Reservations were for a non-smoking room, but room smelled like an ash-tray. Room had a sign that stated that it was non-smoking and serviced as such, but it obviously was a smoking room and they just tried to present it as non-smoking. It also had an ash-tray in it. Additionally, condition of room was poor, with towel bracket falling out of wall, toilet water running, etc. Old and needed remodeling. Had a new granite vanity, but remainder of room needed updating. Comforters, carpet, and funiture old and needs updating. Continental breakfast was very poor and low-budget. Staff didn't try hard to accomodate and very lazy. Booked room 5 months in advance and was very dissapointed for the price. Would not stay there again. Upon check out, clerk didn't ask how my stay was, so I'm sure they didn't want to know or didn't care.

We enjoyed our stay at the Econo Lodge & Suites.

Stayed one night recently, not my best motel experience. Check-in clerk was not exactly rude, but definitely gave the impression she would rather be elsewhere. The room was not the greatest: the in-room fridge was not cold, there was paper peeling off the walls and some of the lamps did not work. Also, the in-room literature (a restaurant delivery menu and a motel comment card) looked to have been there for quite a while; they were pretty crumpled, and the comment card had something like grape jelly on it. The bathroom was another story. The shower was mildewed, and the hot water took forever. At 2 am I was awakened by sounds of a loud argument in the parking lot, police were called. Apparently the motel has no security staff to speak of. The continental breakfast was good, and the free access to an internet enabled computer was nice. When we left the next morning we were greeted by an irriatable housekeeper who demanded to know what room we were checking out of.

We have stayed here before because of proximity to the airport. But this time, the aircon was anemic, room was stifling (July '08). Beds were fair, the pool was freezing. The printer in the office was broken, so no receipt was available. Next time, I'll be looking around for something better, even if it costs a few more more bux. There are other choices near the airport.

i felt that just because it was a low price room through orbitz, the room did not recieve the attention that the rest did. there was garbage in a drawer, the bathroom walls and shower were filthy, the toilet did not work and the coffee was stale. it was not a sanitary room to stay in.

The employees were friendly and helpful. I would have liked to be closer to the center of town. The hotel has easy access to the freeway and airport. I feel they need to upgrade their rooms.

The hotel is the cheapest around the airport! Their parking packages are great and real good bargain, but be aware that this is to be booked seperate and is not included in their regular room prices! Front desk staff is really great and really fun!

The price and location was the main reason I picked this hotel. They seem to be trying to upgrade the location, though. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

No iron in room or other that would make business travelers happy. Construction was being done to hotel which was not notified. This hotel would not be chosen otherwise. The beds were tough like sleeping on the floor.

Easy to get to the airport, this hotel was not only convenient but comfortable and good quality for the price. It was clean, quiet and while not a 5 Star facility, it was reasonably priced (especially on a major weekend in Spokane--Lilac Festival Parade). A/C worked well, especially given the temperatures that day. Convenient parking, friendly staff, definitely would be a place I'd stay again.

The Econo Lodge was a very good value. The rooms were clean and well kept. The setting was quiet and only a short drive to the airport. The Continental Breakfast was a bit short and needs dome upgrading, but tasted good. Staff was very attentive to details and very helpful.

There are no positive things to say about it, it was dirty and miserable.I will never go back. The linen was stained dirty, leaks from the water onto the floor, dirty carpet. The hotel was less than acceptable, we had our 1 year old son with us because we traveled to have his next day surgery andI was afraid to let him touch the floor or the bed for that matter. The bathroom was disgusting it looked like the room had not been cleaned in months. my husband, me and my son smelled dirty when we left. The floor was sopping wet from a leak under the carpet in between the wall and the bed. The sheets blankets and pillows had yellow and black stains on them. The entire stay was gross!

The ECONO LODGE, SPOKANE, WA was ok for the price as it was fairly inexpensive. When we walked in there was an odor however most of the room looked clean. This is an older hotel and were there were improvements, they were poorly done. I did notice something splattered on part of a wall which I assumed was food of some sort. The whole room just had a feel of a cheap motel. Maybe we just got what we paid for.

Very clean. Did not have a refrigerator. We were pleased with the room. It was clean and very comfortable. The staff answered all of our questions and was helpful. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Love the park and fly option. Didn't have reserved room clean and stuck us in a queen bed. Promoted as "updated" and yet "updates" were very limited.
