Convenient hotel within walking distance to the Metro line. Very good French restaurant next door.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, good value. Maintenance was slow to respond to a plumbing problem.

I stayed over at this hotel for one night because I had to work late in Arlington, and it was only about $* to stay with a walk-in reservation. I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg, but yet i wanted the place to be clean and safe, so i decided on this hotel. I felt pretty safe in the area; the front desk personnel was okay, not the total people. The room was clean; there was even a flat screen TV! Pretty cool for an economy type room. It was just what I needed and it was cheap to boot, about $* for a night's stay; not too bad. I would stay there again if I needed to. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a nice, but cheaper place to stay.

A simple setting for starting a visit to the DC area. The Metro is a 1/2 to 1 mile walk through a pleasant neighborhood. Though there is little dining in the immediate vacinity, restaurants are a short drive away. WiFi is only available in a downstairs lobby which was too hot for comfort.

Relatively close to the DC Metro. Not many restaurants or shopping within nearby walking distance. Good location. Near the highway, comfortable beds.

Close to metro, clean, inexpensive. Very small, no amenities (no microwave, coffee pot, etc). The room was clean (but small), but was fine for my purposes. There was to the Metro station was only about a 5-7 minute walk, so it was close and convenient. The Metro ride to downtown is about an hour, including the walk there and line changes--so be aware that it's NOT a "quick" ride (but much faster than a car ride during rush hour!). My biggest complaint is that there is no coffee pot in the room (but I hear they did have some downstairs)--so if this is something that is important to you, bring your own. There is an iron/ironing board and a blow-dryer, however. Overall, I was happy with my stay, especially for the price. I would use this hotel again.

Employees were great. No amenities. Very overpriced, but then that may be because of the area.

10 minute walk on bike trail (paved) to Metro station; next door to both fancy restaurant and upscale sandwich shop. Had to carry luggage up about 12 stairs (inside made it easier). This is a nice standard hotel. Pleasant staff. Very clean. Walking distance from Metro station. 1/2 block from a French restaurant. 1 block from upscale sandwich/salad eatery (think Cos). Complimentary continental breakfast.

Location and free parking. I prefer the upper floors. This is the first time I stayed in the sub floor. I have always found this hotel to be above its rating, conveniently located and clean. I appreciate free parking, restaurants nearby, a walking trail and the metro.

Rooms were clean, staff efficient, location near metro excellent. No open space for breakfast or sitting except room. Rooms were clean and well maintained with roof and mw. Location is excellent for metro to wdc. Hotel has no community space and would be difficult for children. Excellent location for business or travel to wdc.

This Econo lodge is excellently maintained inside and out it was very well appointed and the manager and staff are the best I have ever met. Only lament was its size. Rooms are tight including the public areas. This is a great economical place to stay for the business traveler. Located three blocks to the metro. As tourists the staff was very knowledgeable about attractions and restaurants. Lack of activities and space for children would be a problem (we didn't have any). Made the next Econo lodge look shabby.
