Good experience, have stayed at this hotel in the past. We like this one because of the cleanliness of the rooms and the closeness to the places we want to visit. Staff is very friendly...we will stay here again.

Nothing comes to mind. Not in the best neighborhood. Small hotel, older building. Not in the best neighborhood and not enough parking. Our romm was OK, but overheard another customer that had numerous complaints about theirs.

WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED ON OUR STAY AT THE ECONO LODGE IN RICHMOND. THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY. THE TRIP WAS SUPPOSE TO BE ENJOYABLE. THERE WERE NO OTHER ROOMS AVAILABLE THIS WEEKEND BECAUSE OF THE RACE. THE HOTEL ROOM WAS EXTRA FILTHY. THE BEDDING WAS FULL OF HAIR. THE FRONT DOOR HAD OVER AN INCH GAP BETWEEN THE FLOOR AND THE BOTTOM OF THE DOOR. IT ALSO WAS LOCATED IN A VERY UNSAFE NEIGHBORHOOD. THE TELEPHONE RANG ALL NIGHT LONG FROM SOMEONE TRYING TO LOCATE A PRIOR GUEST. MY GIRLFRIEND WAS AFRAID TO LEAVE THE ROOM FOR HER SAFETY. WE WILL NEVER USE this online travel website AGAIN!!

Oh, my God, this was my worst nightmare. The room was so dirty and so stinky...There was a lot of strange things around the hotel.

The roomt that had NO Internet, NO alarm clock, NO telephone, and it needed serious maintenance. The shower handle kept falling off. The bathroom door was warped and could not be closed. The coat rack behind the door was broken and unuseable. Unpainted plywood had been used to repair items like the towel rack and the toilet paper holder. When we mentioned these items to the front desk clerk, his dismissive reply was hey it's the Econo Lodge. They DID offer us a different room for the 2nd night, but from what we saw it really wasn't worth moving...

It was conveniently located to where I was conducting business. I did not like the incompentency of the staff. This hotel was located in a less desirable part of town. The ice machine did not work. There was no remote for the television. The room smelled as though there was moisture in the carpet. I would not stay at this hotel again.

we were very disappointed on our stay at this hotel in richmond. the staff was friendly. the trip was suppose to be enjoyable. there were no other rooms available this weekend because of the race. the hotel room was extra filthy. the bathroom door was busted in half from someone trying to bust the door down. the bedding was full of hair. the front door had over an inch gap between the floor and the bottom of the door. it also was located in a very unsafe neighborhood. the telephone rang all night long from someone trying to locate a prior guest. my girlfriend was afraid to leave the room for her safety.

The price was fantastic. free continental breakfast complete with a free USA Today newspaper. The room was ample with two beds, a table, microwave and frig. It was quiet even though just a block from a freeway exit. The bathroom was separate from the vanity area. There was a good restaurant next door, etc.

The EconoLodge was in an unexpectedly ghetto-like area--lots of noise and lots of litter and debris outside. Oh, well, it served the purpose, barely.
