The Econo Lodge Mystic is conveniently located off Interstate 95 and is right up the road from Mystic Aquarium and Mystic Seaport. Check0in was fast, thorough and friendly. During our stay, we had opportunity to interact with other employees, all of whom were warm and helpful. In every case, they initiated friendly conversation and were able to answer our questions. The room was average, but clean and comfortable. There were a few small, pesky mildew stains in the tub enclosure...but, hey, it is the coast and mildew is just about inevitable. There are many dining options within walking/short drive distance and the hotel is right off the exit ramp of I85. Easy to find, but suprisingly quiet. Area attractions are a stone's throw away. And after driving all day, I was thrilled to see there was a pool! Nothing fancy here. But safe, clean, comfortable...at a good price.

Me & my husband had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The pool is very clean, never crowded, the front desk clerk was extremely friendly, and the hotel is in an excellent location to visit all sites at Mystic. I do not know what people expect for the money; if you want a Hilton Room go find a place that charges Hilton prices. This is an excellent deal for someone who is on a budget and just wants an inexpensive get-away. I will most certainly be returning and would recommend it to others as well.

Location, price. Dated economy hotel. Dated, in need of renovation. Excellent location. Staff is friendly enough. Third time I stayed at this hotel.

The water presure was weak and the temperature was cold [even though there were no more than a half dozen cars in the parking lot]. Our towels were stained and the room smelled as if a dog had left its waste in the corner. Not a good night in any way.

The lodge had clean towels in room and room had wireless internet room was clean but i didn't spend much time in it the coffee was great in lodge lobby .

Had a refrigerator and microwave. Lack of cleanliness, could not put us in a second floor room. This hotel was not clean. The bathmat had stains on it, the ceiling in the bathroom was molding and panels were askew. When the towels were held up to light, could see how worn they were. We asked for a second floor room because you enter the room from the parking lot, but couldn't give us one despite them all being empty because none of them had been cleaned yet after a busy weekend. We had a young baby so I was not comfortable being on the ground floor. Saw a Dodge looking gentleman watching us and then enter another one of the rooms. We ended up leaving because it was not a clean room.

My family and I stay here three to four times a year from NJ. The location is ideal Staff always accomodates our room requests. Clean-up people are through and friendly. Pool is clean and refreshing. Breakfast is next to nothing but you can take what you want. Rooms are super clean and all have received brand new furniture, beds, etc.....spacious and clean, TV has many chanels. They did get rid off the table and chairs which is a negative, but still quality is outstanding for the value, and location is ideal I highly recommend.

Friendly management. Black marks on pillowcases. Hair on bathroom floor. Dust. Broken lampshades. Friendly management but the fun stops there. Black marks on 2 pillowcases from 2 different beds. Made us wonder if the sheets had been changed. Hair on bathroom floor. Broken lampshades on all lamps. Lots of dust, even clumps of dust.

Close to the local attractions, restaurants, etc. At 7 am the adjoining room was blasting music. The bed was very uncomfortable, the pillows were small, but overall it wasn't an entirely horrible experience.

Location, it was an easy commute to our event at Foxwood's. There was a musty smell in the room (perhaps from previous smokers). The hotel is fine for short stays when you just need somewhere to shower and sleep that is inexpensive. It was conveniently close to the highway, gas station and 24 hour store.

It is very close to the casinos and restaurants. The receptionist needed to be happier but the rest was great. The hotel in general was in great conditions. Very convenient also.
