Room was clean and comfortable. It was surprisingly quiet considering it was right on a highway. Cable TV could have had more channels. Small rerigerator worked fine, but I missed the room not having a microwave. Mattress was the hardest I've ever slept on, which, as I was sleeping alone, I enjoyed, but many would not, especially for "active" couples. Pillows were hard and "clumpy". Staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, I had a clean, comfortable room at a low price. With the notations above, I would recommend this motel and would stay there again.

The bed was very comfortable and room air conditioning was just right. There was no headboard and the holes were showing where the headboard should have been. The hotel was everything we needed it to be: comfortable bed, coffee available in am, and location near our places of interest (shopping, dining, and special attractions).

The location was very close to the site and sound play. It was located around corner less then 10 miles. Close to shopping and food.

Good location within walking distance to Dutch wonderland. Access to another hotels pool and indoor waterpark (fee) was a plus. Mold smelling stairs and hallways. Out dated bathrooms had little water pressure in shower for first 10 mins. Hotel was located in a central location, within walking distance to food and Dutch Wonderland. Short distance to Amish attractions. Hallways and stairs had a musky, mildew smell to them. Hotel doesn't have too many non-smoking rooms. The smoking room that I requested due to the last one available was a true smoke-smelling room, linens and all. No hairdryer in room and a good portion of the cable channels were distorted. Okay hotel for the money, but not impressed.

The Econ Lodge in Lancaster Pa is a good place to stay. The room was spotlessly clean and large with a table and two chairs for reading and eating, the room also had a frig in it. The bed was great if you like a firm mattress. The bathroom was large and the water pressure was wonderful with lots of hot water. The room was also clean in a timely fashion. We asked for a non smoking room but did not get it therefor the room and hallway smelled of smoke. The TV only got 13 channels and the front desk people did not present a good impression.

Good location. Very old carpet in lobby & hallways smelled musty. The hotel appeared clean but smelled like old, musty carpet in lobby and hallways. Room did not smell. Good location.

Somewhat spartan, but it served its purpose as a place to stay over night for shopping trip.

If you are looking for a clean place to lay your head, this is it. Nothing special, but at the very least, more than you monies worth. Convenient to the Lancaster, PA area for both business and shopping, it works. Don't expect the 4 seasons, but by far not a flea bag. Has exactly what it claims to have, inexpensive rooms that are clean and convenient. I have stayed for 3-4 days per week for the last 3 weeks and it works for me. They have recently added the neighboring pool area and it is not far away (1 block). Nothing about the room is over the top, but it is clean and has everything needed.

The Econolodge South, in Lancaster, PA. was very clean. We had stayed @ other hotels on our trip, yet none were as clean and/or maintained as this one. It was also the least expensive with coffee and tea available 24/7. The only thing we didn't care for? The hardness of the mattress. Other than that, staff, amenities, and value were great. The locale was centrally located to all kinds of activities and food businesses.

You get what you pay for . The hotel is nice enough. Nothing super fancy, no ironing board or coffee maker in the room, but it was fine for the price we paid. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was in good shape, clean and roomy enough. The girl at the front desk could use a course in people skills

Good over night place to rest for the money.

This hotel was so bad on entry that after inspecting room, checked out immediately. The Desk clerk let me stand at the counter for three or four minutes and requested that I wait until she finished a note to housekeeping. After registering was not told directions to room and when asked if there was an elevator said yeah, those fourteen steps going to second floor. Left luggage in car and inspected room. Hallway to room was very warm smelly and floor was dirty. The room was HOT and A/C was blowing warm air. Checked it twice to see if set correctly. Returned to Desk and told clerk that room was not satisfactory and left..
