An excellent deal for the price. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly, attentive and accommodating. I have stayed there on two different occasions while looking at and applying to graduate school, they have been consistently good. The internet access is not great so it may not be ideal for business and their accommodations would not be considered luxury. However, if you simply need a place to spend the night, I highly recommend the Econo Lodge.

The motel was surprisingly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The lobby was very nice and the staff friendly. As for the room; very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice with marble tile and was also very clean. My friend and I were both pleasantly surprised and pleased.

rooms were dirty and smelled terrible! a dump of a hotel at a midrange price.

Cheap hotel and basic amenities but they are customer service oriented.

Relatively clean rooms and a very nice lobby. Well lit. Carpeting was a bit rough, looked overused. Excellent hotel for the price. No frills, but warm, well lit, and safe. It is extremely close to I-95 and there are several chain restaurants within minutes of the hotel.

This hotel was just fine, nothing special but a cheap place to sleep for a night if you need to be in New Haven. The internet was weird and did not work very well - they give you a router type thing instead of just providing wifi. One of ours did not work, and they said they had no more. Breakfast was actually decent, beds were comfortable and the shower was good, though mounted very very low! Towels and sheets seemed slightly dirty...

Breakfast was ok. Outdated, poorly maintained, if my wife had been with me she would not have stayed here. Outdated, poorly maintained, if my wife had been with me she would have refused to stay here. This was a typical example of foreign owners who are running this hotel into the ground with no intent to update, improve or even maintain the property.

Not a vacation spot but definitly great for a basic business trip. Clean, quiet, TV actually works, comfortable bed and a very reasonable price. I'm a bargain hunter when I travel which on occasion has landed me in a few flea bags. This was definitly not a flea bag.

They were helpful with getting Internet access quickly, even though it was late at night. The water pressure and temperature varied from moment to moment. It is fairly well lit. The rooms open onto an open-air balcony instead of an interior hallway (ie it was cold!). The heater worked only moderately well and the room smelled a little. Overall it was a decent place, just don't expect anything fancy.

Staff is unfriendly and hightly unprofessional. Definately do not get trained with the "guest is always right" mentality. Will never stay here again!

Convenient to interstate and New Haven. Staff helpful. Breakfast adequate. Room was clean but tired and worn. Lobby has been updated and breakfast was fine. Room was worn (melted lampshade, missing light bulb, sagging drapes, stained wallpaper) but was clean and too warm. It took me a while to figure out how to lower the heat level. It served the purpose and many complaints from former reviews had been addressed. For a fun family vacation or an upscale business trip. But a place to sleep fine.

This hotel is a bit run down. It's in an area I wouldn't consider all that safe, but the police deptartment is right across the street. It was generally quiet there but we felt somewhat unsafe in that area. The lobby of the hotel has recently been remodeled and looks fantastic, but the rooms are pretty basic. The lobby counter is protected by a glass pane that is hard to communicate through, which is obviously for the security of the staff there. The free internet is not wireless but is provided via a free kit you have to request that pipes the internet through the power lines to a router box you use to connect to your PC. This was okay, but a bit slow.

It was close to the college we were looking at for our daughter. Floors were soft, anyone could come into your area, lockes to room were poor. It was a place to sleep.

If yer lookin to stay for just a night or two and wont be spending much time, its pretty good.

There was complimentary water & a snack upon arrival. Pillows were awful and comforter was stained & had burn holes. This hotel was good in a pinch. Other hotels were full in the area and it sufficed. Hotel staff didn't know the area well. We asked for a Wal-Mart or Target and they said there wasn't one low and behold we found a Wal-Mart a few blocks away. Same thing with McDonalds. The staff was friendly, just not from the area apparently.

Nice lobby. Entry ways need updating. A mixed bag, but a decent price.

The free breakfast was superb. Hallways smelled from urine, needed to be shampooed. It was over rated, but personnel were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable, and the room although it needed some repair, was clean.

The price was great. It was dirty and smelled bad. Its location was nice, but we did not get the type of room we reserved, the room was dirty and smelled bad.

Location was good. Really nasty room. Smelled bad. Stuff didn't work. This hotel was horrible. I don't mind staying in a dive, but I expect a chain hotel to have little better standards than that. Room smelled horrible when I entered it, the bathroom door didn't shut properly. Random cigarette burns in the curtains and lampshades and on the bed. Burns in the floor from the iron - Who does that?
