing the bed). We went out and bought cleaners and febreeze. The continental breakfast is nonexisistent...they do NOT have one...keep that in mind. Suffice it to say that if you don't mind cleaning your own room, you like to walk around in the room with your shoes on, and you enjoy going out and buying blankets....this may be the place for you. If not....pay a little extra and book another hotel.

Nothing. This hotel was horrible, it was leaning, paint was peeling and the rooms were nasty. The location was horrible. There are roaches in the rooms we stayed for about an hour and then we went to another hotel.

We went tothis hotel on Aug. 12, 2008. It was the worst mess I have ever seen. First of all the location was terrible, the smell from the paper plant smelled like garbage. The guy from the desk couldn't get any of the keys to work so we could see the rooms. The doors were stuck, like they hadn't been opened for a long time. It took him 3 keys to get into the room. The rooms were dirty. The commodes and tubs were filthy, the furniture was torn. We couldn't even stay here. We went to the another hotel in N. Charleston. It was so nice there. The guy at the front desk was friendly, but they have no business it seems, and they aren't going to get any the way things are. There were pigeons all over the parking lot too. Yuck!!!!

There was no ice bucket in the the romm, the remote was missing for the room, the room key did not work. They had to come in to the room the first night and change the lock then we could not get into the room the second night. There was no bath mat to put on the floor. The location was very bad and night culb for kids was on the same ground and it was noisy at night.

Near the cruise port. Nasty and dirtybath room wall. Low class, would not recommend for anyone. It is in a bad neighborhood. It needs a lot of work to bring it up to a livable standard.

This motel is run by a very nice family, but unfortunately, the rooms are unsanitary. The bathroom was in the same condition as a frat boy's dorm bathroom. There were pubic hairs on the shower walls, and garbage beneath the bed. We were afraid to step on the floor with our bare feet. Also, it neighbors a rowdy karaoke bar full of shady characters. Spend the extra $$ bucks and stay at a Days Inn.

It is in a undesireable, dangerous pcorner of the north side. I took the motel because I had to make last minute arrangements for Charleston for the 4th of July weekend. I walked in, looked at the rrom, walked to the desk, gve them my key and drove off.

Nasty. Hair all over the bathroom. Stinks. Dangerous. This is a scary place to stay. They have to unlock the door for you to enter the lobby even in midday. I didn't feel that it was clean enough for me to take my shoes off. The picture on Priceline doesn't represent the foulness of the property.

Remote heat and air. Did not have continental breakfast as stated. The cable was exposed. Did not have microwave, or contintal breakfast as was stated. The toilet was hard to flush. Tile was missing above toilet. The door was hard to open, paint was coming off the bar for hanging up clothes.

Big room and twin double beds. Local bus stopped out front. It is in a rough area of Charleston. No coffee making. It is a big old place run well by the staff. The woman was happy to give me an upstairs room and gave me bus info stuff she had. I am a very clean person and don't smoke and I think she sensed that and trusted me.
