The carpet has some kind of odor and the bed sheets has hair on it and the pillow cases doesn't look clean.

The room was pretty small & was old & run down. There was no elevator so we had to drag our bags upstairs(we were tired after a long trip).

It was close to my destination. Hardly any service, bugs, not clean, not comfortable.

Our group of 17 could not have been ore pleased for a budget hotel. The rooms were very large, the rooms were clean and the man at the desk was extremely helpful--even printed out many directions from Mapquest. I highly recommend this hotel for money concious travelers. Only a few miles to Newport with restaurants and Wal-Mart on the way.

Location was convenient. Dingy.

overflowing garbage in breakfast area, horrible odor in lobby, housekeeping never cleaned room, plastic chairs in room, opened milk container with no lid in refrigerator for coffee milk.

It was in Middletown. Shabby and run down. I will never stay in an Econolodge again!

For a budget hotel, it was at least clean and quiet. The beds and towels could be a little softer, but our room had everything we needed--with free wireless internet to boot! This isn't for tourists, however. It's a long way from downtown Newport, but within walking distance to two fast food restaurants and across the street from a big grocery store.

Friendly. It smelled musty. Front desk was good, but room was old, rug was dirty and room smelled musty.

The hotel smelled moldy and everything seemed Damp. It also wasnt very clean.

Recently renovation and good housekeeping. Old HVAC units, noisy-cheap linen-worn out beds.

June, 2008
Although we were apprehensive about the quality when we drove in, we found the staff friendly, the room spacious and we were comfortable. A good hotel for the price near to Newport.

Could stay on a holiday weekend for only 1 night. Would liked it to be closer to Downtown Newport. Basic economical motel

It was conveniently located. It had a bad musty odor from the lobby into the rooms. It smelled so bad, we all got headaches. The tub was dirty and the window screen was broken. The bathtub was skanky with mold on the tiles and scum all inside the tub. Shower curtain had nasty hairs on it. The odor in the hotel left us all with a headache. Don't go there.

August, 2007
Location. No ice buckets-they used old plastic containers. It was adequate for a motel that you are not going to spend much time in. The room was clean enough but they could spend some money on upgrading a little.
Date of Stay:
July, 2007
Man at front desk was very helpful. Stairs and no elevator. It was clean and friendly. Just a stop on our trip. It was a great value and it was nice.
