Hotel was not what I expected. Although location was good for what I needed, it was an overpriced hotel which was greatly in need of upgrades. The room we were given was not ready when we arrived an hour after check in and the continental breakfast ran out of coffee a half hour prior to the ending time.

Bed was comfortable. The carpets were spongy feeling, like they needed a good cleaning. It was not worth the money and I would not go back I could have stand in nicer, cleaner place.

We only stayed here because it was the only room available in the area. I realize it is the height of the travel season in New England, but raising the rates at this hotel is a joke. Try cleaning the rooms or fixing things that are broken with some of the extra money that you steal from people who have to stay here because it was the only room left.

Kind staffs, free breakfast, spa, fitness and pool. It has to be maintained with more repairs about all equipments and rooms. There is space, basically equipments for comforts for all types of travelers in this hotel. Just the maintenance and repair are really needed. Worn and destroyed carpet on the floor, not very clean walls in spa and swimming pool, the dirty window in the room, etc.; those have to be more taken care of. Thanks.

First, I noticed a red spider-mite crawling on the bathroom wall. Next, I noticed smudges on the wall above the bed - as if someone had thrown mudballs, large "spit-wads," or a goey substance on the wall. The carpet felt greasy. I did not want to touch it with my bare feet. I made sure the bedspread was off the bed so I would not breathe in the dirt that possibly was on it. Also, the bill was $* +tax and not around $*. Apparently, there were many people in town, so rooms were at a premium. We will never go back to that hotel even if we are in the area.

The room was clean and well maintained, the setting was beuatiful (birds singing in the trees off the balconey). The staff was very helpful whenever we asked for anything. I would definitely stay there again.

Replace the carpet in the hall way, because it's filthy, and smelly. The faucet in the bathroom keep on running, and the whole place smell like cigarette astray. This hotel is rated one star due to it filthy hallway and smelly carpet, but the good thing about this hotel is that they allowed pet.

"The place smelled like urine. The room would have been 5-star 30 years ago when built. But since they have not modernized, upgraded or (I believe) washed anything since, the place is not fit for a dog. There was dry urine on the toilet seat, the coffee-maker had something black growing in it , and every piece of furniture, blanket and towel had some type of stain on it. The back, sliding door would not close properly. Every item in the room looked 'greasy' and you just did not want to touch anything. Not recommended for any living creature."

Price, location. Did not feel safe do to adjoining room door and sliding glass door was not secure. Mold in bathroom. It did what I needed a place to stay. Would return. Exercise room was very barebones.

The Econo Lodge was comfortable and the rooms were clean. This hotel was located in the midst of everything such as the bowling alley, great shopping, restaurants, etc. It was right off the interstate so that was easy to access.

February, 2008
It is what you expect for the price. Room was non-smoking but had a stuffy smell. Good location. It is what you expect for the star level. Nothing fancy but a good place to crash for the night.
