We stayed at the econo-lodge for one night, we were in Nashville for a Sonic Youth Concert. The hotel was relatively clean. Check-in was simple and quick. The front desk arranged a taxi for us to go to the War Memorial. It picked us up right at our room door. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The toliet pressure was incredible and loud lol shower had an endless supply of hotwater so what more could we ask for?

The staff was friendly! The shower had wonderful water pressure and constant hot water. It wasn't in a great neighborhood. The hotel staff was very friendly and eager to assist. I am 5'3" and the shower was perfect for me the water was hot and had good pressure the shower head wasn't too high up but for my husbands friend that went with us the shower was way to low he actually hit his head on the ceiling when trying to shower. The neighborhood wasn't great at all it did however have wonderful access to the highways and into downtown Nashville.

Driving from Michigan to Texas on a tight budget and needed to find a cheap place to stay halfway between. We decided to stay at the Econo Lodge in Nashville because of the cheap price and location - the hotel was right next to the freeway near downtown. There are several standard fast food restaurants right next to the hotel. It is an easy 10-minute drive to the Ryman Aud and the music venues and shops on Broadway. The room itself was very clean, but I will agree with the previous reviewer that some of the public areas in the motel are dingy. We had very basic amenities in the room, which was to be expected considering the low price. The bed sheets and carpeting were clean and everything in the room was working, which is pretty much all we require. The AC did its job, which was good since Nashville was quite hot and humid when we got there. It turns out that this place did not have wireless Internet when we were there so we had to use a public computer in the lobby:( However, people at the front desk and staff were very friendly during our stay, which was a plus. A good place to stay for a night if you just need a basic no-frills hotel.

This was not what we expected. We thought it was close to everything and we would be able to walk to everything and we were told by two different cab drivers that this was a bad part of town an be careful. We checked out, didn't even stay here and I am hoping to get refunded my money. The hotel said we would be charge for one day only. I am waiting for the credit to show on my credit card. Not happy!

Everything. It may have been affordable but filthy. I know they did not even vacuum the carpet. We only used the sheets on the beds because the rest was so disgusting.

I have never seen a more disorganized and filthy hotel. The public restroom had missing dirty floor tiles and a dirty filled ashtry in ladies stall full of cigarette butts. The door jambs and handles were so filthy I found myself using my elbow to go through door. Windows were filthy and I can't believe the management doesn't care. If we hadn't been so tired we would have left.

The pool. Very old and smelled like cigarettes in hall and lobby. It was cheap which was good but very smelly. The rooms were a nice size.

It had a pool. Rooms weren't' clean, Dingy atmosphere. I don't know that I would recommend this hotel. It wasn't very clean. It was cheap and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms leave a lot to be desired.

Nothing. They did let us leave with no charge. It had roaches, smelled and was trashed. Horrible. Roaches, smelled, hole in the bathroom door, broken drawers in dresser, heavy equipment in the parking lot right outside our room, broken concrete and the list goes on.

The front desk person was very nice. The whole thing. It stunk in the room like old and the ceiling was falling in the bath room nasty! We arrived and it looked nice on the out side and then we got to our room and walked in and the smell hit you. It stunk and the carpet was nasty! They really need to be cleaned. It made the bottom of our feet dirty black. The ceiling in the bath room was falling in over the tub I was not impressed.

Close to highway. Location. We asked for non smoking room but had smoking room. There were shoeprints on the wall, the bathroom could have been cleaner and in better repair.

I liked the closeness to the highway and the ground level floor room I eventually received. The hotel was next to a saloon, the first and second room was extremely dirty. The manager eventually put us in a descent room once. The room that she gave us was worse than the one that we were complaining about. She eventually gave us another room which the tub would stop up with water, the hot water fixture was broken and burn marks on the carpet. I like the location, but the hotel did not meet my expectations.

Staff wonderful, good cheap hotel just so you have a place to crash, the hotel is old and they are trying to upgrade. No sign, good location but hard to find. Old with wires showing, old wall paper, furniture, beds everything. No hair drier or little shampoos, Like I said old hotel switching from circle 8 to knights no sign. But great price for a clean room, bathroom and towels, close to where we wanted to be friendly helpful staff.

The hot Coffee. The roaches, the dirty sheets, the dried gum on the wall by the bed, the destroyed furniture. This was one of the most uncomfortable places which I have ever stayed. It was dirtier than some of the places where I have slept on the floor in other countries. Besides the sheets which were full of holes, there were no extra blankets for the bed. The pillow cases were grungy yellow, and the furniture in that room was either busted up or destroyed with stains. The little roaches did not help in our stay. The pink gum dried onto the wall beside the bed certainly provided enough evidence of the lack of care that this management and owner staff puts into the property.

Nothing. See review. Room smelled like body odor. Sink faucet handle came off in wife's hand, stained tub, incorrect sheets on bed, handles missing on dresser, staff not professional looking. Room not clean, no coffee pot, no cups for ice etc.

I liked the quiet nature of the hotel. Exterior rooms and all doors into main bldg were locked from inside. This hotel was great for its purpose. I wasn't looking for luxury, but a comfortable place to sleep and relax. The hotel provided that, without a lot of hoopla and was more than comfortable. A couple of stores and restaurants in close proximity and despite the closeness of the interstate, it was very quiet. Wish the pool (closed due to season) had been open and perhaps the hotel bar/restaurant, so no evaluation on those items.

Easy access to the highway. The bathrooms did not look like they have been cleaned. The sheets were not that great. The hotel is next to the highway so it was easy to get to the places we needed to go. The hotel is not in the greatest neighborhood, but the price was right. The only big complaint I have was the bathroom could have been a lot cleaner, but the staff was very friendly.

The water pressure was incredible. The room was filthy. I would not recommend this motel to a homeless person. Staying on the streets would be better! The room was filthy and smelled strongly of stale smoke, though I booked a non smoking room. There was a fist hole in the bathroom door and the door was split in two pieces. There were outlets with no covers and loose wires hanging out. There was no ironing board and the cord to the blow dryer was cut. Duct tape was used to hold the batteries in the remote control. The description stated the motel had a "disco", which was actually a closed down saloon. This was a horrible disgrace and I would not recommend it to anyone.

The manager was present and personable to us. Halls & stairs dirty. Run-down looking exterior. If I could be confident that it was clean, I wouldn't mind it not being up-to-date or all brand new facility and paint. I'm quite sure our room was clean, but it hadn't been used for a while therefore was 'musty' smelling. I would consider asking upon making reservations that my room be 'aired' or cleaned the day or our arrival.

The bed was hard. Plain basic hotel friendly staff hard bed filthy bathroom moldy smell and horrible thermostat either too damn cold or hot not local Starbucks drove 45 min to get that.
