A good place to sleep, not a resort hotel.
Date of Stay:

Location. I was charged more than the,drive-in prices; I looked at other locations nicer/cheaper. This hotel is a pass-through trucker or one nighters. If I stayed a week as I did. I also looked at real nice places a mile or so away. I would like an adjustment.

This hotel was the worst in my experience. Service is non-existant. Security doesn't exist. Our doors all showed signes of forced entry. Anonymous phone calls came in late at night requesting meetings to watch porn. We had to disconnect the phones. Our rooms were moldy and smelled. The breakfast consisted only of small muffins and coffee. There were no microwaves or refrigerators in the room. The pool wasnot useable and the water was cold. The air conditioning didn't work and the staff was uncaring and surly. The hotel is in a rough area so security should be paramount. It wasn't. Stay away from this hotel.

There was a wind storm and the electricity went out, so we had shower and pack in the dark.It was very difficult attempting to shower in the dark, and get dressed, since our goal was to be on the road by 5:45 am. We called to see if the front desk had any flashlights, but they only had one. For emergency's the hotel should have extras on hand to lend out to guests. I know it was a fluke, but we spent the day not feeling too clean, and left w our hair wet and hoping we didn't leave anything in the still dark room as we packed in the dark.

The location was easy to find. Poor continental breakfast. Location was good, easy to locate. Room tidy and comfortable. No extras at all, just count on the bare basics. Continintal breakfast is toast, coffe, juice and day old small muffins.

Econo Lodge Tucson: Bathroom dirty/mildew/dirt, room smelled, office staff neutral (not rude, not friendly).

The econolodge was not the best hotel I've ever stayed at. We only stayed for about 8 hours and didn't take advantage of the amenities. It served it's purpose.

Front desk was friendly andcourteous noise all night long The city needs to clean up this neighborhood. Lots of homeless people.

They don't have a hot tub, which was one of the main reasons I reserved there! The employee at the counter was a mess, disorganized, sent another couple to our room the same day we got there.

The clerk was friendly when we could understand her. The door at one time had been broken into, toilet didn't flush right, horrible neighborhood, towels too thin. This lodge was not a pleasure to stay at. We worried about our car being stolen all not long. They advertise a Continental breakfast which was a muffin and juice. The breeze-ways were filthy. Our room at one time had been broken and the security lock on the inside wasn't repaired right. The bathroom had busted and cracked tiles all along the tub fixtures and the toilet would barely flush. We had a hard time understanding the clerk who could barely speak English. We will never stay at this Econo Lodge again.

Leaving. It was filthy. Don't stay here. The room was very run down looking and the shower was absolutely filthy. The linens were clean but the moment I turned out the lights to go asleep I felt as if things were crawling all over me and I could not fall asleep for ages. The staff was relatively friendly but that's of no use when you're room is a dump. I'm pretty easy going when it comes to hotel rooms but I draw the line at filth.

It met our budget needs. It was in the middle of the Ghetto and felt unsafe. I would only stay here again if I was desperate and poor like last weekend. The staff was very helpful and friendly, but the neighborhood was a bit scary.

Very clean and non smoking hotel. Transportation to city expensive. Fabulous design, quiet, cleans.

King bed paid for queen. No clock, phone, hard bed. The room was big, they upgraded from a queen bed to a king bed, but there was no alarm clock or phone and the place needed of being remodeled badly. There were no places to park because they were repaving the parking lot. They should've used the money to fix up the hotel better instead of the parking lot. Good place to stay if it is a one night stay! Breakfast was blueberry muffins!

Location was very convenient and breakfast was a surprising amenity. The room was clean, but everything had been used a lot.

There were no bugs. The pillows were a 1/4" thick. Due to the bad neighborhood the hotel is located in, we decided to see the room before we checked in to make sure it was clean. There was a spilled soda on the AC/heating unit that was never wiped up. The carpet was just laid in the room after being cut. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless there was absolutely no where else to stay.

Easy access of the interstate. Doors slamming all night and loud cars. Desk help was very friendly and helpful when we needed another room. There were bugs on the floor of the hotel rooms. Loud cars and slamming doors all night long kept from getting a good night sleep. There was only 1 close restaurant other than MC`s and places like that to eat.
Date of Stay:
June, 2007
The hotel was dirty, and poorly kept. There was soap scum on the sink, puddles on the floor of the bathroom. There were also bugs. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, the pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. The TV did not work, the continental breakfast consisted of muffins and juice, which tasted terrible. This place is awful, I would not recommend staying here.
Date of Stay:
June, 2007
Nothing. Unsafe, unsanitary, unfit for kids! I was very unsatisfied, I checked out of the hotel within 1 hour of checking in.
Date of Stay:
May, 2007
Not much. Loud people. Staff did nothing about it. Hotel is very budget/economy. Not close to downtown. Rooms surround a pool area where a bunch of idiots decided that swimming and screaming at 7am was a good idea.
